As promised another update! This one is a little long.

Yann is working on the charisma part of his LTW and spends a lot of time these days in the bathroom practicing fake speeches. I have no clue who he thinks he'd ever give a speech to though. o.O


The family was all getting a bit stir crazy so they decided to spend the day at the beach! Instead of using the mini van or even taking multiple cars they all thought it best to pile into Gemma's itty bitty two seater.


Keon and Yann did some fishing just like when Yann was younger.


Ginger caught up on her reading.


And Flora took a nice nap.


Gemma and Grover were wondering what to do when Paden showed up.


He started flirting with Gemma right off and giving her his smolder look.


Which made her heart pitter patter.


Encouraged by the flirting Gemma swooped in for a shy little kiss... and was NOT shoved away!


My poor accidental famous family. Can't go anywhere and not be bothered... soon the paparazzi showed up.
Ginger: I am going to just stand here and do nothing till you leave. *stares at*


Thankfully he got bored with Ginger and wandered off to see what Yann and Keon were up to because this might have been a little embarrassing.


Paden was a little shocked that Ginger was still going to eat the burnt food


But didn't want to be rude so had a bit himself.


Gemma: So Paden, I am the heir to this family, which means I have to have kids. Are you prepared to have kids?
Paden: *cough-choke-sputter*


Thankfully he was saved from having to actually answer her by other family members sitting down with their own burnt food. Oh and of course let's not forget paparazzi dude. Paden is a bit pleased with himself being seen with this famous family though.


They ended the day sitting around a fire on the beach and watching the sun set.
Yann: Ginger looks so beautiful by fire light... we should have another baby.

Glad you got your problem sorted out! I have to admit I actually read this update last night, but am commenting today - I'm in a Sims frame of mind in the mornings, Star Trek at night!!

I'm updating again! I have been in a Sims mood, playing quite a bit too. Although I am a little peeved some things I bought off the sim store (which I knew I should not waste the money, but I wanted them) are not showing up in my game. *grumble grumble* I have updated my game and everything. Gonna try and figure it out today what is going wrong, but though first I'd give you all an update.
I have actually combined the next two updates cause they were both not too long and not a whole lot happens in either of them.

I have to say this town is getting really jealous of the attention the Langdons get because almost every day there is a new slew of rumors floating about.


So mean and hurtful


Flora got a message one morning that she is being given a reward for her gardening skills!


What an honor!


Gemma needed to get out of the house for a while so she headed to the park across the street and soon Jamie showed up at the park.


Gemma tried out some teen-emo flirting on him.
Gemma: Seeing you brightens my black rain cloud to gray.


Jamie seemed flattered so Gemma thought to try her luck and leaned in for a little kiss.


That little kiss was received well and lead to a lot of kissing and embracing.


I guess Gemma should have tried the more dark emo approach sooner. Check out where Jamie works! I have never seen this job before O.O and especially not for a teen!


Jamie had a great time hanging out with Gemma ;D


Keon, I know you are trying to get back some of your muscles, but could you please choose and activity that does not cause sweat to fly off of you like that.


The family has recently been getting a lot of free things and usually I just ignore them as it's usually things the family already has, but today i decided to check. Look at all that loot! The family resold it and made a nice chunk of change.. not that they needed it.


Ginger discovered a new invention! O.O What the heck is it?


One morning just after breakfast Flora started floating... awww no!


With a pop and a burst of sparkles she transformed into a ghost.


Grimmy doesn't take too long to show up.


Flora decides she is ready to go. She has lead a good life, had two wonderful husbands, seen her children and grandchildren grow and accomplished her life long dream of having the perfect garden.


The family plot at the cemetery is really filling up!


Keon doesn't have much gardening skills, but he's trying to take care of Flora's garden as best he can to keep her memory alive.


Meanwhile Gemma is more torn and confused than ever.

Hehe me too! I think it's because Generations has just come out and I'm all excited looking for the new additions to the game! Although I'm trying to resist the urge to move the Warners to another lot...I have got to stop moving them. The same thing has happened to me! I had some Simpoints to use up (still hadn't redeemed the ones I got free with the base game and I think the first EP) so I decided to buy the new contemporary stuff. Only I installed it yesterday, looked at my game installer today and it's telling me it hasn't been installed! Even though my eyes say otherwise - and my brain, I remember installing them! Grrrrrrr.

Looking at those pop-ups at the start of the legacy it seems as if the Langdons have some enemies spreading those rumours! Although I don't know if that's how it works...evil Sims! *shakes fist* (wow, second fist shake in as many days!)

LOL awesome! And it worked! If I ever want an emo boyfriend I now know how to get one! hehe. As for the mausoleum job it's quite creepy! One of the Warner boys had that as his part-time job, I've actually had quite a few teens do that job as there doesn't seem to be much else.

Look at all those free things! I want free things! I'm actually going to have to check the Warner inventory when I next play - I have a feeling I've been storing things in there and I can't remember what they are!

Ginger's new invention looks like the buttons on the inside of an elevator! Although when you don't have an elevator in the house I'm not sure how much use that is Just sayin'!

I am updating again!!

A friend of Grover's was over after school and asked Ginger for an autograph! I find it a bit annoying that people close to the family get all star struck still.


Yann was feeling bad for Keon having just lost Flora so he used the mood-whatcha-call-it and cured him.


Leon is still keeping up with Flora's gardening schedule and going out first thing in the mornings to tend the plants.


The gnome has a habit of blocking the shower... not cool little dude.. not cool


I would like to apologize for the following...


IT'S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!! Unless you think it looks like a pile of ashes then it is what it looks like, but I can explain!!!


While playing I needed to make a run to the bathroom. I SWEAR I paused the game! Anyways while in the bathroom I hear this horrible screaming and it takes a minuted to sink in what it is O.O I quickly finish washing up and run back to my computer to find Ginger on fire in the inventing room! I send her to the shower to extinguish herself, but it was too late. She made it to the bathroom, but not into the shower before she perished.


One of the things I miss from the old game is how someone could plead with Grimmy for the dead's soul and if they won they could come back to life. I wish they had not gotten rid of that. Knowing he could do nothing Yann still ran to the workshop to try and stop ol' Grimmy... and that jerk Grimmy was Please with the death!


Awww.. poor Yann. I am sorry


When Yann went to the cemetery to place Ginger's headstone in the family plot he saw Ghost Marcellette getting up and taking off in a car. o.O


Over the next two days Yann went around the house trying to cure everyone including himself.


I live you on a lighter note... the two gnomes have become friends it seems and often do things together... like watch romance movies.

Oh my god, RIP Ginger! Not pausing the game when you think you've paused the game is the worst thing ever! I did it once but luckily no one died...

I love how Yann tries to fix everyone, even himself! It's so sweet, bless him. He must be so sad though

He is... we all were. I liked Ginger and they had been planning to have another kid. I was so mad at myself for not double checking the game was paused. I would have *cough*cheated*cough* and quit with out saving to bring her back, but I had been playing a long time since the last save and a bunch had happened and I didn't want to lose all that.

Birthday time in then Langdon house!


I can't tell if Gemma is just really excited to be getting older of if she's singing this song, either way she looks happy.


Here is Gemma after her young adult make over. I have to say she is my favorite EVER (so far) sim, and I can't believe she was born in game! Also she randomly gained the artist trait.


The left over cake had just barely been put in the fridge when all of the sudden Keon noticed he felt a lot lighter on his feet.


Keon passed into ghost-dom much like the rest of the family when it was their time.


Even though he had not even come close to finishing his LTW he was ready to go too... he missed his wife.


Moving things along... Gemma got a new room and redecorated so it was over flowing with her favorite color, red.


The next day she went round to visit either Jamie or Paden... not hard to do they live together. When she got there she saw that Jamie had had birthday too and was now a young adult. Gemma thought that settled the problem she would be with Jamie because he was old enough for her.... even if he was now wearing a horribly ugly sweater.


Of course things would not be that easy. Gemma turned when she heard her named called and found that Paden had also grown up!


Ginger tells them her sad news that her mother just died the other day and last night her grandfather died


Paden comforted her and let her cry on his shoulder


Jamie had a different method for comforting her though.


Hmmmmm..... wonder who she should choose?!?!

I have to agree with you 100%, Gemma is lovely. Have you thought of... *grins sweetly* ...sharing her?! I'd love to put her in my game - especially when the next gen rolls around (although perhaps not Rupert's gen, I've already picked my heir and said heir is practically married). Then if I have a male heir I could see about working a Langdon into the Warner family

I also now have "pink fluffy unicorns dancing on rainbows" stuck in my head. *sings* (lol I actually started singing it in real life as soon as I typed *sings*)

Look at Gemma's room! It looks quite gothic, uh oh, better be watching out for those vampires...

And yes, you know how I feel about you leaving this update on such a cliffhanger like that. All that is left to say is...



Oh. I forgot something else. Correct me if I'm wrong, but did you say something about store content not showing up in your game?! I had the same problem and I've managed to fix it! If you're still having problems let me know...I can drop you a PM as my explanation might become a bit long-winded and clutter up your thread.

LOL! I did see that, but I have not gone back into my game today since reading about your interest in Gemma. It takes 40 minutes for my game to load, play time has to really be planned out.

40 minutes??! Gosh! And I thought I was miffed about my loading time. Well the initial loading time is fine, but loading the Warners takes about five minutes...I usually manage to fit a game of solitaire in or make myself a cup of tea while they load.

wow! For me it is the other way around. Loading the main game doesn't take too long.. only about 10 minutes, but loading the actual family is what takes forever. And of course just getting the launcher to start up can take another 15 minutes
LOL.. I am usually able to make and eat a meal in the time it takes for the whole thing to load.
