Kendall learned it from Jasper.... Who jasper learned it from I don't remember. But I think once you are pretty good friends with someone in the foreign country you eventually get the option to learn a song. There is a song for each country too I need to get some sims to learn another song..lol
It can be a little annoying as this son has spread like wild fire through the town, but at the same time a little cute because they will also sing i while in the shower and while they are cooking they'll sing it to themselves.

Jude painted portraits of Jasper an Kendall... I like his artistic take on them.


Aww... Jasper loves being a grandpa and whether he was planned for or not he's happy Mimi and Jude had Jett.


Kendall is happy also to have woken up to find a new grand baby.


Mimi is busy writing her 13th novel!


Jasper was playing with his moodlet controller and got a little mischievous and zapped Jude.


Jude has started work on another Brilliant masterpiece... he hopes.


So I realized Jasper and Kendall are getting up there in age.. like 89 as of this update and I was wondering how long they lived in this game. I mean last game it was depending on how happy you kept them and they could live a long while THEN i remember in TS3 we set the life length mine is set at normal... meaning they live to be 90 sim years/days old.. meaning Jasper and Kendall only have two sim days to live!
Which got me thinking how said to actually know when they go :(And I donno if Jasper and Kendall knew their days were numbered or not, but they woke up that day and wanted to spend a LOT of time with their grand kids and the rest of their family.

Hehe I love that picture of Jasper zapping Jude with the moodlet controller - Jude doesn't seem phased by it, but that look upon Jasper's face is intense!

To my eyes that looks like a Perfect masterpiece... although then again I am no artist

It's upsetting when it rolls around to that time, I know.

At least Jasper and Kendall have had a good life! Lots of kiddies, grandkiddies, happiness. It'll be sad to see them go though

I think the most upsetting thing was actually knowing when the sim will die. I then sat there just waiting for it to happen thinking how sad my founders are going to die the next day.
Anyways... back to the family.

The ol' computer has broken down.... again. They have had to call the repair man out so many times I have lost count not to mention they totally replaced it once already. (new option I found when an object has been repaired a bunch of times you eventually get option to just replace it with a new one of the same model).


Mimi has been doing pretty good with her writing and Jude is making a bit of money off his painting and occasional playing guitar in the park so they decided to upgrade their computer to the next model.


So as I said.. I realized while playing one day that Jasper and Kendall were 89 sim day/years old! O.O I made sure they got lots of family time as i was expecting them to just drop dead the next day. (Until now I had not had a sim die in my TS3 game.) So the next day dawns and nothing happens.... hmmm. I think well maybe it happens at like 6 or 7 when the birthday notices usually come.... nope.. nothing. Now I am a bit annoyed because I have set myself up for my two founders to die and now they are not! *annoyed sigh*
Well the rest of the sims can't just sit around watching the old ones waiting for them to die... life must go on. So 2 days later it's Jett's birthday.. Oh happy day!
So I thought. -.-
Jasper had gone into the nursery to bring Jett to the cake when all of the sudden there was a long pause and then jasper set him on the ground. The whole entire action of Jett's birthday was canceled! O.O What the heck is wrong with my game I am thinking. I try three more times to have Jett blow out the candles and my game like ignores me. All of the sudden Jasper gets all sparkly and then POOF! He's a ghost!


Seriously! You choose NOW! Your Grandson's birthday to die! *face palm*
Next thing I know Grimmy is showing up.... in the bathroom o.O

*Sorry for walls down.. Grimmy appeared int he next room and it was too tight.

Jasper agrees with Grimmy that he's had a nice long life.. 92 years old and has seen two beautiful grandkids and is happy to go. Although I donno how Jude feels about this "deal" being made through his chest. O.O


I just thought this picture of Marcellet was sooo heart rending Poor thing. She loved her grandfather and how he'd read with her all the time.


And poor little Jett.. it was still his birthday. I was finally able to get every one together around the cake.


Here he is as a toddler. Aww.. he has Jude's color.. which was also Jasper's eye color.

Oh dear me.... I have been playing all day and I have a horrible problem! It seems a love triangle has arisen in my game and I donno what to do about it :/ It's causing a bit of drama in my game too.




*EDIT (after many many hours) So been playing the night away.. had TONS happen and all of the sudden just now my game just shuts down! Out of the blue.. no warning of any kind. My sims were actually in motion not freezing and there was never a crash error after it closed. No "This app has made an error and had to close".. nothing! :/ Ugh.. it's nearly 3am and I donno if I want to load the game again to even see where it was saved last and how much play time was lost.
Do any of you know if the game auto saves after coming home from a trip?? *crosses fingers* if it does then I haven't lost nearly as much as I fear.

No you are right it does not auto save
But the bright side is I had for what ever reason done a save myself and it was not as far back in playing as I originally thought so I didn't loose too too much. It was easy to regain what I had done with almost the same effects.

Oh, I see...damn, seeing a Sim-love-triangle would have been really awesome! Although I've just read your next post Diz: did the love-triangle still happen?

Occasionally my game likes to crash to the desktop with no warning, so recently I have been very save-button happy. It's really annoying though, stupid game.

LOL.. sorry about the confusing posts. Yes the love triangle did still happen.. i am a bit a head of what I am post (no that i got my love for playing back). So the love triangle happen.... you'll see.. soon-ish. I played some and thank goodness for some reason i did a save manually. Some more stuffs happened like a wedding and honeymoon and it was after the trip that all of the sudden for no reason at all the game just shut down. I have actually not really had crashing problems with this game so it was a bit of a shock for me. My troubles just started recently when i updated it.. figures. Anyway.. I have been saving myself more frequently now and like I said what I lost was not so far back as i first thought. The sims had already been in love so I just rushed through the marriage a bit more than what the pictures will show as i took them the first time around.... but everything is all the same in the end.

I seriously was not happy with Jasper for choosing then to go. I mean had he actually gone on day 90 when he was supposed it it would have been fine.. but poor Jett!

Mimi is indeed a Romance Novelist, although she started off as a Fiction writer. But soon after getting the title of Fiction writer she wrote a Romance novel just to see if she could and she loved it and it was a Hit so she switched over to become a Romance Novelist. As I said I am a bit further along in the story in actual playing so as a little spoiler I'll let you know that at the moment in game Mimi is working on a 'Masterpiece' though it's taking forever and she is not even half ways through.

I am really happy with Marcellette. She is one of my favorite born in game sims i think ever! I love her look as an adult too... I will let it slip that in my opinion she grew to be quite a beauty.

Jude entered a guitar competition and WON!!! It was a lot of money too.. I didn't see exactly how much, but I did see the family funds got up significantly.


The next day he was working on his latest painting and what do you know.. he reached his life time want!!


Jude thought he was having such a great week that he'd take a trip back to Al Simhara and finish some adventures he started the last time he was there.

Jude: *looks up distractedly*
Me: I seriously don't think you should be digging your hand around in a snake basket! o.O


This time Jude decided to do a little non adventure exploring and went out to the Pyramid of the Sun.


After a while of exploring he found an underground garden. (by the way he's topless cause there is a bit of swimming in this pyramid and it wasn't just cause i wanted him to walk around half naked )


Jude: Is it hot in here or is it just me?
Me: no Jude it is you!


Jude inadvertently set off some boobie traps and got a little singed running to find water to put himself out in.


And apparently this was a magic pool because Jude came out not only unsinged, but in his day clothes as well...keke


Jude has some awesome cell phone carrier... he even gets service three level deep into a pyramid O.O


Jude found some more hidden boobie traps.... poor guy :/
But this one really was his own fault. He had already been by those and there is a wide path around them, but he choose to cut across them instead of going around them when leaving the room



Stay tuned for next time to see if Jude actually makes it out of Al Simhara alive this time or not

So i have been looking at my updates and I guess my "soon" was not as soon as i thought for getting to the juicy love triangleness, so I am going to combine a few updates into one post. Most my updates are fairly short anyways, plus I am excited to share some of the more current things that has happened in my game
So as a warning.. this post is twice as long as my normal ones... meaning more pictures to load.

After a rest Jude went exploring again.. this time to a pyramid he went to last time.... speaking of going places he went last time.. Um Jude wasn't there a Mummy in that tomb last time?! I really don't think you should go over there!


and I definitely don't think you should open it!

Thankfully there was nothing in here.. I guess the mummy was on vacation.

Jude took an adventure to harvest fire fruit >.> he may or may not have smuggled some home to bring to Kendall. <.<


After a bit more exploring Jude set himself on fire.... again


Water was a little closer this time though.


After even MORE exploring Jude got to a section of the pyramid where the boobie traps were on the wall too! O.O After that he said he'd had enough of that place and he had to leave.

A day or two later Jude decides to explore the tomb at the Sphinx and starts it off in a very encouraging way....


But he made it though and finished the whole thing... or at least one part of it.. i forget. Either way he go to this glowy statue!


His trip was over not too long after that and as soon as he got home he went straight to bed!


**NOTE** You'll notice again a few changes to the house.. and this time there was structure change... just extended some walls in the back of the house.

The next day Kendall got all sparkly


And then got all shiny and heard someone calling her from up above.


Then POOF!


Awww, poor Jude and Marcellete, but Kendall had a great life and she was 96 years/days old.


Grimmy pointing and telling Kendall she is dead... Yo Grimmy I think she can figure it out for herself.. she is see through now after all


Kendall seemed pretty happy to go and join Jasper finally.


This picture just made me think "what a jerk!".. the poor family is heart broken over Kendall's passing and Grimmy is having a blast.


Grimmy then surprised me by heading down the hallway to the nursery O.O What.. what the heck do you think you are doing! No one else is dying and certainly not Jett.. you have no business here!


Grimmy stayed and just watched Jett playing for a few hours and then he poofed in a puff of smoke... creepy.


Jude inherited Jaspers modlet controller and he tried to cure Mimi of her grief, but instead it accidentally zapped her of all her energy.


She tried to make it to the nearest bed in Marcellette's room, but didn't get that far before passing out.

Jude seems to have such fun on his holidays/vacations! Well, he seems to have fun when he's avoiding getting electrocuted or setting himself on fire hehe. That glowy statue is really cute though, don't think my Simmies have seen that yet! (although Edith has seen quite a few mummies, especially up close and personal )

I love Jude's hand-on-hip pose in that picture...it screams "yeah, I've reached the end, I know I'm awesome!".

R.I.P. Kendall, you will be missed! At least she's reunited with Jasper now

I have found it works on the first person how it should and then if you try and use it on someone right after it zaps them instead of cures them.

Oi! I am sorry for the confusion. You know me i usually do an odd quirky thing with the names. When heirs were voted on I'd have you guys choose a between three letters and the winning one would be that generations letter the names would all start with. On my last legacy i had the kids' names all start with the same letter as the person that married into the family.
And for this one i decided that all male childrens' names will start with the same letter that the male parent's name starts with and the female children with the letter the female parent's name starts with. These last two generations there have been a lot of J's and I'll warn you.. next *cough* few generations there are a bunch of M's >.>

lol.. I am still really anxious to get to the juicy love stuff that recently happened in my game so following this post will be another update!!

Like last time this update is actually combining a few together for a longer post (although the longer posts are just about the size my legacy updates used to be the last time i did a legacy o.O ).

Wow! Jude is turning elder already. Sim time just flies when you are having fun.


Here is old Jude.. not too bad.


One day Marcellette was at the public library and ran into one of her very good friends, Emilie, from school who had been a senior last year and is now out of school.


Now I usually would not pass on gossip, but this little tid bit let on that Bella Bachelor had a child!

Later almost the same message came p except it said Mortimer Bachelor.. LOL... Morti took Bella's last name when they got married. In other odd town news.. Goth Manor is no longer the Goth house... the Bunches now live there o.O So odd how sims will move around.

Marcellette also tells the amusing and slightly frightening story of how Grim Reaper stalked her little brother!


Speaking of her little brother.. It's Jett's birthday.

It has taken quite a while, but we finally have our first ghost sighting! Hey there Jasper!


Apparently Jasper had a little chatting to do. I am not sure what upset him but for no reason he just started banging his head against the keyboard... it was very strange.


The noise woke Marcellette up and she got a bit of a shock when she found the source.


The next morning Jasper had some fun by haunting an old newspaper and scaring the paperboy.

I seriously thought Jasper would have poofed by now.. i mean ghost in the sims2 went away in the day.

Another thing i had no idea about is ghost need food o.O Jasper got some left over cake out of the fridge and startled poor cowardly Jett.


A few days later while hanging out with her old school friend Emilie when Emilie's younger brother, Aaron, showed up. He had been studying abroad, but is now back in town to finish his senior year.


Marcellette and Aaron hit it off well it seems...


REALLY well as they are now going steady.


Meanwhile back at home... we gots levitating pots! O.O


Which wore Jasper out and he had to go take a nap o.O Ghost take naps now?!

Before I actually talk about the latest update, I have to say that made me LOL.

In that picture of Jett and the beginning he looks like he's having a 'Eureka' moment. "Eureka! I've just figured out where I can place this coloured block."

To me, Jude looks so much like Jasper as an elder.

LOL Morty Bachelor. Just doesn't have the same ring to it as Morty Goth! About the Sims moving around thing, I find it awesome but I also find it annoying. Often I go to houses expecting to see a particular family there, only to find that they have moved somewhere else Then I have to search for them

LOLS! Okay because you asked so nicely here's the next update and like the last it's a bit long cause I have combined 2 of them together.

Mimi has been doing so well with her royalty checks that she splurged and replaced the family computer with a neat new sleek lap top.


Aww.. poor Kendall's garden. Since her passing it's been a little neglected and she spent so much time on it.


Speaking of sims that have passed... I heard water running and found it was ghost Jasper o.O


So i thought Jett was a late life baby, but it seems Jude would like another!


Ohh.. another Ghost has arrived! This will be the first sighting of Kendall.


And it looks like she needs to be in better shape for the after life.


Ghost Jasper picked up some ghost dirt and grossed Kendall out by licking it.


Jude has no problems running into his recently passed mother.


Bella Bachelor came over to visit with Mimi (she is a co-worker from the newspaper) and Bell brought her and Motri's baby.
I forget her name.. it's something like Erin or the like.. I was a little disappointed her name was not Cassandra.


Ohh.. and looking at the bump it looks like she is expecting another!


After school one day Marcellette was invited over to a new friend's house.. This is Kirk something or other.


Trying to get to know Kirk a bit Marcellette gossips a bit... but I think it was a little rude as it was about one of her uncles.

*Since then I have found that Jepson married the last Landgrabb in my game and is stinking rich! Which was great for his Gold Digger LTW. Now he just has to hope he out lives her to see her ghost. His wife took his name so the Landgrabb mansion says Langdon over it.. kinda nice

Marcellette and Kirk hit it off really well. There was a lot of hugging and hand holding and staring longingly into each others' eyes.

Jett had just finished having a snake after school when he stood up and the table started floating.

She was so excited for her birthday...

When she finally aged up she looked very unpleased.... It's okay Mimi, we;ll give you a nice make over.
