I went and saw Shrek the Third last night. It was a cute movie and has a nice message in it, but I couldn't help thinking that it wasn't exactly one that *had* to be seen on the big screen. And actually kept thinking through it I rather have gone see Pirates again and waited to see Shrek till it came out on DVD But that is just my opnion and like I said it *is* a cute movie.

Watched Napoleon Dynamite in Media Studies this morning... I don't get it. A lot of people thought it was "hilariously" funny, but I didn't think it was. Funny in places, yes. It's an odd film. Oops... double posting, but.... I just saw this and I am glad I did! I didn't get it either I am glad we only paid like 5$ for it (bought it from a rental place that was going out of biz) I thought the movie sucked and yeah there were a few funny places, but if I remember me ... none were even enough to actually make me laugh. It was just slow and dry and I have been trying to give the stupid DVD away for like 2 years now and no one will even take it

There was a guy in my Media Studies class who - whenever Napoleon Dynamite opened his mouth - would laugh out loud.
I sniggered a few times (one time I can think of is when he says "My lips hurt real bad" as my friend has a t-shirt of that and I always wondered where it came from) but nothing major.
Glad I'm not the only one who the film didn't appeal to!

Pirates of the Caribbean 3... again... My friend surprised me by ringing me up quite late: "Hai Kate, wanna go see Pirates?"... Turning down some more Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom? No chance. So off I went again! And it was greater the second time - none of that silly interval they put in the first time I saw it! And the seats were better second time around

Went around to my friends house again last night and - after his girlfriend and I admitted that we both hadn't seen it - the four of us watched Finding Nemo. It was great, I loved the little pink starfish in the tank! She was cute. Not forgetting to mention Doreen either... "Just keep swimming, swimming swimming!"

Again??! Sheesh Dizz! lol And yup I stayed! Glad I did! I didn't know about it until I heard some woman a couple of rows behind me telling her friends to stay sat down for an extra scene as I was getting ready to leave! Last night I watched Music and Lyrics. It's rather cheesy, but a typical feel-good Hugh Grant chick flick! hehe.

I just finished watching sky high.. it's a kids film, so it's rather cute and cheesy. But it leaves you with that warm happy "aww" feeling inside afterwards! Plus.. the guy you plays war and peace ain't that bad a looker! Hehe.

Hmm.. haven't updated this thread in a while!
Last night I watched Dragon - The Bruce Lee Story. Very cheesy! Hehe. On monday I went to see Fantastic Four - Rise of the Silver Surfer at the cinema. It was alright.. again, kinda cheesy! And on saturday night I watched The Messengers was a little spooky, but not quite as scary as I was hoping it to be! I also watched Hot Fuzz after that.. second time I've seen it, and if it's possible, I think I love it even more now!! Amazing film.
