Ok, I officially think Jace is my favourite kid of this generation so far. He grew up really cute (that fire-coloured hair is so great!) and he tells his imaginary friend the best secrets: "My dad likes to fart!" LOL.

I love all of the field trips the kids get to go on! Some of the pop-ups which come up whilst they are visiting these places are really funny. Although it feels like the Warner kids go on field trips every day! Hehe.

Yeah it seems like every other day my kids are off on a field trip. Something I have noticed that REALLY annoys me is the game now randomly has kids skip school. A lot of times on field trip day and I will get a pop up saying "Kid-name skipped school on a field trip day" And it's saying it as a bad thing. But when i got to where the kid is he is either IN school or with the rest of the other kids AT the field trip location. o.O
I know it is Generations trying to make more memory things, but I wish it would at least wait till one of the kids actually skipped school.

It's so weird having invisible things around the house. Half the time the kids like they have lost their mind and are playing and talking to themselves...


But when you switch to them you see they are not alone.


Gemma has become a little worried that her boys tend to talk to themselves a lot.

Gemma: Dude.. you stink! If you can't even take care of yourself how can I expect you to keep my house clean, I'm sorry but we are letting you go.


The dolls have very stalker like qualities at times.


O.O Whoa! Dude! Personal space!


But it's sure does look silly some times.




This one was a bit of a shock. I had Jace doing his homework and was busy with other things around the house and came back and selected Jace to find his doll looming over him O.O


I was glad to see they turn back into motionless dolls at night time when the kids are sleeping. It would give me nightmares as an adult to think that a doll was standing over me watching me sleep... can't think what kind of damage it would do to a kid's mind.


Jamie spends a lot of time watching his new favorite reality cooking show competition called Chopped! (real show.. I love it!)


And Yann want's 10 grandkids! I don't think so buddy!

So sorry for totally poofing on you guys! i have had a bit of a busy summer! I had people from out of town with me for a while. Then was doing things with family that lives here and then I went back home to Cali for a week to visit with my mom because i had not seen her in over a year!
I am back now and I have some awesome news. I BOUGHT A NEW COMPUTER!!! I am so excited! My current computer is 6 and half years old and just getting really slow and not able to handle doing the things I want to do with it any more. My new computer is currently being built and should be here the first week or so of October. The great thing about the new computer is it will have kick ass graphics... a Nvidia GTX 580 card. I have been reading up on that one and wanting it for a while and according to the people over at Newegg it a top line card so should last me for years to come.

Why is this good news for you lot... it means I am going to start update bombing the rest of this family story to finish before the new computer gets here. Also with the new graphics and gobs of RAM the new computer has it will be fun for me to play Sims again. YAY! I have been wanting to play for a while, but then I think about the 30-40 minute loading time and change my mind.

In the next day or so i will start updating again. Not tonight.. I am heading to bed early because i broke a toe and my whole foot is killing me so i can't sit at the computer for too long cause it all keeps swelling. (not that any of you really wanted to know that )

Again... so sorry for not updating and not being around for so long.

Okay so I am a horrible liar! But I promise I'll start updating soon. I am just so addicted to a new game called Glitch.

My computer is coming TODAY! It was not meant to ship till even the 3rd! So excited!! But a little scared.. I have not even started to copy info onto discs because i think I have a little over a week more till it would be here. I only have one screen for computers and I KNOW as soon and I get the other I'm gonna want to plug it in.

It's taking a lot longer than I thought to set up my new computer and transfer over my old info. I was smart enough to grab my folder of pictures from the story before I unplugged the old computer, but I don't have photoshop yet. My mom bought it for me (YAY), but it's taking forever to get here. When it does I can start fixing all the pictures and then posting the rest of the family story.

Congrats on your new computer Diz!! I bet it's lovely! Nothing beats the feeling of a shiny new computer. I'm starting to get the itch to upgrade mine, but I don't have the money (and probably won't have for a while!) so am trying to keep the 'itch' at that level before it explodes into a 'OMG I HAVE TO GET A NEW COMPUTER'.

And this is SO weird but I am addicted to Glitch too! I only started playing this morning though. I was talking about it at a book festival a few weeks ago with this guy I met there...I forgot all about it but then I somehow remembered it yesterday! I thought I wrote his avatar name down but I can't find it anywhere! Oh well.

If anyone wants me, I'll be playing Glitch.

P.S. It's so weird looking at TS3 photos when I haven't looked at them for ages!

My Glitch name is Magalie.

I'll be doing a lot of skilling today as I'm at work (I can set up some of the longer ones and then by the time my lunch rolls around hopefully I can set up another!), and hopefully I'll be able to load the site on my mobile phone!

But it's scary how addictive it is, and I've only been playing it for a day!

YAY!! Photoshop arrived today!
I didn't get a chance to install it yet though cause a friend came over after work. So tomorrow (my friday woo!) I'll have time to install PS and then I can start resizing pictures and fix them up to post.

OMG AN UPDATE!



Jaslyn is so pretty! She's really striking, sure to stand out from the crowds with her bright green eyes! Jack (the 2nd) is super cute too - what with his big brown eyes and floppy, dirty blonde hair!

I laughed at Jamie's boss's bribery... is that bad? Although I'd be screaming the place down too if I got locked in a freezer.

Oh dear, looks like my teens are getting moody. Jaslyn woke up feeling extra rebellious today.


lol... some of the things the game considers note worthy for a memory is funny. Apparently mood swings make the list.


Even just getting untangled from her blanket set Jaslyn off


Meanwhile her sister Jannah is a good daughter and helps out with baby Jack.


These imaginary friends are getting on my nerves. Most often they are jsut in the way.


If only they were more amusing like the magic gnomes... which I found out front playing charades. lol

I really love the angry facial expressions which appear during the teen's mood swings! Although like you I too disagree with some of the wants they roll...I must admit I can't remember wanting to beat someone up when I was in a bad mood!

I also like the imaginary friends! Annoying sometimes, but it's funny watching the kids talking to thin air when an adult is your selectable.

Sorry I mean to update before now, but my internet has been horrible the last few days. Randomly it keeps dropping off and during the night it does it ever few minutes... very frustrating.

We come back to the Langdons with Gemma teaching Jace to drive.


Later that day the kids all headed to the park to see if they could find dates for the up coming dance at school.


Jace was attracted to one lady... I am sure it was because she's a movie star and NOT because she was parading around town in only a towel O.O


There was one teen boy at the park and Jannah chatted him up.


But he had to run off to do something before she could ask him out.


Jaslyn had a bit of a melt down from not finding a guy.


On the way home Jace noticed the new neighbors out and saw they had a daughter about his age. He went over and introduced himself..


And then asked her if she'd go to the dance with him. She said yes.


Just then Jace realized it was a minute past curfew and those stupid psychic cops some how knew to drive down his PRIVATE AND SECLUDED street just at that moment. Even thought Jace was just a cross the street from his own home the cops tried to arrest him... Jace thought that was unfair and thought if he could just get home all would be well.


No such luck. Just as he got in his yard the cops pulled up and forced him to come back out. He was arrested and his parents contacted. Jamie was not happy with Jace at all.


And even though the almighty controller thought it was really way too harsh to punish the kid because he was technically home Jamie still grounded him.


Poor Jace... the only kid to actually get a date and he just got grounded

Did you happen to download Gemma when I put her up? If so, is there any chance you could pass a copy of her back to me? She was my all time fave (so far) sim and all my files are on my other computer still and no way to get them off. The original download link has expired.

Wow, TS3 has some pretty strict curfew rules...poor Jace. No need for the police to get involved in this case! *shakes fist* Curse you, psychic TS3 police!

Now Jace is grounded...and he's the only one to have gotten a date, sob! How unfair...I got a really weird prom request in game, and it'll eventually crop up in the Warner updates when I get my butt into gear and update more.

Also - you totally know Jace was attracted to that lady because she was in a towel! *giggles*
