OMG has it really been over three months since I last updated??! Yes??! Shame on me... Well, here's a SUPER BIG update to make up for it.

The Warner Legacy: Update 2.11

Who was this again? Oh, it's Dorian, right. Jeez it's been ages since I played them as toddlers

I think it was my mission to take a photo of every child in this legacy looking cute in the toybox. Well, if it wasn't my mission...it is now (as of 16/09/2010).



Now, you may think these two are friends...but is that evil lurking behind Phoenix's eyes?

Nah, I'm just trying to stir up trouble. These two love each other really.

Phoenix: Aw, I love you, man.



Normie and his father can often be found chasing one another in the front garden (at the dead of night also).

Normie: Come on Dad! Chase me! Chase meeeeee!
Chris: I...*puff*...just n-need...*puff*
Normie: Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad!!
Chris: Let me...*puff*...catch my...breath...

I thought you were supposed to be Mr Fit, Chris? After all, we have seen your bulging muscles.



When he's not chasing his father around the front garden, Normie can be found reading trashy romance novels.

Normie: Whaat?! I'm researching! At least this way I'll know how to act towards the ladies when I'm older.



While Phoenix and Edith sit inside...



...Chris and Normie sit outside. Wouldn't it be nice if you ate a family dinner together, guys??! (Normie looks really scary here.)



I can't remember if I've ever posted pictures of this before...but Edith picked up this tomb from one of her trips in Egypt Al Simhara!

Since placing it on the lot, she is usually the one sleeping in it...although I don't know why she prefers to sleep in an upright position when she could be in a nice, warm, comfortable bed with her husband



Oh, hey Dorian. I know you're asleep...but it doesn't matter. Sorry we haven't seen much of you. I do like your Mummified teddy bear though.



Edith is slowly working her way upwards in the Culinary career...so much so that she's finally got a sweet carpool to work!

It's such a shame she isn't having as much progress towards her lifetime want. Damn you, perfect garden LTW!



Phoenix...? Uh, it's dark out, and probably cold. Why are you on the swings...in your swimming trunks?!



EEP! Ok Phoenix, please don't answer that question, just pretend I'm not here and stop pulling that face, ok???!



Oh, Phoenix, were you looking angry because it's time for your birthday?

Birthdays are joyous occasions. Just look at your mother's face.



Phoenix: I wish...I wish for more opportunities to go outdoors at night in my swimming trunks!



Phoenix: YEAH I transitioned into new swimming trunks, my wish is coming true! The Sim!Gods heard me!
Me: No, Phoenix, you were just conveniently already in your swimming trunks.
Phoenix: I AM SO HAPPY I'M BURPING SPARKLES.



Hm. Phoenix seems to have inherited his dad's nose and lips. He's not the most handsome Sim I've seen...but he could be worse. Hehe.

Anyways he rolled the trait Absent-minded upon transitioning to Teen.
He's certainly got some interesting traits!

And that concludes our SUPER LONG update for today.
I hope you enjoyed seeing the Warners again...don't worry, I haven't abandoned this legacy...yet. LOL just kidding I'm not going to abandon it unless my game dies.

an update!! Yay and yer pictures look amazing even if they only half loaded for me the first few times I think Phoenix looks nice as a teen and at least he's not making that creepy smile like he was on the swings O.O

I love the idea of taking pictures of all the kids in the toy box, makes me want to start something similar.

And where the heck did you get the mummy bear?!

LOL sorry about the half-loady pictures...I forgot how I used to save them in photoshop and consequently made them huge The next few might still be huge but should get better soon as I've made them smaller

katie: I took inspiration from my nephew for that one...in the summer he was squeeling "Chase me! chase me!" at me, so now whenever I read those words back I hear him saying it hehe.

My game hasn't died...yet! Although I did manage to corrupt my save file the other day, thank god the game backs it up either wise I would have lost the Warners!

@diz: I noticed that I keep taking photos of the kids in the toy box so I thought, hey, why not make a thing of it? It's super cute anyway so I guess they'll make good pictures.

Also the Mummy Bear is from one of Edith's adventures to Al Simhara...you can buy it from one of the clerks there, the Warners have so much Al Simhara-themed stuff in their house it's unbelievable!

Uh...guys...what are you doing? Haven't you had enough kids?

Edith: We just want to try for that girl...
Chris: Yeah! Edith probably won't get pregnant anyway...



Phoenix seems to be ringing true on his want to appear in his swimming trunks all the time



Oh, Edith, now you've gone and done it.

THIS IS THE LAST CHILD OF THIS GENERATION, OK? NO MORE. The household is positively bursting.



Later that day Edith does the spinny-thing and changes into her maternity wear...which happens to be all pink. I didn't realise she was going for the camouflaged look to blend in with the bushes



Edith: Uh, honey, why are you wearing your sunglasses? It's 8PM. The sun went in hours ago.
Chris: I have to wear them. You are blinding me with your sparkle.

I think I only saved this because Doo Peas makes me laugh. This would have been a perfect opportunity for Normie, it's a shame Phoenix doesn't have the genius trait hehe. Oh well, I'm not turning down some extra cash for the household kitty...

The family manage to break the TV and a repair-woman with hair like Edith comes in to fix it. But before she goes I notice that she is having angry thoughts about Phoenix...

Repair-woman: Phoenix is the worst! I hate him. Stupid little boy...it doesn't matter that he hasn't done anything to provoke my anger! I shall just hate him forever and ever and ever and ever and-
Dorian: I think I am going to go play on my xylophone.



Edith: ...uh oh. I think baby's coming.

lol when i first saw the picture with Edith sitting on the couch and he odd face it made me think she was thinking how she is surrounded by boy children and worried the next one will be a boy as well. And kinda like... "man I have three kids do i want to really do this again"
Anyways.. that is what i got.

BOO @ the repair woman! Not only is she copying Edith's style but she is hating on Phoenix What's the deal lady?!

The Warner Legacy: Update 2.13

So, the last time we saw the Warners, Edith was just going into labour...



Chris is having a major panic attack about his wife, as per usual of Sims

Chris: OH MY GOD NOT AGAIN IT HURTS TO SEE MY WIFE IN SO MUCH PAIN ALTHOUGH REALLY I SHOULD BE USED TO IT BY NOW OOOOOOOH WHEN WILL THIS END BUT HEY THIS PICTURE MAKES MY ARMS LOOK HUGE HELLO BIG MUSCLES



They get to the hospital to find another prospective father having a panic attack outside...not to mention he looks a bit like Chris in a way. I think it's the hair. Perhaps Chris will look like that when he hits the elderly life stage?



Oh my...is that a pink bundle I see before me?? Does that mean that Edith and Chris FINALLY had a girl?

...Yes it does. YAAAAAAAAAAY. Meet Naomi Warner everyone!

Edith: What am I supposed to do with a girl? D:



Normie, after seeing his Mum & Dad run off to the hospital and then come home with his little baby sister, decides to roll the option to pick his lifetime want (already!).

Consider it picked, Normie. I would like to see a sexy doctor in the family



...So, what does Edith seem to do every time she gives birth to a child?

Go to Al Simhara of course! Here she is, hanging with her best friend, Mummy. Although I'm not sure if she knows that Mummy is behind her, and considers her a best friend.

Edith: There is someone behind me? I don't think I want to turn around.



Edith: OOOOO, sparkly treasure.
Mummy #2: I'm gonna eat your brains.
Me: I thought zombies did that?
Mummy #2: They do. Mummies aren't supposed to, but I think the reason you said that is because you have this song in your head.



Edith: YAY BIG SCARY MUMMY!

Edith, you never fail to astound me. You're supposed to be a coward, therefore why are you clapping in excitement? Argh.



See, that's what you get when you let your heart win when you encourage friendship with a Mummy. Mummies do not want friendship. They want to curse you.



I rest my case.

The Warner Legacy: Update 2.14

Edith gets home from her holiday/vacation in Al Simhara and whips this snake charming basket out of her pocket (how the hell did something that big fit into her pocket??!).

My advise to any simmer out there: don't do it! Don't get your sim get one. It drives me so crazy I have to turn my volume down



It happens to be time for Naomi's birthday, woo!



She looks like a boy



Here we go!

So, Naomi rolled the traits Insane and Evil...I can see she's going to be a fun child to look after! hehe.

All the children seem to have inherited Chris's lips, sigh.



Speaking of Christopher, since he has muscles the size of the world, he likes to boss Phoenix around while the poor lad is using the treadmill. Obviously Chris is trying to make sure someone carries on with the large muscles in the family!



...And soon it is time for Dorian's birthday. Yay for not much happening!



Phoenix happens to be the only one who turns up to the birthday party...aww...poor Dorian.



Dorian: Well, hay thar, guyz.



In addition to his other traits he rolls Kleptomaniac, heh. The insane and kleptomaniac traits should make an interesting combination!

Dorian is also such a cute little boy. I don't know where he got his eye colour from though!



I notice that Edith's lifespan seems to be dwindling, so I make her eat life fruit

Mwahahahaha I just wanted to make her last longer...she is my founder after all



*shrug* I just like Naomi's "evil" pyjamas.



Another birthday, yay! At least everyone has actually decided to make an appearance for this one...and it's because it's the lovely Normie who's transitioning to teenagerhood (lol that's not a word).





Normie: I don't feel any different...?
Phoenix: How come Normie transitioned into cool clothes? Hmpf...also that hair looks better on him than anyone else I've ever seen before...hmmmpfff.
Christopher: MY SON IS A HUNK.



NORMIE I LOVE YOU.

In all honestly I really do like Normie. He's my favourite so far, sorry Phoenix. So, the last trait he rolls is the Workaholic trait. That'll go well with the Genius trait. But, uh, the others...

Ohh! Naomi transitioned into the same odd skirt/pant thing all my girl toddlers have been transitioning into. Is that a maxis piece of clothing? or something I picked up somewhere and really can't remember?? The first few times I saw it i thought my game was bugged because it looked odd with a lot of things. Also i think Naomi looks cute as a toddler can't wait to see how she looks when older and how those insane evil traits work out for you.

Poor Dorian... gaining the klepto trait and already having the good trait.. seems to me those two would contradict one another, but maybe that's why he's insane... the inner battle over good and doing things that are very not good (i.e. stealing). Although the contradictions seem to run in your family... Normie being a couch potato, but a work-a-holic... those don't seem like they would mesh out well either....lol

So far i have to agree that Normie is my favorite, well other than Naomi with those awesome pjs.

I just noticed the painting in the kitchen... it makes me want to tilt it to the left a little bit to make the ground straight, but then the frame would be out of whack D:

I think it's a piece of EAxis clothing, either that comes in game or from the store. I can't remember which! But all of the times I've seen it in game, it looks really odd.

Their traits seem to go from one extreme to the other! Each kid seems to have two traits that may work somewhat well together...but then they have one which is completely different to throw a spanner in the works.

Do you mean the hair I put him into after his transition? If so it's by Peggy...might take me a while to hunt for that link so bear with me
