Hey I am still here.. I was not raptured so i figured i might as well update

I heard these horrible agonizing screams and then very dramatic music... panned around to find it and it was a paparazzi lady outside the gate. It seems in her quest to take a scandalous picture of the family she forgot she needed food and starved to death!


She turned into a pile of dust.


Keon was annoyed by the paparazzi, but he was still upset to see that someone died in front of their house.


Moving on to happier news... Gemma is having a birthday!


Here she is after a little make over... she gained the loner trait this time around.


Grover was just too cute to not take a picture of


Ginger's latest sculpture is a little scary if you ask me. i was afraid it would jump out and eat her as soon as she was done!


Gemma is starting to take after Yann and plays in the sprinklers when ever she gets a chance.


Speaking of Yann he's got some mad skills on the guitar now!

And before you think "Oh how cute keon is playing toys with one of the kids".. he is NOT he's playing with the toys by himself.. like usual. There is a pile of toys all in that spot that you can not see.

Keon made sushi that night from fish he caught the other day. Gemma was a little disturbed to find out her food used to be living fish O.O Perhaps we have a vegetarian in the making.


A few nights later it's Flora's birthday!!


Flora does not look so pleased to be old now... nor that she grew up into a moomoo.


Keon = OMG! My wife is OLD!


Here is Flora after a make over... she chopped off all her hair!

Is it bad that I laughed at the death of the paparazzi? ...Yes? I couldn't help it...I was merely thinking of how annoying they are...ok I'm going to stop before I get accused of terrible paparazzi hating.

I think Gemma is quite possibly one of the cutest Sims I've ever seen! She's lovely. It'll be interesting to see her with that loner trait.

I also laughed A LOT when Flora transitioned to an elder and you called her a "moomoo" teehee.

into a moomoo (meaning the dress)... not that she is a moomoo. I donno how it's actually spelled, but that type of nightgown that can also be worn in the day (usually by old people) is called a moomoo. Is a relative of the dresses in Hawaii.

Ohhhh the dress is called a moomoo? Whoops. It's just an old granny dress to me. Apologies if anyone likes those lol...

Grover is having a birthday everyone gather 'round.


Here he is as a kid... I still think he's pretty cute


This family really has bad luck with maids... another one bit the dust. Ginger found her playing with the toys in the kids room instead of putting them away.


One night while having dinner Gemma said to Grandpa Keon that she thought he was too fit and didn't look like her other friends' grandfathers at all!

*yes the family is having cake for dinner. With all the birthdays the fridge is jam packed with left over cake so every once in a while they just eat cake for every meal!

Keon thought long and hard and remembered that when he went out about town with his lovely wife Flora they did get weird stares for her being so much older. So Keon asked the powers that be if he could please grow older so he better matched his beloved wife. He was granted his wish and look how happy he is!


A twist and a turn into a sparkly vortex...


And POOF! He was an elder! He was a little disappointed to have lost all his muscle though.


The fact that he loved Flora so much to give up some of his own life to get to the next stage moved her deeply. After a nice smooch Keon was reminded why he did it and totally forgot about his lost muscle.


Here is Keon after a little make over cause that hair cut had to go!


Keon decided to also give up his LTW (to read level 5 of 4 different jobs) and retired from the police force.


No bigfoot signs this time, but Flora threw some confetti.

As promised.. I am back with another update. I did not finish the legacy before the new EP came out so some time down the line you will notice new EP things.

I start you off with cute old people picture!


Keon is finding t harder and harder to get out of the time machine.


Looks like the rumor mill is at it again :/


Ginger is growing to adult!!


She looks pretty much the same as an adult and still has not trimmed that hair.


Flora went out collecting seeds. She needs some new kinds of plants so she can finish her LTW.


UGH! Even way up in the hills and on private land the paparazzi find her.


I just had to have a closer look at this guys outfit... great job at mixing up an outfit EA... yeah someone would totally wear that.


It's Gemma's turn for a birthday!


Here she is as a teen. She gained the grumpy trait on this birthday and it came out in a little rebellious streak and she dyed her hair tips pink.

Awww cute update! The Warners always seem to have so much cake in their fridge too, but I've just learned to delete it and get some money for the cake after a Sim puts it in the fridge No cake for you, my little Simmies!

Keon and Flora make such a cute elder couple, such a shame Keon lost his muscles though - quite funny that they go POOF just like that.

Ginger got a brand new car for her birthday!


So she drove it into town to the local tattoo shop where she tried to get a tattoo, but the guy said he couldn't do it so she started arguing with him. (Gemma's new grumpiness is really showing up.)
Gemma = I just want some awesome art on my body like the Mona Lisa!


Silly Gemma, didn't realize that was not the tattoo artist, but the other dude that looked just like him was the one that did tattoos. So she goes over to the real tattoo artist and greets him real friendly like.


Then explains how she's just had her birthday and she just really wants a tattoo of a cute little butterfly for her birthday.


Then guy explains to her that she is too young to get a tattoo and Gemma does not take it well.
Gemma = You have made my whole day a big fat black cloud! You have ruined everything!


Meanwhile back at the house... Ginger paints with sparkles now


Gemma came home with out a tattoo and sat down and did her homework with her brother... which was pretty cute cause they were totally in sync!


The next evening Gemma went back into town, but this time went to the local park to see if she could meet some new people... she only found this confused guy o.O


She headed to the beach next thinking more people would be out there, but she ended up just sitting alone for a while.


Gemma got home just in time to see her mother walking around singed! Oh dear seems Ginger was trying to invent again... good thing she put herself out! O.O

I've never seen anyone paint with sparkles before! None of my Sims really touch the easel any more! It's strange, Chris used to use it a lot. Now they'd all much prefer the TV or the sprinkler in the back garden (that one I'm ok with, TV not so much). I'd like to hang some artwork around the Warner residence...

Loved the adventures of Gemma in this update, even if Ginger did get singed!

Starting this one off with a birthday!
Grover = I wish that I don't grow up into the hair that must not be named.


me = Grover, you aren't supposed to say your wish out loud or it wont come true...
And his wish did not come true. I will spare you the picture of Grover in horrible hair and go straight to the make over shot.


This also happened to be Yann's birthday! He's turning adult.


Nothing much changed for him.. just a new hair cut.


Gemma met a new friend at school, Jamie, and went over to his house. She kind of fancies and puts up a front that she is not into love because she doesn't want to scare him away.


After a bit more chatting she learns that they have two traits in common and their signs are compatible.


It has taken most of her life and a lot of hard work but Flora now has the perfect garden and has reached her LTW!!


After the little accident with inventing the other day Ginger has taken a break from that and gone back to sculpting. She is onto topiary sculptures.


The next day after school Gemma went to visit with Jamie, but found instead his cousin Paden who also lives with Jamie.


While chatting they found out they also share a few traits.


Gemma though Paden was also really cute so asked what his sign was and found that he too was compatible with her sign!


Although once Jamie saw his cousin paying attention to Gemma he started thinking about her a little differently.


He started checking her out and flirting with her.


He even gave her a big hug good night when she had to leave!

I really really like Gemma! She gives off a really good vibe (if Sims can do that), and look, she's torn between two men! Ah, what a life...although she's lucky to be able to pick between two men, her virtual life definitely parallels my life hehe.

Congrats on fulfilling Flora's LTW - or should I say congrats Flora for fulfilling your LTW? - I gave up on that one when Edith had it as I just couldn't do it! I'd love to know how you managed to do it though Diz.

Flora was out in her garden every day and any spare waking moment that she didn't need to be doing something else O.O I am surprised she accomplished it myself. I got all the normal seeds to perfect and still had like 3 more species to go to finish the LTW and had no idea how to get seeds of them. Then one day one of her trees randomly dropped a money tree seed and that counted as a new species plant.. Hooray! Then i remembered in her inventory were a bunch of different grapes a past family member had picked in Paris and I had her plant them. Even though there is already a normal grape in the readily available seeds the different kinds of grapes must have counted for different species because after they grew to perfect is when she finished her LTW.
I know there are steak plants and egg plants and I think a fish plant, but I could never figure out how to plant those and was worried I had to figure that out to finish the LTW. This was the first time I have finished the Perfect garden LTW, so I was quite proud.

Oh and since you asked so nicely.... Update time!

Spoiled cake! I know this seems an odd thing to take a picture of but I have yet to see any spoiled cake in the game. My family would leave cake out for ages and it never seemed to spoil and finally this one time it did.


Okay on to other things...
One evening Paden called up Gemma.


I donno if I like this boy so much any more... chatting my my teenaged girl about beds and such!


Dinner was so good Yann didn't want to leave the table even when his bladder told him he should. So when people started washing dishes the sound of rushing water was too much and he.. umm... wet himself :/ I guess the rumors are true this time.


Everyone was a bit grossed out by Yann and he smelled up the kitchen.


Keon had been wondering about the drill thing out in the back yard for some time so he went out and started drilling a bit.


In just a few minutes he hit a couple of underground tunnels!


He decided to jump in and explore. Although his jump in was messed up by some loose dirt and he more fell into the hole than jumped.


He encountered lots of neat things down there.


Thankfully he didn't get lost in the tunnels and was able to find his way back out.


As fun as the tunnels were he didn't want any of the kids to stumble into them and get hurt so he filled the hole back in.

Whoa cool, I didn't know Sims could dig holes and go travelling underground! I had to laugh at the fact Keon encountered a Warden while he was down there lol.

Don't like the fact Paden was talking to Gemma about beds - knew there was a reason I voted for Jamie! hehe.

I had no idea they could dig and find tunnels either! The drill i something you create on the inventing bench. This one was created a few generations back by Viktor and he did a fair amount of drilling with it and only encountered rocks and gems. Is there a reference I am not getting? What is a Warden? I find there are quite a few things EA jokingly references in the Sims and they go right over my head.

Ohhh! None of my Sims have even gone near the inventing bench yet, probably why I haven't come across it yet.

A Warden is like a police officer - usually just an 'officer' generally - they basically care after people and make sure everything is ok. I found it amusing that Keon encountered another human being down there...could it be The Sims 3: Underground??!

I know what a warden is, but I was thinking there was some mystical type game that had Wardens in them and they were something else that the game was referencing. *smacks forehead* This is what I get for playing in the wee hours of the morning. I am sure had I been more awake I would have not tried thinking too much into the warden bit...lol


Okay because Kate updated it put me in the mood to update so here is an update just for Kate.

Got a new pop-up that I had never seen before. My sim wanted to congratulate another sim on getting married! I would not mention anything, but this sim was actually a descendent of my self sim, Dizzy Sparrow, and somewhere in the mix an extra Langdon off spring married in. Also this sim's name happens to be Jackie Sparrow and I think it's awesome that the game named this girl Jackie with having the last name Sparrow. [/babbling]


Ginger has gone back to inventing.. lets hope there are no more accidents like last time...


And she finished her first invention! What ever the heck that is o.O


Keon and Yann AND the gnome "helping" in the garden as usual.


Keon was working out in the living room trying to gain back some of his muscles when the made pulled out her phone and took a picture of him! How rude! Bad form made... you should not photo your employer *cough* EX-employer (now) while they are working out and you are supposed to be working!


Late one night and i mean late.. like 2am!... Ginger was woken up by weird noises outside in the back yard. O.O She went out to look and the maid that had been let go earlier in the day was out playing in the sprinklers! Apparently when she was fired she didn't leave, but had been hanging out around the house all day long!


Oh dear! looks like Ginger should have stopped at the one invention for now.


She ran flaming all the way to the bathroom!


*phew* she was able to put herself out in time.


One day after school Jamie came home with Gemma and she decided he'd been flirting with her maybe he'd changed his mind on love so she tried to kiss him.


and he shoved her away


And left directly after.


Keon saw from inside the house and went out and tried to cheer Gemma up.


Aww.. Keon you are such a good grandfather! Even if you spend most your days in speedos out in the back garden o.O

An update, YAY! Just for me too, double YAY!

Hehehe Jackie Sparrow is an awesome name, imagine if she was the female version of Jack? That thought is making me smile.

That money tree... *looks at it wide-eyed and longingly* it's so awesome that one of your other trees dropped a seed for it, I'd love the Warners to have a money tree...especially when I have the tendency to build houses that are too big for them and then can't furnish due to lack of funds

This made me laugh, only because I can relate to it! And no I haven't been running around taking photos of my employer while they work out. But I won't go into it, it's a story perhaps not suitable for the internet (seeing as it might get people into trouble if it was ever discovered, lol. Not that it's rude or anything like that either).

Have you got a bathroom quite near where the inventing station is placed? I can see a bathroom nearby would be integral seeing as the Langdons seem to set themselves on fire a lot while inventing (ok so I know it's happened to at least two of your Sims now...)

Think I need to make a guest appearance in your game somehow and make Jamie realise what he's missing! Bless Keon though for cheering Gemma up, what a sweetpea.

Yes, there is a full bathroom right in the workshop/inventing room. Which is slightly separate from the house and connected by a little porch type thing.

Right before flora died >.> Oh COME ON! She's an elder.. you know she's gonna die! Anyways in the game right before she died one of my trees dropped another money tree seed, but now no one is skilled enough to grow it so it's being passed down the generations waiting for another master gardener.

I will update tomorrow... err later today after I sleep And after i figure out how to make the site not be small... I need a magnifying glass just to read it now *squints at screen* I think it's even getting smaller as i type this!

LOL I'm sorry but I'm having visions of "the amazing shrinking CF text". I often accidentally alter my font size sometimes by pressing CTRL and then moving the scrolly button thing on my mouse...although I just did it now to test it and now I can't remember what my original text size was >_>; doh!
