My mum pointed out the receding hairline of a guy in neighbours the other day... I'm not sure why but I don't like to do it, especially those people who don't seem old enough to start losing their hair! Have to agree about your thing with Jude Law's lovely eyes! ^_^ Mmm, I love a guy with nice eyes! My ex-bf had lovely brown eyes! ...Ok, sound a bit obsessed with eyes there!

Ok double posting.. *cough* but... I went to see Spiderman 3 last night. It was alright. Comic book movies aren't really my thing, but I kinda got dragged to see it! And yeh I agree with you Kate, it was much cheesier than the other two were.

Watched Napoleon Dynamite in Media Studies this morning... I don't get it. A lot of people thought it was "hilariously" funny, but I didn't think it was. Funny in places, yes. It's an odd film.

Haha! yeah....still never scene that movie, kate. Oh, but the other day we watched "Closer" (don't you dare start shaming me for watching it....) I actualy put it on the list like 2-3 years ago....then it finaly came. We just have so many movies on outr neflix list. *sigh* Anyway.....well, if I had watched it 2-3 years ago....my parents would have told me to leave the room. MY GOD! It had so many sexual references....and there is one scene where it gets pretty bad. These two guys start having an internet conversasion and it gets pretty intense with what they say. But, it's also kinda odd becasue there are time lapses in the movie...and you realize theyre happening after the first one (actualy after you see some changes...really.) but, you never know when they're happening until later in the movie when you finaly realize that there is a white out and a little odd noise......Kinda odd. Throughout the movie it lapses over about 4 and a half years....but it just gets stranger and stranger as these two couples get rapped up in each other's relationship. It's deffinitely odd, to say the leaste. And you'll be very surprised at the ending. You almost go....awww.......ohhhh that's sad.....or.....that was so weird. And it is...all of those things. But, I wouldn't give it entirely to many boo's it does have it's moments. Besides.....*cough for Kaite and kate* there's Jude law in it....and...Julia Roberts, Natalie Portman ( where you get to see her without the mak-up....and without hardly any clothes on.... :yikes: ) and Clive Owen. A very good movie.....if you're stuck with some good friends on a long night out.

ANTI YOU SAW CLOSER!!!!
Closer is one of my all-time favourite movies... I love it! Especially that Internet Chatroom scene, had me laughing out loud when I saw it at the cinema... everyone was giving me evil looks, hehe.
Clive Owen is just phenomenal in that film... I absolutely love his portrayal of Larry! He played him as a rough bloke, but he also has a slightly softer side that doesn't like to show itself too much... especially the scene when Anna tells Larry that she's leaving him for Dan. He shows his softer side before having that sex argument with her.
Closer was a play before it got adapted into a film... would love to go and see the play version of it, hopefully one day someone'll do it and I'll be able to go!
Anyyywayyy, moving on...
The last film I watched was Death Of A Salesman, as part of my English Literature revision.

Last night I watched another film (in a DVD mood at the mo), and I watched Closer for about the hundredth time. I had to skip a few bits though as I realised how feeble Jude Law is in that film...

I know, but I have to say he was in my opinion... I've read the original version (the play) and I must say that - to me - Dan doesn't come across as how Jude Law plays him... I guess I don't like his interpretation

I still have yet to see that film... I wanted to see The Holiday at the cinema but never got round to it... My sister has got it on DVD but when I asked her if I could borrow it she said it was at her husbands dad's house (they're in the process of doing up their house as they want to move). Damnit, I want some Jude Law good acting-ness!
