Lauryn stood there, crossing her arms as she surveyed the room, finally all unpacked. 'It looks decent enough,' she thought, smiling a little to herself, 'This is my house, my furniture... I moved in here all on my own with no ones help. Finally, I can actually begin working toward my dream'.
Meet Lauryn Foster. She is one of the first Sims to move into the beautiful city of Elsewhere, hoping to accomplish her dreams one step at a time.
Aspiration: Fortune
Lifetime Wish: Earn $100,000
Personality: Virgo (9/2/6/3/5)
Turn On's: Cologne, Red Hair
Turn Off: Unemployment
Lauryn looked out the window, noticing a paperboy dropping off a newspaper. 'Well, if I'm going to get any richer and be able to afford this place, I might as well start with a job,' she thought, going out the front door and picking up the newspaper. She went back inside and sat down on her cheap sofa, flipping through the pages.
"No, no, deffinately not! God, am I going to find ANYTHING -" she trailed off, trailing her finger down a little box, notcing a 'HELP WANTED' ad for an opening in the Intelligence career. "Thats more like it," she said, smiling to herself as she picked up the phone and called the listed number. After a couple of minutes she had a job as a Gumshoe.
Proud of herself for getting into her first career, she went outside to go view the neighbourhood with her telescope. Soon it started to hail, hard. Lauryn covered her head, yelling out in pain, high-tailing it back into her house and staring out through the window, waiting for it to end.
Eventually the hail ended and all that was left was a bunch of ice chunks on the ground. After a while Lauryn heard her doorbell ring, she walked outside and saw three people standing on the curb infront of her house. A red-headed woman walked over her, shaking Lauryn's hand and smiling.
"Hi! My name is Kaylynn, and these are my friends. We just wanted to greet you to the neighbourhood, make sure your settling in alright."
Lauryn just stared. The woman standing before her was beautiful. She could feel her face flushing slowly, and she quickly hid it.
"Uhm, hi, uh. My name i-is Lauryn Foster. Nice to meet you too, th-thanks for coming."
Kaylynn giggled, "No need to be shy, we won't bite!"
Lauryn laughed a little, and for the rest of the day she spent it getting closer with Kaylynn.
Before Kaylynn was going to leave, she had titled her head near Lauryn's ear, whispering her a thank you for the great time. Lauryn shook, truely happy for once in her life. She didn't know how she had managed to fall so hard for Kaylynn, but she had. Shaking still, she eventually took a shower to calm her nerves.
The next morning, Lauryn woke with a huge smile plastered on her face. 'Today's the day I start raking in that dough' she thought proudly to herself, getting ready for her first day of work.
While she was finishing the last bit of her cereal, though, she recieved a call from Kaylynn asking if she could come over. Lauryn looked at the clock, deciding that there was enough time to hang out with Kaylynn for a bit, and invited her over.
As soon as Kaylynn rang the doorbell, Lauryn was rushing through the door in a minute. She couldn't hold in her desire any longer, and swept Kaylynn in for a huge kiss. Afterwards, Lauryn blushed redder then a tomato for her abruptness, but Kaylynn just giggled and teased Lauryn for being so shy.
The two lovebirds spent hours together, but eventually Lauryn heard honking coming from outside. She looked out the window and noticed the car that was supposed to pick her up for work parked outside. She looked at Kaylynn and smiled sadly, "I guess I'll talk to you later.." Kaylynn walked up to Lauryn and hugged her, kissing her sweetly.
"We'll hang out again soon, okay? Promise. You go off to work now, I should be getting home anyway."
Lauryn was all grins when she got back from work that day, having been promoted to Private Eye after solving an investigation involving a missing cat ending up in the toilet bowl. She was very proud of herself, and quite happy.
When she noticed the flower infront of her mailbox, though, she was all the more happier. It was from Kaylynn, with a cute little poem written on the attached card. She swooned, and placed the flower on her kitchen table, smiling from ear-to-ear for such a great day so far.
Soon after getting cleaned up after the work day, a woman by the name of Danielle Lillard called for Lauryn, asking if she wanted to hang out with her and Kaylynn. Lauryn was so excited, immediately saying yes. She went out to her telescope, looking up at the stars while waiting for the taxi to come pick her up.
The girls all had a great time, having lots of laughs and sharing the latest gossip. Eventually Danielle called it a night, so it was just Lauryn and Kaylynn left.
"Well, I have been wanting to go buy a new outfit for sometime..." trailed off Lauryn. "Let's go shopping then!" smiled Kaylynn, and they hopped into a taxi to the Salon and Boutique.
Only, of course, to be met by this. I did save, so the game didn't go too far, so I'll just have to replay it up until that point. Update soon, but I got sick of playing Sims because it was going extremely slow with the rest of my computer and then THIS.. Grrrr.
Also, I know theres LOTS of mistakes and such but please bear with me.. This is my first time writing this way .
Well, hope you enjoyed it!
