Watched Transformers on a Blu-ray disk not a bad movie had seen it before but this was the first time in High Def. Relatively attractive lead actress also makes the movie pleasant to watch

I was ill last week so I was subjected to some old black and white films that get shown here during the day. One I watched was Appointment in London, which I actually quite enjoyed.

I just watched Mama Mia my mom bought it and sent it to me. It's really cute, though I never saw the broadway musical so i donno how closely they followed it. So if you like musicals I would suggest watching it.. and if you like ABBA music (though a lot of you are too young to know it I am sure.. as it was a bit before my time as well ;P ).

I just watched My Best Friend's Wedding. That was quite good too.. though the fashion and the mobile phones were probably the most interesting/amusing part!

we watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button last night. The movie was done in very good taste. For those who have the "eye" for art the movie is great. But my sisters were kinda bored, some scenes for them are not needed in the story..

Have seen Slumdog Millionaire twice now, thoroughly enjoyed it both times. Such a great film, really opens your eyes to what happens in different places around the world. I highly recommend it

On Friday my friend and I saw Twilight... didn't like it. Was not as good as the book! Cut so much out This saddens me I wanted to see this movie sooo bad! I like vampires and this looked promising from the trailers... I never got a chance to see it while it was in theaters though. Then for Christmas i got the book and LOVED it.. it's a great book.. i couldn't put it down and i read it in 3 days! Loved it so much i went out the very next day after just starting it and bought the other 3 books in the story (I am half way through the 4th book now). After finding the book was so great I really wanted to see the movie, but it wasn't playing anymore.... >.> I found most of it on youtube (before it was taken down that is) and saw pretty much most the movie.. well enough to know they RUINED it Not only that but the girl that played Bella really sucks as an actress o.O *sighs* And when you get right down to it.. i donno why they cut out so much of the important things they did... or changed the story.. it's not liek they ran out of time.. the movie is over 2 hours long O.O I have not heard of Slumdog Millionaire.. I'll have to look it up if it comes highly recommended The last movie i watched was Tin Man It was actually a mini series on the sci fi channel a few years ago... my mom really liked it and bought it (which is odd). When I moved she gave it to me and the other day when i was bored i watched it for the first time. It's interesting... and I like the lead actress that plays D.G. The reason it's really odd my mom liked it is cause it was really sci fi-y and my mom usually doesn't like things liek that... heck she can't even say "sci fi" right she says "sky fi" o.O

Totally agree Diz - the girl who played Bella was absolutely useless. She looked borderline depressive most of the time, and when she was happy it just looked... odd. I couldn't believe how many kids would come into the book store (I work in a book store) and buy Twilight as they were raving about the film... just hope these kids can see that the book is 2859347698347 times better than the film. So I've seen a lot of films recently to try and take my mind off of uni >_< First up was He's Just Not That Into You, which I never got to see the end of as the film broke. We were about three quarters of the way through when the screen went blank and the lights came up. My friends and I got a refund though, so it's alright. Next up I saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - ohhhhh that was SOOOOOOO good. A bit long, but I think the quality of the film made up for that. As much as I like Cate Blanchett it annoyed me how she kept losing the accent she used in the film. Finally I watched Shirley Valentine - released in 1989 - about a woman who is bored with her life and goes abroad to Greece to find herself. I really enjoyed this, it was very funny, and so British also

I was enjoying it! Although I was annoyed with one of the female characters - if you go and see it you'll see what I mean! And also you'll be able to tell me how it ends, hehe.

Oh jeez. Well i won't make comments on Twilight at all. Leavin' it at that. But last week is watched Eagle Eye. So good!!!! I thought the computer was really creepy though..... O.o So recently my family has gotten into Quintin Terrintino films (I just mutilated his name). We watched Resuevoire Dogs and Pulp Fiction. Both great movies, very violent and bloody, but just such great plot lines. They're also pretty funny too!
