Yayyy update for meeee!!

Naughty Kirk, sneaking around and scaring people!! I hope Margo doesn't take after him in his mean ways... worried since she does in the looks department! I still think she's really cute though. Hopefully she'll grow a bit more of a top lip as she grows up.. we don't want that curse!

Love that Jude painted a spore creature! I remember when we all posted pics of ours on here! Hehe.

And yayy for Jett inheriting the police cruiser! Glad to see it's being kept in the family

Sorry that I've kinda been MIA these past few days. Have got a very important essay due on the 19th and I've been cramming my little brain with much information

Oh dear...that fire...complete chaos! But it brought baby Margo...and hehe at Marcellette putting her in the bushes for safety.

You say you're worried about what Margo will look like? As a toddler she is UTTERLY ADORABLE! Look at those big brown eyes! She does look like she's got a bit of the 'absence-of-the-upper-lip' going on, but you never know, her other features might compensate that

It was Margo's birthday and Jude was on his way to collect her from the nursery and bring her to the cake when he paused and started to sparkle.


At the ripe ol' age of 93 Jude Langdon passed over to the other side of life.


I am thinking I need to change the location of the nursery now... Death has spent so much time in there it can' be good. :/


Kirk went through bouts of cry and evil laughing, his poor conflicted soul just doesn't know how to react.


Aww.. poor little Margo.


With the sad business of Jude passing every one went to bed early and postponed Margo's birthday till the next morning.

Wow! Jude got a huge head stone!


The family has cleared away some space in the back yard and added a playground for Margo and all furtur generations to come


few nights last jude came back to check out all the changes


And upstairs Marcellette woke up from a sound sleep... BUMP! another baby!

Can't believe the family had to cope with another death spoiling a special day though! And in the nursery!!

Hope the new baby is a little brother for Margo. And hope he doesn't inhetit Kirk's evil gene!

I have an update for you all

Mimi is happy to be a grandma again.


And then she sets to fixing her broken lap top.. I didn't realize that staring at it and jabbing it with a screwdriver was how you fixed laptops.


Kirk had an assignment from his boss to befriend Kalynn Langdon (I am not sure about the first name spelling) She is the wife of Jack Langdon. When Kirk arrived at the house Jepson's wife was in labor! (Yeah both Jack and Jepson continued to live together even after getting married )

A few sim days later I checked the family tree to see if i could find out what Jepson and his wife had.. they had a little girl and sadly she... died? Her picture is still of her as an infant, but it is grayed out like when someone has passed on and in addition to the two traits she got at birth she has the added "can apprehend burglars" which I have never seen even for adults. I had no idea babies could die!

A few days later Kirk was at the park and ran into Mary Ajhejet... this was the girl that was Jude's high school sweetheart. I just like running across all these other sims around the town and seeing what they have done with their life.


Marcellette has been extra tired taking care of a toddler and being pregnant again.


But she doesn't have to have much longer to wait because a few evenings later...


meet Keir Langdon... He inherited the evil trait... and picked up the insane trait O.O wont he be a bundle of joy.


Kirk how ever is very happy to have a son that takes after him.


umm... A few ueventful days later and Marcellette is feeling ill again.


And a bit later that day there is another BUMP!

As for the Jepson's baby.. I had no idea they could die either?! I've never seen that before! Or the "apprehending burglars" thing...

I was curious about this and have been meaning to look it up and see if it really was possible or something else happened. I found this thread on MTS and apparently it is totally true that babies and toddlers CAN die in Sims3. Quite a few people on that thread had babies die and just like mine that died in game they were on the non-active households. I think Pescado explains it best "Babies can't normally die from starvation, but the "Kill Sim" story progression event will randomly kill a sim due to a random cause of death, and babies can be killed by this method. This is EA's brilliant "story progression" mutilating your sims at random."

But I will let you in on a little secret. i felt so sorry for Jepson and his wife losing their infant daughter that I went active on their house for a little bit and had them adopt another child to fill the hole that Jamie Langdon left with her all too early passing.

And to Debearrr you should note that I update my story when I see there has been a bit of activity on the thread

Awwww I wasn't expecting to see Jude die as soon as I came back to CF from my essay break R.I.P. Jude! Scary how he died before an age transition like Jasper...

LOL that picture of Kirk feeding Keir...he looks positively evil! I could caption that picture, but I won't, seeing as that is HIS son and all! He shouldn't be having evil, conflicted thoughts about his own son hehe.

I can't believe that EAxis has set it up so babies can be killed off Poor babies...evil EAxis! I say we flame them with mutilated cookies!

So like Katie, because I went MIA for a few days...do I get a welcome back update?

I am not going to lie and say I am mad at EAxis for allowing sim babies and toddlers to die in this game as it brings realism to the game, I am just annoyed it was my family

And oh no I think I have started something horrible with giving into demands for updates after coming back from a break from CF I'm gonna have to work on ignoring you people a bit more... but not today cause I have an UPDATE!!! Umm.. I meant to update last night but got too tired cause I had been up since early that morning working... so yeah... this update is in no way related to you asking for one.. yeah yeah.. that's my story.

I finally remembered to look at Kirk's traits and write them down so you can all see the truly weird and conflicted Kirk that Marcellette deals with every day. He is flirty, unlucky (though if you ask me he got really lucky landing a girl like Marcellette), genius, evil and friendly.
His father was Xander Clavell (Xander's parents were Bessie and Buster Clavell) and his mother was Madison Vanwatson. Though his mom and dad never married so he took the Vanwatson last name. Madison Vanwatson was apparently the first in her line as there were no parents listed for her.

Everyone came home from their days activities totally hungry and found things to occupy them while still staying in the kitchen waiting for Marcellette to finish cooking dinner.
(I found this really funny as they did this all themselves without any influence from me at all)


After dinner Kirk showed his good father side and helped Margo with her homework.


It's birthday time in the Langdon house again! little Keir is turning toddler.


Oh my.. he needs a bit of a make over O.O


Ahhh.. that's better. Here is the little insanely evil tyke after his make over.


A day or so later Marcellette went out to pick up a bowl that someone left out front when she went into labor!


Nat wanting to put on a show for the neighbors she ran inside to have her child in some privacy.
Mimi and Kirk both tried the Rawr-gonna-scare-that-baby-right-outta-you technique... Marcellette was not amused.
Me: Guys she is having a baby.. not the hiccups


After a not too long time Kaden Langdon was brought into this world. He inherited the genius trait from his father and picked up the loner trait.


Kaden's birth happened to fall on Marcellette's birthday!


She didn't change at all!

(though she went to change out of the maternity wear and her hair changed then.)

And what Langdon birthday would be complete with out a death!?


Yep at the ripe age of 97 Mimi Langdon has come to her end.


Despite reaching her LTW she still begs Grimmy to let her stick around a while longer, but he is not one to bargain.


Marcellette decided she needed a more mature look for her adult years, not to mention before the last pregnancy she had been promoted at the hospital and she needs a more sophisticated look.


A few days later there is yet another birthday. (thank goodness all the old people are already dead for this one O.O)
Margo is entering her teen years.


Here she is as a teen.


She is not too bad and the smallish upper lip doesn't bother me so much as does the amount of space between the upper lip and the nose
After a little make over.... and if you haven't guessed Margo's favorite color is in the green family.

Oh and... Some time in the future there is a HUGE scandal with the family... dun dunn dunnnnnnn!

Aww Dizzyyy!! I was just really enjoying that lovely long update thinking how nice you were... and now I realise you're holding out on a scandal?!?! Meanie! You best get round to posting it soon!!

I think Margo makes a pretty teen, her face is an interesting shape. She looks much better with the hair you gave her at the end. Speaking of hair, I like Marcellette's more sophisticated look!

Margo is pretty much the total female version of Kirk. I don't think she has any part of Marcellette to her other than inheriting Mimi's eye color through Marcellette.
Will be interesting to see what her children will look like when she gets around to having them.

HUGE PROBLEM!!!!

As you can see I have a huge problem with my game.. especially my legacy family

I had a sim teaching a toddler to talk and as usual i did the super speed through task. Once the toddler learned to talk I set the time back to normal, only the sim and the toddler are now STUCK in the learn to talk action. No matter how much I cancel it out..it even has an X on it they continue to sit there doing the action. Unfortunately i saved when she learned to talk before I realized they were stuck so when i found they were stuck in the action I couldn't just quite with out saving. Even after loading the game again they are still stuck in the action. I thought maybe if I turned on move objects and moved them away from each other it might snap them out of it, but no... they are still stuck. :/

Do any of you have any suggestions? the only other thing i can think of at this time is to turn move objects back on and just delete the two sims... but that seems really sad. Also do you know if I do just delete them if that will have any other negative effects on my game?

Thanks in advance if any one has any ideas.

I had this before Dizzy!

You need to reset the adult sim

Open up the cheat console + type resetSim and their name and it'll work. It'll make them be unstuck, no bad effects!

Margo is really good about helping out around the house, especially with the younger kids.


One night Ghost Jude was wandering around the house and then all of the sudden he was gone in a puff of green smoke O.O I had never seen that before.


Birthday time... Kirk is entering his adult years.


He looks exactly the same. It's very rare that I have sims age up and still wear the same clothes, but both Marcellette and Kirk did o.O


Margo met a new friend Jessica. (she is actually the daughter of a sim I made ages ago that has been growing in the hood and Mary Ajhjet... yes the girl that was Jude's high school sweet heart. She had a late life romance.)


Margo also met Jessica's twin brother Torrey.


They REALLY got on well and Margo ended up getting her first kiss.


Kirk has been promoted to henchman... and now he gets to wear a dorky mask.


I am not sure if this is the evil or the insane trait kicking in, but as soon and Marcellette set the bowl of food down Keir took a big hand full and slopped it all over the high chair.


And then just tossed the whole thing on the floor.. breaking the bowl.

I have never seen the toddles slop the food on the highchair and make it dirty nor toss the bowl on the floor. It has to be one of his traits.. I am not sure which though as he's the first evil and insane sim i have played since birth. He does it every time he's put in the highchair so he has to be fed on the floor with a bottle always.

The guy Margo was kissing is not too bad looking. i was going to do this suspense thing with what guy she ends up with, but I forgot about it half way through... so i only have a picture of the back of this dude's head.... and the other.... ...never mind.. have said to much.

:/ I am not exactly sure where the wall paper is. I downloaded so many patterns. It might be by anyuff(something like that) from TSR or from someone on MTS. If i run across it again i will tell you where it's from i promise.
