The last movie i watched was Lars and the Real Girl it's kinda quirky and quiet and just all around odd o.O I had never heard of it till a few nights ago when I was over at my brother's and my sister-in-law said it was cute and i should borrow it. I'm still not quite sure what to think of the movie though :/ So i can't recommend to see it or not.

I know that feeling Dizz, when you're not quite sure what you thought of a film.. I've had that before, it's annoying! I watched The Little Mermaid before I went to sleep the other night! Hehe. Gotta love a bit of Disney And it's got some awesome songs in it...

On Wednesday I watched Made of Honour... It was alright but nothing spectacular... And I couldn't help thinking it was a little similar plot-wise to My Best Friend's Wedding...

Coraline! Not in 3D though... but it was pretty good and I had wanted to see it in 3D as I have heard it's the best 3D people have ever seen, but then I have heard just as many people say that the 3D aspects did make you not pay attention to the story as much, so I am fine with not having seen it in 3D. It's a cute movie and has very cool effects for being with puppets.

I haven't heard of that one Dizz...
Last night I went to see The Watchmen. My boyfriend liked it but I thought it was far too long and a bit hard to follow.. not what I expected from watching the trailers really.

LOL! I watche coralione in 3-D. think for the most part that once you get used to it, you don't really notice that it's there. it does kinda add a nice aspect to it, but other than that there really wasn't anything to it. However the actualy glasses themselves started to rub on the bridge of my nose and hurt me. LOL!
The movie itself was very good, but disturbing. I like it! ;D

Watched Brokeback Mountain the other day!
Then yesterday night I went to go see 17 Again with some friends... very cheesy in places and I seemed to guess the storyline, but I've never actually realised how cute Zac Efron is!! Am telling myself not to crush on him though, can't quite get past HSM *shudders*

I finally got to go to the movies yesterday. We went to see Knowing which starred Nicolas Cage it was pretty good with a pretty odd ending kind of a sad and happy ending. It was an Action/Sci-fi/Thriller is how I'd describe it.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince!
Finally got to go see it. I liked it but then i am a big Harry Potter fan. I am in the process of reading the books, haven't made it to half Blood prince yet though... just started order of the Phoenix. Even with out reading that book the movie *did* feel a bit rushed and liek a LOT of things were cut out, but I still liked it. it has a totally different feel to it than the other movies. I realize now that Voldemort is free and on the loose that the movie and story line would take on a darker fell... but the whole style of the movie is different. I didn't look but it must be another director or something.

Yeah, they've changed directors like 4 times now or something rediculous like that. However, the Half Blood Prince was very true to the book. There were odds and ends left out and a few things were changed (which i thought was perfectly fine). Overall, it was one of the better ones both as a pretty good representation of the book and as a movie unto itself.

I went to go and see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince last week. I didn't think it was that good, to be perfectly honest.
In my opinion, quite a few scenes from the book that I thought integral weren't included in the film... I was SO excited to see the Harry/Draco bathroom scene, and although it was good, it did not meet my high expectations.
Am so sad Star Trek is not showing in cinemas any more... I am having withdrawal symptoms. *nervous twitch*

I have been disappointed from the beginning of the Harry Potter movies. They can change directors as much as they like, but why is it that they ALL miss 'important' bits of the book ..they did the same with Twilight...grr..its very annoying. Though other then agreeing you with you completely Kate...i did still enjoyed it. (Sound like a hypocrite now LOL)

Directors don't say what scene from the book will or wont be in the movie. That is all done by the screen writter who adaptes the book to a movie script. Also the finishes screen play HAS to be okayed by the original writer. Now reading the Harry Potter books i can see what they left out, but for the most part it's been okay things and easy to see it had to be changed for the movie because you just don't have a 700 page book translated word for word to a movie. The Screen writer for the Twilight serious should just quit the profession now though.... they suck and they I am sure have already ruined the second movie as they did the first. What's mroe is i can't believe that Stephanie Meyer okayed what they did to her wonderful book!

Just saw "My Sisters Keeper". I love Jodi Picolat (sp) and was so excited when i saw a movie of hers was coming out. I enjoyed the movie (as best as movies can be to books, which was of course so much better) but was SO disappointed with the ending!!! I wont say why for those who want to watch the movie or read the book. I was disappointed because it was NOTHING like the ending of the book (which was a shock to me). Once again i find myself wondering why i get excited over movies that are based on books, when i come away feeling completely disappointed and annoyed!!
