Having completed Dizzy University Jude decided to take a trip abroad to grow a bit more into his young adulthood... here are a few pictures from the trip.

Those two pictures look awesome! I haven't pre-ordered World Adventures (shock horror! Must been one of the first expansion packs I haven't pre-ordered) but from those two photos it looks like fun. Roll on Christmas!

Or knowing me I'll probably end up buying it before Christmas as I'm an impatient little bugger... hehe

Back at the Langdon family house.. Jasper has gotten another promotion! And this time to International Super Spy.. which was his Life time want!! WOO!!! (first one ever that has reached their LTW in my Sims3 game )


Jude returned home that night from his travels abroad.... and he had someone with him o.O


Coming through the door all smiles Jude hugged his family and then pulled forward his companion and introduced her to every one.
Jude = Guys i'd like you to meet Mimi.... My wife!!!

it seems Jude met Mimi while she too was traveling abroad and one thing lead to another and they got hitched O.O
(please ignore the absence of actual wedding rings.. for some reason my game is not showing them)
I didn't take any pictures because I thought it was too private a moment, but Mary did not take the news that her boyfriend got married while he was away. She thought they would be together forever as she was going to be graduating soon after he got back Although my new av is of Jude during the arguing that happened that night.

Few nights later it was the twin's birthday.. here is Jack

The next morning after turning teen, Jack went up to see if his mother had a good night's sleep, but the real reason for the picture was to show off his game generated pj outfit.. kekeke

Out of the twins however, Jepson looks the hottie, especially in all that leather. Methinks a touch of the 'bad boy' in him?

so sorry there have been no updates on this lately. Things have been crazy due to the holidays and then a few days ago my uncle passed :/ I have kinda lost the zest to play at the moment.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear about your uncle. It's tough losing a family member any time of the year, but somehow.... during holidays.. it's that little bit worse. Especially when families are close.

We understand and don't worry, we'll still be here, waiting patiently for your return. In the meantime take care of yourself.

I played a bit a few weeks ago... Here is what I got

I played very little because i was quite frustrated when i went in game and found a bunch of my downloads MISSING! And among them things I bought off of the SIMS3 Store! I have read that with the last patch they broke the way cc goes into the game so it stopped a lot from showing up oh joy. I have not really been in the mood to try and sort it out to play more though.

I started playing TS3 again a few days ago after a long break...when I discovered this I was so angry!! I love my store stuff and it upset me so much! I was glad when I found something on MTS about how to fix it.

I'm also annoyed that the installer doesn't work properly - I've got loads of .Sims3Packs I want to install but they don't install correctly! Apparently it's been a problem for ages but EAxis don't seem to be getting off their butts to fix it.

Jasper and Kendall are cute elders! Love that outfit Jasper aged up into, I do love a cardigan!

I didn't notice it before but Mimi's got the trademark TS3 chubby cheeks! I think they're adorable on her, but I have to say it annoys me sometimes on my own simmies.

She seemed much more chubby in CAS than in game play.. it's odd.

So there is a fix over at MTS you say?? And I totally know what you mean about the stupid installer not working. Is very frustrating. I may go check out the fix at MTS for the broken downloads.. and then see about playing a bit. i have been wanting to.

**EDIT: Do you happen to have a link for the download at MTS that made the broken CC work again? i can't seem to find it.

This is what worked for me, a bit of poking a prodding around in my main TS3 folders seemed to restore my previously missing CC: www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=382520

Hehe I would have never guessed you'd made Mimi if you hadn't said.

I actually don't blame you for using your own Simmies, I'm starting to question my own faith in EAxis-made Sims. I started a legacy the other day, and last night I had the first-born turn into a teenager...he's a little odd looking to say the least. The mother (my own Simmie) and the father (EAxis) are both quite pretty, I can't understand it!

Thank you soooo Much Kate! That worked and my items are back... was mainly upset that the victorian and steampunk things were gone and those were ones I actually bought myself :/.

Having my items back has put me in the mood to play so I have a little update on my family. (*taps screen* that is if anyone is still out there)

Jude and Mimi had finally recovered from their last trip (where they met and got married) So they thought it high time they went off on another adventure.. this time to Paris!
Mimi was too tired from the long flight there and laid down to take a nap. While she was napping Jude thought he'd see a few sights that were around their hotel, but before he got too far he noticed a "HELP NEEDED" flyer on the message board in front of the hotel. He figured it would be a good way to kill some time and see some of the city so he pulled off the notice and went straight away to the address listed.
Turns out the person needing help had lost something in the old tombs and needed a brave soul to go and fetch it for them. Jude didn't hesitate at all and accepted the task. He figured it would be a snap as he has already faced Mummies in Egypt.

Jude is braver than I and there is no way I would have stuck my hand in a dark hole and start poking about O.O

*phew* no bugs that time

He did however find secret chamber a few levels down with the remains of a person... not something you want to run into while exploring I would think. At least these did not wake up to come after him.


Well it took him most of the night, but Jude found the lost item and returned it to the guy. But he was so tired from his night of exploring that he chose to sleep instead of going out sight seeing with Mimi. Mimi didn't want to spend another day inside so she checked the message board and what do ya know.. there was another 'HELP NEEDED" sign up from someone else. Mimi took the job and was soon off to patrol the art museum to see if anything weird was going on... seems all the other guards keep quitting. She didn't see much other than a couple gnomes that kept moving around and turning up in the oddest places.


She did find a secret basement. I told her to not go down there.. that it was very rude, but she did not listen to me. she moved around a few statues and found some money long forgotten... which she took.. *tsk tsk*


But nothing else really happened that night and when she reported back the Lady with the job asked her to investigate one more night, and again nothing happened. I guess we'll have to wait till Mimi and Jude save up enough money to go back to Paris to find out if there was more down there, because their trip ended before Mimi was finished investigating.
They both have earned enough points on their visas to take longer trips so that is great! Now they just have to save up the money to afford the longer trips

When they got home it was just in time for Kolleen's birthday!


And here she is as a young adult... aww.. they grow up to fast.

I'm still here and I'm still reading!! *taps screen back* I was thinking of posting my legacy but I'm not actually sure who'll read it

All Simmies seem to be braver than I am lol...even my most cowardly Sim can put her hand in those dark holes. But heck if that were me I'd run a mile.

That gnome is sooooooooo cute!! I want one *grabby hands* I'm going to have to send someone to France to grab one so I can have them display it proudly at the front of their house

While I think of it, have you seen the Lifetime Reward named Prepared Traveller? It's great, it extends a time a Sim can stay in a particular place. So, for instance, if you want your Sim to go to Egypt for 3 days, he/she will actually get an additional 3 days so he/she will be going away for 6! My legacy founder has that reward, I love it

Glad they didn't miss Kolleen's birthday! Hehe. They do grow up too fast *wipes tear from eye*
