Thank you Kate! Gemma is now wandering around my new game A long lost relative of the Langdons' passed on, but on the bright side he left a ton of money to Yann! The limo is here for prom! Too bad none of the kids can go. Jace decided he was going to try and sneak out to go to the prom anyways. But he is caught by Jamie coming home from work. Jace begs to go to the school dance, but Jamie will not budge even though controller Dizzy's heart was breaking for the poor wrongly accused teen. Now on top of being grounded Jace has tv taken away from him. Oh no! Yann is all sparkly! Here is that jerk in the black cloak.. come to take away another family member. You know you could at least not act so happy Mr. Grim Reaper! In the middle of taking Yann, Grimmy started choking! O.O It was very confusing. But then he stopped and took Yann anyways. In all the excitement of the teens sneaking out and Yann passing on, everyone forgot about Jack and his birthday. Poor little guy had to transition all on his lonesome. He gain the technophobe trait. The next day after school Jannah gets scolded for something. I don't even know what she did! I am not liking how strict generations is making parents. Her punishment is to help around the house o.O Something Jannah already does. That is all I have for now.

Here is that jerk in the black cloak.. come to take away another family member. I LOVE this line! He is a big jerk in a black cloak. RIP Yann. A random question here...but are the Langdons quite rich?! I noticed that the Warners are when playing yesterday. Think I'm going to get them to invest in some real estate because all that cash is just sitting there doing nothing! Such a shame that Jace didn't get to go to the prom...and then got his TV taken away. Very strict Langdon parents! (P.S. I was browsing on MTS the other day and I came across this! It made me think of you and I thought you might like to see it)

ohh, thanks for the link. I am waiting for Awesome mod to be updated and then i was gonna try it out. There is a setting that cops will only pick up the kid after curfew if they happen to actually see them. Which will hardly ever happen cause I have not really seen cops just out driving around.
It's a rather silly thing to be so strict about. There is an actual want to go wishing at sunrise which happens before the curfew is lifted. O.o so even if my teen sim went out with a parent to go fishing the cops would auto show up to arrest him for being out before curfew was lifted.

Jace called Lisa over the next night to apologize about asking her to the prom and then not showing up. He gave her some pretty flowers to help his case along. She thought they were great, but it turns out she had not been sleeping much lately and fell a sleep right there in the front yard! O.O Jace was really worried something more serious might be wrong... while on the other hand his invisible friend made fun of her for falling asleep. Poor Joel. He's getting in trouble again. I really donno what for. The only thing I can think of is the game claims he skipped school, yet when the message popped up I checked and he was at school o.O It's Gemma and Jamie's birthday!! They both transition into adulthood with midlife crisis. They both got makeovers too. The two girls are graduating soon! I better read up and find what I need to do for that. Due to her midlife crisis Gemma would like to move to a new house. I am sorry Gemma... too much has been put into this house for you to move.

SORRY! Skyrim has taken over my life! Oh my god, it's taken over mine too. Someone I work with couldn't recommend it enough, so as we've got similar tastes in video games I went out and bought it...wow. Just wow. I definitely don't regret buying it, but I have lost so many hours of my life in the past month or so playing it!

I am so completely addicted! This is the first video game of this type I have played. So many people were recommending it and oohing and aweing over it. I thought what the heck it has nord and dragons, two things I have always been interested in. And i had been wanting a game that would utilized my monster computer I got in september. I had no idea i would fall so deeply into the world of Skyrim. I have been playing it for 3 months now and still not bored. I haven't even finished the main story line because i have been doing a ton of side quests and really just soaking up the whole story of the land.

So, when we last saw the Langdons... All the kids were teens and for one reason or another all got grounded! Very sad as the prom was coming up. It didn't matter to most as they had no dates, but poor Jace he actually had a date. He tried to sneak out, but things didn't work out for him. Both parents (Gemma and Jamie) aged to adults and both started mid life crisis. And on a sadder note Yann (grandfather) passed away recently. Okay...I think we are up to speed! (I needed that refresher as much as you guys it's been a while. Also when I looked in the folder and found there had only been three more updates to finish the story I felt like a real jerk for not doing this mush sooner.) I donno why i took the picture, but here is a shot of Jace + sneaky face. It seems today was the day all the kids were let off the hook with their punishments. Gemma went around patting them on the shoulder and telling them everything was okay now. Jace Joel Jannah Jaslyn was the only teen that didn't get in trouble. I noticed later that day that Gemma wanted to congratulate her little brother Grover And when I looked at the family tree i found that Grover had married Martina Doss! I wish them many happy years and lots of little babies Speaking of love and marriage... the love affair of the garden gnome and the laundry gnome-bear is still in full swing. They can often be found together now. Gemma had a new client to do a room make over. They didn't give her much money to work with and she did the best she could. Still the client was unhappy about the make over and really talked down to Gemma, which made her cry. And what does the insensitive jerk do? He whips out his camera phone and takes a picture of Gemma as she is a pretty big celebrity in town. Gemma was feeling pretty down about her latest job review so this free vacation couldn't have come at any better time! Every single teen in the house at that moment had the same idea... THROW A PARTY! It was nice to see that even with out the parents there Jannah took control and fixed everyone dinner. The boys how ever are not so self sufficient and laundry is just piling up in there room. *plugs nose* ewww Stay tuned for the next episode of the Langdons. We'll see if the kids throw that party or not.

Who would think that a little doll could trap someone in a bed?! But Mr. Snuggles the creepy doll did just that. I had set Jace to clean up all the laundry in the house and noticed he was still sitting in bed. After trying for a third time to get him to do things i realized the doll was in his way Either that or the giant smelly pile of clothes. Why were the kids cleaning the house you ask? Because they were throwing a huge party later that night. Joel was very excited. The first people start showing up and they get their boogy on. Jace finally got to dance with the girl he asked to prom. Everyone was having lots of fun. Joel met a cute neighbor girl and tried to impress her with flowers. Even little Jack got to stay up late a join in. I was amazed to see the time was after 3am and people were still going! Jack noticed no one eating the pizza so he figured he'd take it all for himself. Meanwhile Jannah was learning a new weird hand dance for this dude. o.O Around 6:35am Jannah noticed the time and started to worry that they might get busted. She frantically started shooing people out the door. Even though they were being kicked out... everyone seemed to have ad a good time. She sends up a little prayer that everyone gets out soon. She can't tell if it's her worried mind, but she could have sworn she heard a police siren in the distance. Or not too distance! The cop was really mad! O.O I think that's a little uncalled for. So does Jannah cause she tried to calm the police lady down. And the cop called the parents. eep! They will be home in an hour! After the cop left jannah was really mad. She figured she would have gotten away with the party had that pesky cop not called her parents. Everyone pitched in to clean the place up though. The party was a modest success. Not too bad, but I wonder what it takes to have a great party? This one seemed pretty hopping. The pictures seemed to have gone poofy, but just after the parents arrived home all the kids were scolded for throwing the party

It's the girls' birthday!! Jaslyn is up to the cake first. Turning to a young adult she gained nurturing and her LTW is to be The Tinkerer. Jannah was up next. She gained genius and want to be a monster maker. And then the Langdons all died. THE END

Thankfully that *was* the 10th generation so as far as any actual challenge went I completed it! Also a bit after this I got a new computer and I didn't bring over any of the Langdon files. Actually I didn't transfer over many files at all. Everything is still sitting on the old computer. It was a little sad to see the Langdons end after playing them for so long. I started this family in august of 2009.. that's almost 3 years!! O.O So it's also nice to be able to be done with them. Here is the final version of the family tree.

First of all, oh wow, and well done for getting this far. I've thoroughly enjoyed reading about their adventures.
Are you planning on making a new family? I hear Supernatural is the next EP - released September, just in time for Halloween !!!! (Fairies, Zombies, Werewolves, Witches and more for the Vampires to do!! SQUEEEEEEEEEE!!!!)

I just bought the showtime or showbiz (what ever it is) ep the other day so I have been exploring with that. I did start another family, but I donno if I'll post any of them. It took me for ever to do this family. I have been taking pictures, so i donno. Maybe down the line when i am far enough ahead i may start posting the family.
Oh I just looked up the supernatural EP and that looks like it could be a lot of fun to play.

Oh WOW! My jaw dropped wide open as I read "the end" - I can't believe it! Has there already been ten generations?! Crazy. It feels like yesterday that I started reading about the Langdons, hehe (can't believe it's actually been 3 years...).
Whenever my Simmies throw parties, they always end up "verging on epic", and I'm really not sure why! I always make sure I buy a buffet table, a bar, and have the radio turned on - party goers usually dance the whole time though, not sure how JUST dancing makes an epic party!
I heard about Supernatural, sounds ok to me. I really want to see weather added to the game, but probably seeing as TS3 is nearing the end of its life-cycle, that's pretty unlikely. Plus I do have to say - is the next EP "supernatural" merely because of the popularity of the "Twilight phenomenon", and its predecessors? *sigh*
...Just as long as EAxis don't jump on the 50 Shades bandwagon *shudder* (Not that they would, it being a teen game & all)

I have not read 50 Shades, but I have had enough friends read it and tell me about it to know it's nothing i want to read. I have heard not only is the story nothing new, surprising or even every interesting that just in general the writing is pure crap. There was someone somewhere that used they nook to do word searches and counted how many times certain words were used... I found it pretty funny.
I was also curious if they supernatural was coming out because of the craze for Twilight and things of that nature. I would have loved to seen weather added as well.
So is there already talk of Sims 4? I would have thought they'd milk this game a bit longer.
