Pretty neat game so far but I do hate the way when you switch families you lose their wants . First baby born in game (this is almost a self sim *the mom*) I also don't like the way the bweebs almost gobbles up the poor kid. The baby is named Scott Gustav I can't for the life of me remember the mom's name. Better pic of Scott Gustav, the babies are kinda creepy to look at. I thought the pool actions were neat. The toddlers can now play in the toy boxes it is too cute.

;D Ask and you shall receive a few more pics for you...... starting to wonder if I shouldn't be making a story of this..... This one is of a new legacy family I'm starting in Riverview (I tossed the older Gustav family and will be doing a new family in the other town soon the Gustavs were my tester family) Meet Raven Hamilton who can't cook to save her life yes she is a rocker or right now a wanta be rocker which is why she is dressed so: She is also a slob, virtuoso, party animal, charismatic, kleptomaniac. Did I mention she can't cook? (btw she is the first sim who has caught anything on fire in my game) And again: Fire Truck: I kept wondering what was taking the fire truck so long to get there, I guess he was driving the speed limit instead of getting there fast enough to put it out :

Simmer, just a question, were there any updates through the EADM for you? I'm thinking my disc might be corrupted, and EADM is giving me no love.

OMG!!! YOU HAVE IT! I have a few questions for: What features (if any) are there in the base TS3 that came as EPs for TS2?? Like is there already weather? fishing? gardening? hobbies? dating? is there a "night life" club scene so to say? can you make businesses?

LOL! I finally managed to play a little yesterday, it was so cool (but i definitely need a knew graphics card...)
Diz There is gardening and fishing, but no weather. Nightlife stuff isn't apparent as much as i can tell, but i've only played for like and hour and a half. But from what i read prior, i don't think so. And sims are geared towards a specific gola they set for themselves, so they might like center their activities around whatever their goal is but there aren't hobbies like in Free Time.
Shell To change clothes, you click on your sim to where it says change clothes and a menu comes up with their clothes. ;D

Shell~ You don't have to pay for clothes anymore they are all included with the dresser, you are now free to switch clothing and such. My only BIG problem has been when toddler's age up and get a new trait, it doesn't show up! I'm trying to figure out how to get it to show up it has happened in the Gustav houses but I still haven't figured out why yet.

Thanks Anti and Simmer. Some things are just really annoying. Simmer has the mum (or dad) read the pregnancy book. My sim had a want for it and then the help thing poped up. It said something about reading it cause if you do then the parents will get more options, like getting to pick the childs first trait.

Yup one had but another couple didn't and when the toddler turns into a child the trait (either picked by me or the game) didn't show up but the child seemed like they had that trait anyways.

At yet another house in a different neighborhood meet young (teen) Bella Bachelor and Mortimer Goth: Ummmm yeahhh ok this is Morty giving some very rude/disturbing looks towards Bella's backside (on a side note Morty has a bad temper I've seen him throwing a fit over something in my game a couple times so I figure he has a Hot-Temper trait):

I noticed that it mentioned that the toddlers will get a new trait when they turn to a child. Perhaps they gain a trait between all stages up to young adult, except for infant/toddler, as they start with 2.

I love your pictures Sherry! Although I did have a giggle when you said: I also don't like the way the bweebs almost gobbles up the poor kid. Poor baby LOL The babies are a little creepy, I think I'm going to be frightened to look at them in game when my copy finally installs. It's so funny to see Bella and Mortimer as teenagers! Having been used to Morty as a grumpy old man in TS2 it's amusing to see that he was just as grumpy when he was younger - Bella is pretty, as always. Love your piccies, has made me desperate to play mine but the installation is taking forever!

Well I picked up my replacement disc today (uhhh, yesterday...) and just finished a solid 14 hours straight, aside from a 10min break I took earlier when I posted here and checked a couple of things. Bed time now, it's 4:15am
I am really liking the ability to change the sim lifespan, I have it set to 190 sim days now I think instead of the standard 90.
Be careful buying both parents the fertility treatment reward thinger, I did, and got triplets. Not so easy trying to run a household with 5 babies, then 5 toddlers, now 1 child and 4 toddlers. All kids are either fully trained (potty, walk, talk) or have about 1/4 bar left to go on their final one. My maid spends more time whinging about the crying than cleaning up, and I have noticed that different babysitters are better than others, but it's just the luck of the draw. Pity there's no nanny service in this one though.

Ok..how the hell do you change their life span. (I think i need to go read more forums rather then trying to play LOL)
Agree with you on the no nanny service, as useless as they were, they did come in handy with lots of kids LOL. LMFAO on the triplets though, sounds like fun LOL
I noticed Morty had that same look as a child to Simmer. He looked like he had sucked on a lemon!
I feel kind of silly for asking this, and i am sure the answer is very simple. But what the HELL is this 'story progression' everyone is talking (or complaining) about?

OK, to change the life span, it's in game options in the option menu.
Story progression is that the rest of the neighbourhood goes about their lives, and ages and everything along with the current family.

Hey.. just a note I am moving all our picture threads to the picture board. Thought (along with Kate) we could each run our own picture thread from there instead of (or maybe in addition to.. depending on how we end up doing things) each of the separate thread for like females, males etc...

No worries Shell, always happy to help.
I personally like the story progression stuff, saves on having all the childhood/teen friends staying children/teens as your sim gets older.
