Oops, posted too soon...oh well, I shall spam my own thread.  *cough* so Kate, I was taking another look at your first posts to steal your idea about the chapter/updates/page number and possibly time-line idea as well and took another look at the cute little house you made when i realized I can't recall seeing those windows nor that door in my game. I was wondering are they from the base game and I just have over looked them, or are they from the store or have you downloaded them from somewhere? And if they are a download can i beg yet another link from you  LOL do whatever you like Diz, I would hardly say the timeline & other stuff was my idea as probably hundreds of other Simmers have done it before. Do you know what? You ask a pretty good question. I have no idea where the windows and doors are from, i.e. if they are from base game, the store, etc. The next time I'm in game I shall have a look for them and let you know. I have a feeling the door is CC but the windows are not...eep but don't trust me, I don't know |

Chris looks really nice after his make over and I am a bit intrigued to see his lime green kitchen.. keke. LOL.. look at that tent go! Hmm... wonder if I hear the pitter patter of little feet as a result of this *cough* "exploring" I didn't get a shot of the whole of his kitchen, but Chris' kitchen does play a part in some of the pictures I have taken. Keep a look out and you might see it, hehe. As for the pitter-patter of tiny feet...well, soon all will be revealed  O.O <<--- me keeping a look out and wondering how soon is 'soon' ? I actually intended for 'soon' to be yesterday, but since I've now borked my game, I'm reluctant to update until I have it fixed. I started to write out all the chapters in a list and link to the posts if any others came along and wanted to catch up, but I thought it might look silly because it was already making this HUGE long skinny list :/ I might need to think of another way to format it. My list is probably going to get huge as time goes by, but I hadn't really thought about it. Of course I had just skimmed over the part where you said to modify yer post to copy the code (f.y.i. I can see the code by quoting your post as well ). Looking at it I think I can figure it out and is something i might fiddle with. I do have a question though. is it possible to make the things in the table links? Like where it says "Update 1.0" could that be turned into a hyperlink so when the click it it goes to the post? or no because it's in the table? (sorry if you don't understand the question :/ not sure how to word it. ) And poo! why would you do something like update your game! Yes links are possible in the table, just make sure you use the URL BBcode tags = (URL=http://www.cookiefestrulez.com) (/URL) (but with []'s instead of ()'s). And poo! why would you do something like update your game! I hope you sort it out soon and yay you backed up the Warners... i should really back up my family.. i never do an then something happens to them when I'm like half way through the challenge. I know, right? Why on earth did I think EAxis' latest update would not bork my game? Why did I think, "oh, everything will be fine, just update the game, Kate."? *sigh* Pesky EAxis. Am planning to reinstall today if everything goes to plan. I only backed up the Warners hastily before I installed the update...I never normally make back-ups, and I think I've been lucky that this happened when I did back-up. Don't think I'll be patching my game again unless I desperately have to. |

Still haven't reinstalled my game yet (have found myself rather busy with other things), but I felt I owed you guys an update The Warner Legacy: Update 1.5 Edith and Christopher arrive home from Al Simhara only to find Edith has caught some sort of bug  My sources report that 98% cases of this 'bug' tend to result in what's called a 'baby'...not sure I like the sound of that  Ok, that stat is a complete figment of my imagination. Oh, who am I kidding? It seems Edith is a member of this 98% club!  Edith is pregnant! *cue cheers of 'YAY' all around* I tell you, she is pregnant, despite the fact her dress isn't showing any signs of a bump ;_; To celebrate his wife's news, Chris heads to the local fishing pond to catch himself some Perfect fish. He is an angler after all  Chris: When you come out of there little one, we're going to buy you everything! Including a teddy bear! Edith: Not a green teddy bear, dear? Chris: I don't think Sim Goddess!Kate will let me have that wish. Me: Yep, you're right, that will not happen until one of your wishes is "Buy baby a green teddy bear".  Edith: Oooh...something feels funny. Me: Define 'something'. Edith: My belly. I think I might be in labour! Me: That's all for now... *evil cackle*  |

Hmm... so it's a "bug" that causes babies in 98% of travels that get sick *snickers* riiiggghhhhttt! Hehehe I shall update later today. My evil side wanted me to hold off on updating for a couple of days, but inevitably my good side has won and wants me to update today Yesterday I found time to reinstall my game, now I'm just reinstalling all of my .Sims3Packs. They take forever! ;_; I'm never patching my game ever again! Unless it wants me to patch it when I install a new expansion pack... My statistic of 98% probably isn't right, but it's a pretty round number, so 98% it will be. Amazing that *over exaggerated wink back* |

The Warner Legacy: Update 2.0 Edith comes home later that morning with a bundle of joy: a baby boy! Meet Phoenix Warner everyone! Although she doesn't look too happy... Edith: This new baby creeps the hell out of me! I mean, how am I going to care for it?! Me: You have Christopher to help... Edith: But what about when he's out fishing?! How am I possibly going to feed him? Change his dirty nappies?! Amuse him??! THE THOUGHT OF THIS BABY FRIGHTENS ME. Sounds like her 'coward' trait is beginning to make an appearance...   Christopher immediately jumps into 'father' mode and runs into the room when Phoenix starts to cry. I soon found out that Chris is an excellent father! Even if Phoenix let out a tiny little murmur, Chris would be in the nursery like a shot to pick baby Phoenix up and give him a cuddle! Edith was more focussed on her other children...her garden plants If Christopher wants to watch the TV, you can make damn sure that he'll be doing it with Phoenix cradled in his arms.  ...But, y'know, being the best father in the world isn't all fun and games. In the spare moments Chris gets to himself, he likes to indulge in his favourite food: a pancake. Preferably with apple. Chris: YAY PANCAKES *claps*  Babies aren't the most exciting thing in the game...so it soon rolls around to Phoenix's birthday! Hehehe I love Edith's face in this picture.  Phoenix transitions into a...well, what I can only describe as a bald, 'possessed' looking child   He's not too bad looking...although I'm worried about that upper lip! Before we finish the update for today, here are his stats! Phoenix rolled the traits Loves The Outdoors and Heavy Sleeper. He didn't inherit any of his parents' traits, and were picked completely randomly! *pats online random number selector* Apart from that, he loves classical music, fruit parfait and the colour spice brown. Thought I'd warn you all: there's major Phoenix spam in the next update. Hehehe!!

YAY! An update!  I am glad your good side won out over the evil side so we got the update now and not a few days later. Love the look on Edith's face when she is bringing Phoenix home... I can see the fear of raising a baby in it. By the way Phoenix Warner is an awesome name! And after his little make-over and the possession is over he doesn't look too bad, can't wait to see how he looks growing up Hey, I donno if you ever mentioned it, but how are you choosing your heirs? Is it going to just be the first born.. or some other way? Also looking at the Phoenix's room I see the Warners and the Langdons shop at the same place... it's the same hedgehog wall covering as in Jett's room |

Thanks for the compliment on the name I've tried to stray away from the norm in this legacy, and have been compiling a list of awesome, unusual names (or at least they are unusual in terms of names I don't usually choose). During this generation I really wanted to call one of the children 'River', but I later remembered River Phoenix, and thought it might be a bit weird As for choosing heirs I never really said how I'd do it...for the heir of this generation I just picked my favourite. I thought about holding a poll, but there is no point as hardly anyone is on CF to read TS3 legacies hehe. I will probably always pick my favourite, unless I can come up with some other awesome way to do it. Hehe I love that hedgehog wallpaper! As soon as I saw it I thought it was a nice, neutral wallpaper to use for a kid's bedroom/nursery |

Awww hehe thanks Anti That makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside...I like feeling warm and fuzzy inside! My game problems aren't hindering me entirely. As a matter of a fact I have everything reinstalled at last so today I might be able to find time today to play! Plus I've got a folder FULL of fraps photos, have been sorting those out obsessively as I haven't had a game to play. I will update later just for you! |

Just a little note for you all: I got my game working today. Yay! The Warners have not been harmed, and are running smoothly. Cookies and hugs all round.    The Warner Legacy: 2.1 Christopher continues his performance as "The World's Greatest Simmie Daddy". If I had to rate him, I'd give him an A+++++. Here is an illustration of what the many things toddler Phoenix does each day: He sleeps 80% of the day away.  He picks his nose for a good 3% of it. I do not understand the appeal.  Christopher doesn't seem to jump to Phoenix's cries quite as often now that he's a toddler, which means he has to spend 7% of the day whining.  Finally, Phoenix looks cute for the remaining 10% of the day...oh, screw that. He looks cute all the time.  Edith teaches Phoenix the art of being able to sing and dance at the same time. A much needed skill, that.  Chris: So...now that we've managed to successfully raise one child into toddlerhood, what do you say about having other? Edith: If I say yes, will it mean sexytimez?  Chris: ...I guess we can find out. Get making that second child, guys!  Sorry for the somewhat lacking update. There will be more soon! |

For Anti The Warner Legacy: Update 2.2 Here we have more evidence of Christopher being a kick-ass father. He rolls the want to 'Teach Phoenix How To Walk', and who am I to deny that? I used to hate those bear suits in TS2, at first in TS3 I thought they were cute, but now I am beginning to hate them again...although my hatred is coming on much slower this time. Yes, Edith is throwing up her breakfast in her work uniform. Yes, Edith and Chris have a purple and yellow bathroom. That's how I found it when Edith moved in.  Edith pops in the back yard as she spruces up her garden the following morning. Notice that she lets herself get extremely stinky and hungry for her plants. Does she do the same for her chill'uns? Hmmm And now...I should say this... *insert period of a few Sim days here...nothing interesting happened*  Edith: Uh oh. I've got that painful feeling in my belly again. Me: Baby? Edith: Why can't babies be as easy to bring into this world as plants are? Me: Err...  Phoenix: My Mum might be in labour, but my toy rocket is much more appealing. Where is that damn thing? Edith: A LITTLE HELP HERE!  Edith runs (ok, so she drives) off to the hospital, leaving Christopher at home to look after Phoenix. I could have hired a babysitter, but I left it too late. Doh!  Introducing to you all: baby Normie Warner! Chris: I'm not pulling this face because my wife has given birth to another boy, when we both had wants to have a girl. I'm pulling this face because - what you can't fully see - I'm carrying a bag of garbage. Edith: I still look scared, but not as scared as I was when I gave birth to Phoenix. Will Edith and Christopher keep trying for that girl? Tune in next time and you might just find out |

awww.. Chris is such a loving and attentive dad... Edith is lucky to have him lol.. the picture where Edith popped with the second baby belly out in the garden made me giggle. At first I thought she was just experiencing the glow of pending motherhood and she just happened to glow green smoke Chris looks soo pleased in the last picture... are you sure he was actually carrying a bag of trash and it's not because he got another boy o.O Or the fact that Edith has a better shirt on than him (speaking of Edith's shirt I was wondering if you could tell me where you got it... i luffs it!) Can't wait to see if Edith and Chris have any more kiddies also now that I know your heir is just random according to whom you likes best I can't wait to see who ends up leading the next generation!  |

Edith is a lovely legacy founder Kate and like Dizzy, whilst reading your updates I have once again found myself to be incredibly jealous of your graphics and all your photo-editing skillz!! And your lovely custom content! I feel left in the dark-ages.. I haven't had time to play TS3 that much so I have hardly any cc.. with no default replacements at all! So I have looked into downloading some of the bits you already mentioned.. and as this legacy progresses, I may well be asking you about where you got lots more of your lovely stuff from! *Settles down with cookies* Bring on another update!! |
