Oh.. umm.. I think Virgil sold that painting because it was brilliant and worth a lot of money. Or it's floating around in one of his descendants inventory (CAUSE HE'S DEAD!) I found out that if you hold onto sketches and paintings and wait till after the creator is dead the price sky-rockets!  There have been enough generations of the family now that they really are not hurting for money (which is why for a gen or two I'll have total bu,s that never get real jobs). And then when the family needs funds I just sell some old paintings. LOL and with Ferne being stretched... my game is pretty slow because i really need more memory so it pauses a lot and this time it happened to pause right as she was aging up and she was all stretchy. She was stretchy long enough my my delayed reaction to realize she was and to hit the pause button. But thankfully soon after she popped into the normal shape  >.> I am taking down the Christmas tree right now and probably will tomorrow as i am getting tired and I have like a million ornaments on it, but as soon as it's down I'll post another update. |

OH man! i wish! we should invent one and then sell it.. we'd be rich! Introducing the new autoTree! It takes itself out of the closet and decorates it's self and then late it will de-decorate and put itself back in the box! (Although I enjoy the decorating... that can be an option though cause some people get too busy even for the decorating.) Yeah I just found out about the paintings gaining in value not too long ago. I noticed first with the sketches from the drafting table, so maybe it was new with ambitions. But then to see if paintings gained too I checked the price of the pictures Jude painted of Kendall and Jasper and they were worth a fortune! So now if the family can afford it all paintings and sketches are kept for a while. Even the crappy ones that originally sell back for like $5 can make a huge jump in price. |

Yeah I finally got the trees down and wrestled into their boxes and there are fake pine needles everywhere. Also having just put it away there is one more thing having an automatic tree would be good for... no scrapes and cuts! Those wiry branches are painful! My hands and arms are full of scraps and little cuts.. I forgot about that from when i set it up. Update will follow in a bit. I need to sit down and eat and straighten up the kitchen a bit before |

I don't quite remember why I took this picture... I have shown Viktor time traveling to you guys before. Maybe it was to show how I can't keep him away from the time machine.. not sure now.  Yet another slacking maid that had to go.  I think after this the family discontinued all maids because none actually did any work! Late one after noon Viktor and Margo were playing chess and Viktor started to float and then sparkle   (when I made the thread some weeks ago about losing a sim I had been really attached to this is the reason. Again Grimmy materialized outside the house.. so sorry for the walls down picture.  I donno what Viktor was thinking but as soon as Grimmy showed up and ran.. err.. floated to the kitchen. I donno if it was to get away or what. Eventually Grimmy caught up and Viktor agreed he'd had a great life and went willingly into the after life.  Meanwhile some teen kid came home from school with one of the girls with an [sarcasm] awesome[/sarcasm] hair cut. He decided that while the family was dealing with losing a loved family member he'd work out a bit o.O He never even batted an eye when Ghost Viktor and grimmy went past behind him o.O  Grimmy then had the nerve to stick around and try and chat up Virgil and become friends with him  Myrtle used the inherited mood changer to make herself happy.  She tried to cure Ferne as well, but just sapped her till she fell down exhausted.  Virgil brought Viktor's head stone to the cemetery the next day and apparently thought it would be a good place to hang out o.O  And he's seems to not be the only one to like it there... this girl was really excited about being surrounded by death.  While Virgil read i did a bit of people watching and spied this girl... her name is Wanda.. LANGDON! She is a relative of some long ago kicked out kid. Too bad I could not figure out her what line she came from. There are so many Langdons roaming around the town now.  Okay that is all for now. |

My tree cuts me up to! Dam messy trees that make a dam mess and don't take themselves down!! *shakes fist at them*

The girls have brought home friends from school. Flora has found out the guys she brought home is totally incompatible with her as he's evil and she is good.  But it doesn't really matter because now that teen buy is too young for her anyways as a night or two later it's Flora's birthday!  Here she is after her young adult make over.  her final traits are loner, good, shy, green thumb and vegetarian. Her LTW is to grow 8 types of perfect plants. I kid you not... this is what the game made her. When she was named Flora her only traits were good and loner... the rest the game did, but how appropriate She didn't even bother eating any cake and sat down with a garden book and started studying up.  The next day she spent a lot of time going to different parks in town to collect some seeds and see if she could get any of them to grow.  On her way into the grocery store for more seeds she was recognized as a star because her mother Fanny is such a huge celeb. and she was photographed by the paparazzi.  Which brought out her shy side... how cute is that!  The clerk in the grocery store also recognized her and gave her a discount on her purchases! NICE!  WOOO!! Fanny has achieved her LTW!  The next day Flora starts off nice and early in her new garden area.  Some days later it's Ferne's birthday.  Here she is after her young adult make over.  That is all for now  |

Sorry guys.. i really did mean to post before now. Better late than never right?! let's jump right in The laundry gnome has taken to guarding Flora's plants.  Ferne has gotten a job at the local fire department. And even on her first day of work she had to go out on calls... wow no training in this profession!  She even got to drive the WooWoo4000!  By the time she got to the fire it was raging!  HEY! The poor woman with her house on fire is Ferne's Aunt Vicky!  Ferne was determined to save her aunt's house no matter how long it took!  *phew* finally after nearly 3 hours she got it out.  Because Ferne is a fire fighter she is able to flirt by bragging she's a fire fighter... seems she's impressed this long time school friend.  They whispered sweet nothings to each other... hmm wonder what they are saying  \  it seems Ferne always had a crush on this guy so she asked him to go steady... seems he'd had a crush on her too.  Even after just one day of work Ferne knew she was in a dangerous profession and decided why wait and plopped down on one knee and proposed to her new man.  He ssid YES! And they ran inside to err.. "celebrate" little knowing that Flora was in the bathroom of the bedroom they were in. So when Flora came out of the bathroom she walked upon a rather surprising scene, but she didn't seemed phased at all and clapped a congrats to them both.  Here is the happy couple, Ferne and Monte  They moved out just after this and so far are living happily ever after. But back at the main Langdon home things are not so happy.  At the ripe old age of 93 Myrtle is passing on  She readily agrees and is eager to join her beloved Viktor.  Bye bye Myrtle.. you will be missed. |

Okay MAJOR bribage for Shell here, so you have the next THREE updates of my legacy all at once! Flora has taken a trip to Paris! She wanted to collect some seeds from another country and possibly meet a man  Here she is just arrived in Paris.  One of her distant relatives had gone to Paris many years ago and brought back books about nectur making so she thought why not check out some local nectur.  She even found a secret room with a chest full of gold!  Little did she realize that the secret room was not so secret having been discovered by another of her distant relatives. For a lot of her trip she just went around to different places and took pictures of herself there.  Having heard about the famous catacombs in Paris, Flora went exploring.  And found that catacombs are filled with horrible things!   The next morning she was very Parisian eating crepes for breakfast and ate them at a little bistro on the street.  After wards she met a really cute guy and asked him his sign.  They were compatible and while chatting a bit more Flora was spotted by the local paparazzi. Which scared the guy away because he ran off (literally ran off) soon after.  Later in the day she met another guy and asked if he was single. He was, but was not interested and he too ran away.  One day while trying to chat up another guy she was recognized by some of the locals.  She asked him is sign and they were very compatible! So she used her old pick up line about... a bathtub?   Which was so horrible the guy ran away.  |

While wandering around the city Flora ran into another fan.  And another one!  The guy that ran away the night before was back and this time he didn't run away and Flora swooped in for a first kiss!  She felt a real connection with him and asked if he'd like to go steady.  Then she remembered her vacation was up in one day!  She didn't want to lose Yves (that's his name.. the French dude.. Yves) so soon so she dropped down on one knee and asked him to marry her.  And not one for a long engagement they had a little private wedding right there on the streets of Paris.  They went back to the Hotel and celebrated a bit  Awww.. how cute, they dream of each other.  For the last day of the trip the couple could be seen around the city kissing and kanoodling.   and riding through the countryside.  and of course spotted by the paparazzi  One last snuggle in the city square before catching a late night flight back home.  |

Naww...Yves is sweet for coming back. Or was it a bad thing? As he ended up finding himself married LOL and now with a baby on the way.
Fanny makes for a pretty elder!!

As a birthday present to Shell here is another update! [/b] Yves has found the wonders of traveling in time!  Fanny was out in town one day when she noticed the vampire paparazzi all sparkly and floating behind a building.  She really would like to feel sorry but he was a vampire and an annoying paparazzi to boot! He'd always come and stand in front of the house and stare in the windows.  Fanny was really down town to audition some people for her up and coming movie.  This girl gave a very dramatic performance.. I think she might be a future star.. Fanny hired her on the spot.  She also auditioned this guy.. he too gave a very sad and dramatic performance, but he was not right for the role.  The city is being over run by vampires! Also did you know that vampires enjoy public service jobs? o.O I noticed this new firefighter that was a vampire.  And his vampy brother is a doctor.  Also while out in town noticed Ferne and she is pregnant!!  This poor lady had lost a loved one and being a kind hearted person Fanny went to cheer her up only to find out that she was a Langdon! (but the picture for who she lost never rezzed the face so I couldn't see how she was related.  Okay that is it for now. Hope you have a great day Shell |

I have never had a sims be a director before. How awesome that they can audition sims. Must have to try it out!

Unfortunately a while back I had some "hiccups" with my game and three generations worth of sims do not show the family tree. So even if I start in the family tree before them once i come to one of those generations and click on any of the childern everything is blank. So i can't trace three generations worth of un needed siblings. That's why now my family keeps running into all these extended family members and they have no clue where they came from :/
