I'm posting here because I've been MIA for a few days. On Monday, the book store I work for got brought by another large book store here in the UK, and it was suddenly all systems go! We had a mass of deliveries and I've been working overtime for the past four days trying to get the store sorted. My hands are actually in quite a state; believe me books can be dangerous! Told my manager I wasn't coming in today as this is my last week before I head to Uni and I wanted at least one day to myself - best that it's a Friday, hehe!! The only problem is that I have to head into work tomorrow  Ok I'll stop giving you guys my life story now! Hope you're all well!! |

hey gang,
I'm back, I've been MIA for almost a yr, with very infrequent check-ins on cookie fest. How's everyone doing huh? I've just been busy with work, with my son, and with an almost abnormally addiction to subbed asian dramas on youtube...LOL. I stopped playing the Sims and so stopped checking in on any of the Sims Forums that I freqently visit. I've just found some time in my busy schedule to start playing the Sims again and I'm back for a while.
Looks like lots have happen while I gone. Dizzy moved out of Cali, Kate is now starting college. What about everyone else.
Sorry for being a bit long winded, LOL. But I have miss you all and thought about the Cookie Fest gang.

DejAng~I've went back to college. ::)I also did something dumb like *cough* delete *cough* my name here on CF and had to re-register. Also as you can tell (maybe) that I have gotten addicted to Doctor Who and Torchwood, maybe that's because of John Barrowman (cough* eye candy *cough*  ). My husband was the one who got me watching Doctor Who which led to watching Torchwood, so I blame it all on him. It also helps that both shows have pretty good actors/actresses in it, plus pretty good story lines. I haven't been like this about a show or shows since The X-Files (before David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson's characters got replaced). I know, I know I'm a big  with shows I like so I'll stop before you do this to me  . Anyways, I've been busy mostly with college and home life. I have tried to keep up a self-sim story of our sims but I been way too tired and busy to even think about playing the sims (but I have really wanted to sadly). |

Hey DejAng! It's so good to hear from you! How is little Henry? I think that he was around the three month mark when I remember you posting about him last...? Yes, I am now at College! I'm studying English, and I start officially next week - this week has been "Freshers week", where the first years get inducted into the Uni and lots of fun events occur. My first lecture is on Monday... I'm so nervous! But I've made lots of great new friends who are in the same lectures/seminars as me, so I won't be too lonely. I just have to keep reminding myself that everyone is in the same boat as me! It's lovely to hear from you DejAng! The Cookie Fest gang is looking a little less populated to what it used to, but we're still plodding along strong |

Oh hey, Dejang!~ It's nice too hear from you. Yes, a lot of things have happened, it appears that it's more real-life things. But with the upcoming release of the sims 3, there might be more action. LOL!
We re-started the slef-sim thing, although it appears that it might dwindle again if people don't have time to post anything.
I'm not sure when you went off, so you may or may not know that I'm a Sophmore now. It's a huge load for me this year, so I probably won't be posting too much. There isn't a whole lot of change for me. I think the rest of the people on here have been more adventerous. LOL!

It's been great to play catch up and hear from everyone. I'm glad everyone has been doing well, even though we've all been extrmeley busy with "real life"

You're back in school huh? 'What are you studying? I think I remember checking in and reading about when you accidently deleted your account....LOL. Hey it happens to all of us sometimes. I haven't even heard about Doctor Who and Torchwood...LOL, I'm assuming they're new shows? I don't really keep up with any of the new shows, I'm stuck on my old shows and that's all I watch. Don't want to get myself addicted to any new shows, especially considering that I'm already addicted to the Asian Dramas on Youtube.

Little Henry's a handful now. He's turning 19 months in a week or so. Loves to climb everything and experiment with his strengths on everything, which means I end up with a lot of broken stuff around the house...LOL. He's develop quite a little personality and an independent streak wanting to do things on his own.
Congrats on starting college. It's good that you've made some friends. Don't be nervous, just enjoy yourself and your college experience. I know I still miss my "good ole college days". It's difficult to keep in touch with all your friends after college because everyone will be going their own ways and starting careers/lifes, so just enjoy these days while you can and have fun.

Hey Anti, glad to heard from you. You're a Sophmore now huh? I agree, real life seems to intervene at the worse moments...LOL. I'm not too hype up about Sims 3. I don't think I'll have too much time to devote to it with my incredibly crazy real life. The most recent ep package I have for Sims 2 is Seasons, and I don't even have Pets.

Dejang~ No, Doctor Who isn't new (it's been running since sometime in the 60's, they just have different Doctor's who take over.) it's a British tv show, Torchwood is a spin off of it. ;D Here is a Wiki entry if you want to read more up on Doctor Who other wise it could get confusing LOL: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doctor_Who |

Welcome back Dejang!!! Glad to hear Henry is growing up well Life for me has changed lots since you've been gone... I've just got my first job as a teacher after finally finishing 4 years at uni at the start of the summer. And last weekend I moved out of my parents house and in with my boyfriend! All very exciting/scary stuff! |
