Just a note: My images are .PNGs. Sorry for the slow loading time...The Warner Legacy: Update 1.0 Pretty house... Pretty small, boxy legacy house!  Hi guys! From here on, you shall be reading the Warner Legacy.  This is my legacy founder! Her name is Edith Warner, and her stats are not any different from what it describes on the image. Her initial Lifetime Want was to grow 10 (??) perfect plants all at the same time, which I found to be quite hard. Therefore I later changed her LTW to what it is now. She also enjoys listening to French music, Veggie Burgers are her absolute favourite, and the colour orange is her outlook on life. Happy days.  Edith: Is this 'legacy' thing going to be any fun? You have no idea  Here is a picture of the scenic view from Edith's house.  So, Edith heads to a community lot to try and spy her potential husband and father of her children. A group of Sims decide to rally round her...didn't realise I gave her the Popularity trait. Edith: Hi, I'm Edith! I've just moved into the shiny new house a few blocks away. YAY! Blond guy whose name I've forgotten: I have a thought bubble about to emerge from my head.  Cornelia (sp?) Goth: I am a Goth, I like the colour black, my hair is purple and my personality can be compared to a cloudy day. I am probably not going to be one of the happiest people you know.  Edith: That's funny! I'm like a ray of sunshine...so much so that people need sunglasses to protect themselves from my awesome! Cornelia Goth: ...D:  I can't think of anything witty for the moon bubble.Oh ho ho ho, I've got one now! (Months after I first posted this on CF.) Parker: Baby, you're so bright, you're like the full moon!  Edith gets to know some of the locals by joining them as they have a picnic on the beach...so scenic!  The first day of mission, 'Find Edith a Man' doesn't go so smoothly, so Edith returns home to her one true love: gardening. That's all for now, stay tuned for more Warner fun!

awww... you tease! I was all excited and only to see a bunch of 'coming soon' and 'reserved' posts  Still can't wait though. *bit off topic* do you find it as amusing as i do that you and I were the ones that would generally disappear and not post for a while and now we are the majority of the posts?

Tee hee, sorry about that...I did actually intend to post my first update yesterday, but I got carried away with lots of errands I had to run in real life! I've posted it now, yay! *prods Diz in direction of the update* Hey, I don't mind if we're off topic on my thread, no small text needed (unless you or anyone else starts to conspire evilly...although you must know in advance that I'm always watching...)  I take all the spam I can get ;D But yes, I have noticed that...I guess we're making up for lost time. Hopefully more people will come back like us and follow in our footsteps. Here's to hoping!!  Will be posting the next update soon! My updates will be smaller than the ones I usually do because of my .PNG problem hehe. |

YAY! *reads update* Edith is adorable! I love her "ray of sunshine" comment. And the icon for her favorite music looks like the French music one. I has questions about your sim.... Do you use any skin replacements or is that jut your graphics making the default skin look all awesome? And where is that hair from?!  The Garden LTW is pretty tough. Can't wait ill the next update to see how the gardening goes and the husband hunt.  *contented sigh* I have missed yer witty posts and getting to drool over yer snazzy graphics! *evil conspiring commences*

Ahhh, so that's what type of music it is! I haven't played in a couple of days, and I was trying to remember from memory...I seemed to recall the other types but not French music  As for your questions about Edith...yesh I use skin replacements They are split into two categories for TS3, faces and bodies. My default faces for YF&M and AF&M are by PeggyZone, found here and here. Then the child faces and bodies for all I use are by aikea_guinea at Club Crimsyn, you can find those here. Edith's hair is a retexture by Missbonbon at GOS I think...let me find it...ah ha! I have a feeling I won't be able to update at the weekend because of work, so here's a little update for you all now. If I am able to post another update, it'll be on Sunday. For now, enjoy! The Warner Legacy: Update 1.1 The following day, Edith heads back to Sunset Valley community park. During this try a few eligible men actually pay her some attention  Alto Dude: If I wrote you a symphony just to say how much you mean to me, what would you do?Edith: ... *KATE FAIL* Justin Timberlake reference... Ooh, this guy doesn't look too bad... Thornton: I like a lady who has a lot of money. Do you have a lot of money?  Edith: Uh, well, no. But my good looks mean I'd make the perfect trophy wife, I promise!  ...oh, wait. Sleezebag.   After learning about Thornton's lady, Edith heads off to busy herself with other things...seeds. Edith: I know you'll love me, Mr Seed, oh yes I do-oo! Thornton: ARGH WHY IS THAT VILE ALTO DUDE ALWAYS IN MY WAY  At the beach Edith meets this dude, who is a bit too full of himself for my liking. His appearance does not compensate this downfall Honey, you can do so much better.  Edith: Looks like I'm going to have to provide the entertainment around here. Margaritas, anybody? Will Edith soon find a man? Or am I perhaps expecting things to happen too quickly?

aww poor Edith.. there is such a lack of quality men in Sunnyville. Tries to wait nicely till the next update.. Ohh thanks for the links. I have been using a different replacement skin and I liked it before but now i am not so sure. I had already been looking at the peggy faces and thinking about giving them a try.. so I just might now that I see them in your game. |

Riverview is definitely better in terms of eligible men, or at least that's my impression anyway. I attempted a legacy set in Riverview (which I eventually abandoned as I got bored with the founder) and it was much easy to find that Sim a husband Tries to wait nicely till the next update.. I think you've waited very nicely, so that's why I'm going to post another little update in a few. You're welcome for the links - I really like the noses on the Peggy skins. I also use different default eyes as well, just in case you wonder about those at a later date, hehe. |

Edith: Is that why you are wearing so much make-up? Me: *sniggers* But seriously, she is wearing a lot of make-up. It's quite hideous actually, doesn't do her any favours.  ...Wait, what is this? Edith??! You appear to be smiling uncontrollably at a...man?! Or at least I'm hoping it's a manEdith: I think I may have found the one ;D Really? Well, lets have a look at him!  Heeellooooo-ooo cutie! His name is Christopher Steel, and he too seems to be smiling uncontrollably at Edith. Or is that smile directed at me? *raises eyebrow*  I just thought Edith's work uniform was cute, in a weird sort of way. I think it's the hat. She saw an advertisement in the newspaper for a job in the culinary career and, seeing as she rolled a want to join that career track, she quickly went and got the job!  Just to let you all know, I purchased this Lifetime Reward for Edith as I thought it might do her some good. It turns out it just irritates me. I didn't realise the reward would give Edith (somewhat annoying) red sparklies that never go away. At first I thought they were cute, but then I realised they were always there, getting in the way...enhanced some pictures I took of her, but ruined others.  Edith and Chris's relationship seems to be working. They share their 'first kiss' outside the Sunset Valley restaurant. Awww, doesn't it just melt your heart? I love Edith's leap of braveness while Chris seems to be acting all shy and reserved  This seems to be the epitome of their relationship - Chris spends an awful lot of time simply staring at Edith with a blank look on his face. Except, I don't consider the look 'blank'. I think of it as 'mesmerised'. ;D Chris: She's so purdy! Are Edith and Chris just really *that* into one another? Will this be the man Edith has kiddie-winks with?
I guess you will all have to wait until the next update to find out

Consider yourselves warned.The Warner Legacy: Update 1.3 Edith: So...I was wondering...since I'm not getting any younger...do you fancy getting hitched?  Edith: Ta-da!! Chris: OMG IT'S AN ENGAGEMENT RING!!!!!! Me: I can't believe you proposed to him while he's in his cow-skin jammies. Best. Proposal. Ever.  Chris: I feel like a queen!    Back at Edith's house, she and Chris have an impromptu, private wedding. Look! They can both hardly contain their happiness Say hello to Mr & Mrs Warner!  Edith moves into Chris' place, since it is much larger (and nicer) than her own little box/shack. Edith's first married thought? About dragons. Why yes, she is awesome. Hehe. What's next for Edith and Chris now that they're hitched? Babies? Pancakes? Gardening?!

Yeah i have had a problem with Rivierview since getting the game... I can never change any sim's appearance. I know while a sim is preggers you can not change them, but I can't change ANY sim at all.. no matter the age or sex. It's really odd. I have updated and everything. Have posted questions about it and no one has been able to help me. Now about the update... aww i am so glad Chris was the one and Edith finally found someone. Although I am a little worried to read you say it took ages to find Chris and you extended her life just for more time with Chris as my next heir is female O.O Chris'... *cough* I mean Edith and Chris; new house looks very cute and speaking of cute I think Chris' cow jammies are totally win I have no idea about the wedding rings. I have not really looked at the hands and just assumed they were wearing them :/ That is rather silly that they don't automatically wear a wedding ring. I wonder if that conflicted with the jewelery section they added to the clothing? It did always make me wonder why they had a ring that looked like wedding rings o.O |

@diz That's really strange...have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling Riverview? You've probably already tried that but that's a really odd (and sad) problem you've got there! Teehee, I didn't really extend Edith's life span by that much, I think it was a few days. I thought it would be nice for them to grow to the elder life-stage at the same time, that's really why I did it I love Chris' cow jammies...so much so I kept them when making him over. I couldn't NOT keep them! Plus it gives me something to remember him by when the time comes that he has to kick the bucket. The wedding ring thing is strange...I don't really know the answers...might lurk on the TS3 site and see if anyone else has noticed the same thing. The next update is coming up in a bit!

The Warner Legacy: Update 1.4 Here is Chris in all his glory! Christopher Warner né SteelHis Lifetime Want is to own 13 different Perfect fish. Each one has to be in its own fish bowl. He doesn't want much does he  His favourite type of music is Indie (the boy has good taste!), he loves a perfect Pancake once in a while (I'll say it again, the boy has good taste!), and he likes the colour Lime. He’s an amusing little fact for you all: Chris seems to like the colour lime so much that, when Edith moved in, I noticed that his kitchen was decorated green! Edith was flabbergasted when she saw it, but since he’s her husband she let him keep it  You know what a wedding means...honeymoon!! Edith rolled a want to visit to visit Al Simhara. In my eyes, what the wifey wants, the wifey gets...so here they are!  I got so carried away playing that I forgot to take pics But here's Edith being incredibly brave, despite having the coward trait! Edith: Is something supposed to happen?! I'm standing on here but nothing's happening!! A little help here!!  Pretty Al Simhara views :-)  Uh, Edith, I wouldn't turn around if I were you! You might get up close and personal with a wall of fire I wish it had have been a ring of fire...then I'd have an excuse to sing Johnny Cash.  Oh…uhh…*cough*    Looks like there is some pretty intensive exploring going on…uhh…lets leave Edith and Chris to it. …I think I might be too embarrassed to write a witty joke here, so, um…ok…that’s all for now.

Pretty small, boxy legacy house! *cough* so Kate, I was taking another look at your first posts to steal your idea about the chapter/updates/page number and possibly time-line idea as well and took another look at the cute little house you made when i realized I can't recall seeing those windows nor that door in my game. I was wondering are they from the base game and I just have over looked them, or are they from the store or have you downloaded them from somewhere? And if they are a download can i beg yet another link from you |

Keep a look out and you might see it, hehe. As for the pitter-patter of tiny feet...well, soon all will be revealed |
