Annoying things

Bit hard to explain if you don't already know some background... so background to my annoying thing....

over a year ago a friend was buying land for me in SL so i could have a furniture shop (I build furniture in SL) and so I could have a virtual gallery of my RL photography. It was on his late wife's (rl) account because she already had land for her shop and there was some land he could buy before the teir price went up so he wouldn't have to pay any more tier than he already was with buying my land. Well i gave him $72.00 USD (out of my own pocket!) to buy land. I figured if we ever got rid of the land we'd sell it so I'd get at least my investment back.

Anyways... voom up to a week ago... My friend messages me on MSN telling me my land is going to disappear. o.O he says it just like that. So then he further explains. He has not paid attention to his late wife's account in a while and the credit card for it expired! he used to always cry that was all he had left of her.. and now he's just forgetting about her o.O
Well with the credit card being expired that means the account wasn't being paid so they locked... she lost all her inventory and the rights to her land. meaning I lost all my land too. He has totally forgotten I put in money also for land... which i now totally lose cause he doesn't get to sell the land, it's been revoked. The only way he could get the land back to sell it is to pay $75.00 USD to get the account reinstated... meaning we'd have to sell my land for a total of like $150.00 USD to make it worth his while... and he doesn't think we can.. so I am out that money plus i lost my gallery and shop totally annoying that he forgot about checking the account. He used to always go on it. More annoying he was then crying over the loss just now going back to saying it was all he had left of his wife.. yet he is the one that forgot about her..... and had to not go on the account for like 3 months cause that is the time it takes for them to take over an account. *sighs*

anyways.. that is my annoying thing.

Here's a small little thing I find annoying: When your sim wakes up the day after they've been burgled & you make them get some cereal but they replcae it with 'miss this object' & just stand there & look at the space where somehing used to be

for the last month at work we have been doing a toy drive and trying to get someone to buy a toy and then we donate it.. that is NOT the annoying part.. that is not so bad, BUT I go into work on thursday and am told that now every time i sell a toy i have to get on the intercom for the WHOLE store and say "Just sold another toy for Operation Home Front.... WOOOOHOOO!" O.O And the Woohoo is mandatory.. oi! so annoying and embarrassing!

I sold 75 toys today O.O my throat hurts from all the woohooing now

Is the same old job I've had for the last year... working at the dollar tree.... If I were working in a toy store that would be way cool! Or like the lego store

Yeah it's not so bad now... but the annoying thing now are other people who aren't so enthusiastic about it and don't do the woohoo... they make us others look silly.. oh well

• My account on Popomundo has been blocked, and I have no idea why. I haven't done anything against the rules! At the weekend I simply brought myself VIP and the other day, the Popomundo news was updated to say that "fraudulent bank details were used to buy VIP for some users over the weekend... these users have had their accounts terminated"... UH, I HAVE NOT USED FRAUDULENT BANK DETAILS! I'm impatiently waiting for a reply to the contact e-mail I sent...
  Just received a reply, they have fixed their mistake and have reimbursed me an extra month of VIP to make up for it. How sweet! They're in my good books again.

Diz: I thought it was Dollar Tree you worked at when you first mentioned having to yell out woohoo everytime a customer bought a toy for the x-mas thing....I had it happen to me when I went there and bought a toy....trust me, it's just as embarrasing for the customers....LOL...

It was like an extra xmas decoration... Christmas just won't feel the same this year now... *sniffle*

it's freezing here.. literally and my work has NO heat. most of the builsinf is under going renovations and about 80% of the walls are just plywood.. no insillation at all! And it's been snowing and icey here :/ we can see our breath while we try and work... and cause they are so money hungry they don't close... the temp here has not gone above like 25 degrees (f) in a week!
There is supposed to be an even bigger storm moving in tonight also.

Dizzy, if I had that job I'd probably get fired for not Woohooing (LOL I can't believe you have to say that). I'd be laughing to much at the thought (The SIms 2 slang term) and after that wore off I'd probably do it so monotone and non excited (Think Ben Stein and you have the idea) that the manager would want to tell me to stop.

As for me I'm having to deal with a 5 year old who is scared of ghosts badly since my Dad died. He got up last night scared from a dream he had about ghosts surrounding him. Take in mind that this child has always been a brave little guy nothing seemed to scare him really until now. He was crying over it, he has never cried over stuff like that. Luckily he has my old teddy bear (from when I was about 1 years old) and I told him he would protect him like he did me. But now the problem is becoming that he needs to take that bear around the house with him at night LOL, cute but I hope this doesn't effect him later in life.
Also with me I'm having to deal with the fact that Dad's favorite holiday is coming up and I just can't get into the spirit of things. I feel like yelling out Bah-Hum-Bug to everyone having to do with Christmas, but I have to smile and act like I'm happy at least for the kids. This Christmas just won't be the same without him .

• Yesterday I got myself a new phone, only to bring it home and have it die on me after about ten minutes. The battery seems to have gone away with the fairies and the phone doesn't want to switch on.
  
  I'm on a forum for the phone at the moment trying to troubleshoot it... but arrrgh, this is not a good start to the new year.

1. TRAFFIC -- who isn't???
2. BACK STABBING -- you can tell it to my face, just don't fool me!
3. BROKEN PROMISES -- promises are made to be DONE. ;D
