Unfortunately I have seen this too late and am off to bed, but I promise you when i get home from work tomorrow i will do the update.

The reason I have seen this just before my bed time is I have spent most my evening playing and sad to say that the family died with tonight's playing :/ But you wont have to worry about that for a while... i still have quite a few updates for you.

Home from work and as promised here is the HUGE update! So you have been warned it's a lot of pictures. I am sure while reading this you can already see it's a wedding so no spoilers there, but I decided to do a huge wedding party for Gemma cause she would be the last generation to actually have her adult life played out. Also when this was all being played was just around the time of the Royal Wedding in real life and let's just say I got a little wedding fever The Langdons are like my Sims' "Royal" family after all.

No cathedral for Gemma, but her dad made over part of the yard into an outdoor wedding fantasy area. It's hard to see, but if you look to the right.. in front of the yellow flower bush you will see the topiary sculpture giraffe that Ginger made watching over the whole thing so it's like she is there.


*squints at screen* What the...? o.O
So I... err.. I mean Yann spent a lot of time the night before to set up this party and it seems some time in the night the garden gnome moved to make sure he would not be left out of the celebration


Oh look guests are starting to arrive. I was highly scandalized by their lack of hats though *tsk tsk*

*Yes this was the part influenced by the real life wedding going on and I had a bunch more arrival pictures, but when I went to organized this update they were nowhere to be found.

Due to all the traffic getting to the house with all the guests Jamie showed up nearly 3 HOURS LATE!

At least his formal outfit was better than the Christmas sweater *phew*

And then this messaged popped up o.O Yeah you have somewhere to be.. YOUR WEDDING!


Paden is a bit confused and spent half his time wishing it was him up there with Gemma instead of his cousin...


And the other half of the time he spent wishing giant red slash circles would come down from the heavens and smoosh Gemma.


Finally everyone arrived! I would just like to point out that the wedding was meant to start at 2pm and by this time it's nearing 7pm.


Gemma could hardly contain herself as Jamie put the ring on her finger.


Jamie was pretty please too even though the Langdon family is very modern and he would be taking Gemma's last name instead of the other way around.


Awww... first kiss as man and wife. *sheds tear* they grow up so fast.


After the vows are said it didn't take too long for the real partying to start. Gemma and Jamie hit the dance floor right off.
Jamie: YAY! Look at me do the "wiggle your butt in front of the fire" dance!
Gemma: *nervous laugh* I just married this dorky dancing man.
Yann: Oi! My daughter just married this dorky dancing man.

Paden is really not taking things well at all.


Oh look! Yvette Langdon has had a birthday again.. how can I tell... check out her hair. A side note... the really nice thing about having large weddings and having so many "spare" family members around the town is they can all come to the wedding and we can see how they have got on since leaving the active house.


Gemma was feeling really bad for Paden, so she tired to hook him up with a distant cousin of hers.


She convinced him to go give his best pick-up line.


But Paden opens with trying to kiss her instead of introducing himself and things go badly.


Paden: What do you mean you don't want a kiss... I gave you my smolder look... that always works?


Aww man! See the guy next to Grover?! That is the paparazzi dude! The gate was left open so guests could get in quicker and he snuck into the party, now we'll never get rid of him -.-


Yup.. there he goes being his annoying paparazzi self. Yann was just trying to have some dinner and the paparazzi dude goes and takes pictures of him eating.


Gemma's party was oh so close to being EPIC! I think that's what every bride want's to hear about her wedding


okay that is all for now.
I kinda wish I had waited to throw the wedding till after Generations beings there are a bunch of things for parties, but oh well.

Sorry for all my image spam...you can tell I have been right-click saving a lot of stuff on the internet hehe.

The wedding was beautiful, makes me feel like I want to throw a big wedding party for the Warners, they never get wedding parties. Just birthday parties, but they are never 'verging on epic'.

I think you should be relieved the guests didn't turn up in hats...especially when they could turn up in something like Princess Beatrice wore *shudders*

lol... I was tempted to photoshop that hat on Kassia as she was arriving. (Oh! I have just realized I forgot to mention in the post that the one arrival picture I have was of Kassia Langdon.)

Yes the Langdon's story is almost over... well in my game it *IS* over because of a stupid error that has occurred, but I already have a new one started that I have been playing here and there in the last month of the Langdons. I think you might be pleasantly surprised to find out who the founder of that family is (when I get around to posting it).

I was gonna just play a bit... do some more exploring of the EPs cause I KNOW I have not seen everything all of the EPs have added, but I found my heart isn't really in it. I need to have a main family. I enjoy playing the family through generation after generation. I need the challenge of seeing if I can get through another generation, of how many generations out can I get to keep me wanting to play. So yes another family legacy has already started. Though it might be a bit before I start posting that... need to build up some updates. *looks at notebook* I do have 15 more updates for you all... so while posting those I might generate enough posts of the other family to start again right after the Langdons, but I am not promising anything

Just after the wedding Grover hopped on line and started checking out reality site for a new house. In no time at all he found one he liked and moved out.


FINALLY! Jamie is controllable and I can get rid of that horrible looking sweater! Here is Jamie after his make over and for the FIRST person to correctly tell me what Jamie's shirt is a reference to will get a PRIZE!!


Jamie's LTW is to become a world class chef or something like that so he need to look for a new job, but before doing that I had a quick peek to see if he had a current job. Mostly looked because I remembered his creepy job as a teen and looks like he stuck with that job O.O Only now he's moved up to burial Specialist. What does that even mean!?


Jamie was able to find a job in the culinary career track right away so he switched from his super creepy job to a more fitting one.


Everyone is all about the computer searches this update. Gemma also gets on the computer and looks if there are any professions in her desired career (architecture and interior design) and what luck! There is!


She sets off right away to start practicing some designs.


This gate is awesome for keeping out pesky paparazzi, but it really slows down day to day life -.- Repair men and maids are able to come right in, but first they wait about 2 hours outside the gate before they get around to opening it. Half the time they will stay out there the whole time, not do their work and then say they are all done, take money and leave!


Poor Gemma is feeling a little under the weather.


But it doesn't stop her from going to her favorite store and buying the household a TON of new books. She also got a big discount for being a celebrity!


The poor dear is having a rough time of it. Even in the middle of the night she gets sick and has to get out of bed,


She had just barely gotten back into bed and just closed her eyes when she felt the urge to get up again... POP!

I have absolutely no idea what Jamie's tee is a reference to...I've sat here for ages trying to work it out. It's probably something blindingly obvious too, but alas, my brain has the dumb.

The only thing I can think of is Mad Men but I've never watched an episode of that so it's just the vaguest guess ever. I have no idea if that even bears the slightest bit of relevance. Is the tee a reference to a period drama of some sort?

Downton Abbey??! I love that show too, can't wait for the next series...my blu-ray of series 1 is looking beautiful as it sits on my DVDcase (it's like a bookcase, but for DVDs, new word alert).

I can't believe the size of that discount Gemma got on books!! Wish the Warners had that much money to spend on books though, it's hard for them to earn big cash at the moment...no hints here...

Well I had hoped someone would guess the reference so I could give them a prize. I guess i wont be mean and hold back the next update

We rejoin the Langdons with FLIES! I don't remember ever seeing flies around the smelly clothes, but today I noticed some.


Speaking of dirty laundry.... The Langdons have totally given up on maids altogether and have hired a butler instead.


He starts off by making lobster for dinner. He's looking pretty good in my books!


Jamie is JUST NOW noticing that Gemma is with child and is a little nervous about becoming a father.


He doesn't have too long to worry because later that night...


Gemma gives birth to a little girl... awww! Meet Jannah Langdon (eccentric and good).


O.O And Jaslyn Langdon (genius and hates the outdoors)!


A day or two later Gemma is feeling a bit sick again.


And the next day from that her belly pops... again! I hope Jamie is not as surprised this time.


One day while a sim was down town taking care of some business i noticed a weird movement so with my super powers I stopped time to take a closer look.
Super fast vampire nurse!


I had barely turned around when I saw another blur... super fast vampire police!

why are all the important people around the town (i.e. doctors, police, firemen) vampires?

Soon it's time for the girl's birthday. Jannah is up first.


She was a little stunned at the happenings of the day and was no sure where to look and got a little cross eyed.

next up is Jaslyn.


Yay! One of them got red hair... isn't she adorable?! Both girls got their grandfather Yann's eyes.

As of this update Generations is installed in the game. Just so you know and to warn you there are quite a few Generations overload things as I played and found new things i wanted to share.

First we have the new memory system!

(which by the way is no turned off in my game cause it's flawed and annoying)

When Yann was putting his granddaughter Jaslyn to bed I couldn't help notice that this generations kids look like what i would have expected his and Ginger's kids to look like.


Jamie got flowers for Gemma... awww. (another generations interaction)

*gasp* Gemma download!! Thanks Diz. I downloaded her with no problems and now she's sitting in my SavedSims folder.

These past two updates are very cute! I must apologise for not commenting sooner though, my friend and I have been in Stratford-upon-Avon for the last week or so (Shakespeare's birthplace) and so I have been quite far away from my computer. It was gorgeous there, and it fed my love of Shakespeare, so I'm happy

Those creepy looking dolls...ooohhh I wish the kids in my game had some of those, I know what they are! *waves arms around* They'll be great though when the toddlers grow up! (Ok, vaguest comment about that ever.)

Okay an update!!
It is birthday time for the girls!


Jannah as a kid randomly gained the trait computer whiz.


Next up is Jaslyn.


She rolled and got the mean spirited trait. :/


The Langdon's butler needs to work on his personal hygiene a bit more.


Both the girls wanted a tree house so one day their parents surprised them with one.


Right away the girls played a game of pirates and went on the look out for rival "ships" passing by.


Joel has gotten really close with his mysterious toy, Riley.


*This next part was very sad and I donno how it happened. It happened one day right after starting the game up and I had barely been playing for a few minutes. Jamie just snapped! O.O My game is crazy!

One day when Jamie got home from work he out of the blue went straight into Gemma and accused her of cheating!


Poor Gemma! She has been stuck home most of her adult life having two sets of twins. Due to consecutive maternity leaves she has not even gone to a single day of work. And i forgot to grab a picture, but she is desperately stir crazy from not leaving the house... EVER!
But he insisted that she had cheated on him.


And then because of the stupid new memory system Jamie collected memories of this supposed cheating.




And then the jerk wanted to break up with her! Despite the fact they have FOUR little kids!


He also wouldn't let her sleep in the same bed.


Well this is just uncalled for! Gemma has NOT cheated! So I woke his butt up and made him go sleep in one of the new bunk beds put of for when the boys get older so Gemma could have the big bed.


The next morning Yann had a brilliant idea and took the mood curing thinger and cured Jamie of all the negative cheating moods. *cough* and then the all might Dizzy deleted the cheating memories (they were lies anyways!)


And after that Jamie was back to normal and apologized to Gemma.


The memory system is sooo flawed! There was never a romance with Payden, but her reputation thing lists they there was. And now it has Gemma listed as a cheater! She hasn't even seen Payden since the wedding! This is crazy!

Whoa Jamie really did have the crazy! That's so strange...I've never had false accusations like that. Crazy game! I like how the all-mighty Dizzy fixed it though (with a little help from Yann, which ok, the all-mighty Dizzy directed him to do)!

Had Jamie and Gemma not just had two more young kids and weren't still so young I might have let my game go on being crazy and play it how it went. But it really annoyed me that my game lost its minds with a young couple with 4 young kids. I HAD to step in.... I am sure you all can understand.

I have no clue why it did that either. I had played the night before and all was fine. I paused and save/quit with Gemma at the drafting table (where she always is) and Jamie at work, but almost done. Next night i started up the game and Jamie was on his way home and he already had queued the action to accuse Gemma of cheating. The game had only been running for less than a minute, it was just... crazy!

I think there is a little romance going on with my two magical gnomes... they are often seen doing things together.


On the topic of relationships.. it looks like Gemma and Jamie's is fully repaired because Gemma is expecting.... again!

*the plus side to this is the house is pretty full so there can't be twins again.. right *worried look*

Oh how fun!! The kids get to go on their first field trip at school!

For those that haven't played with generations yet, nothing really happens with a field trip and to still can't control the sim while they are on them, but they are kinda neat. Every few days there is a new field trip to random places around town. The second half of the normal school day the kids go to the chosen place. They most always come home in great moods because they had fun, some times they get neat objects that can't be bought any other way and sometimes they can even gain a skill from the field trip. So win win all the way round.

More fun is on the way.. the twin Boys are having their birthday!


Jace as a kid gained the snob trait.
