I hate that message soooooo much!! It happened to me twice TWICE at the same time, on the same lot. And it was a house i really liked. So i moved them out, and it fixes the problem.....*sigh* You know what i hate, closing out the game period. Whenever my computer runs a "scan" it always takes me out of the game just to tell me that......UGH!

Hehe, oh to bring this back on topic I have another Sim Musing... although not directly appropriate... I hate when a Sim does something and then you get the dreaded: "The application has crashed. The application will now terminate." I never get that message when I crash in real life! Funny you should bring that up.. it just happened to me lat night while playing the Sorens and I hadn't saved in a while :/ And thanks for offering the game mod.. i finally got it to download... but I am afraid to put it in :/ Recently had more troubles with the game not loading.. but after like 3 hours of testing things i found out it was a download i got that totally ruined the files for my game with i had to force it to make new and then put my saved games into the new files @_@ I only had two new down loads (baby playpen with sleeping mat and a telescope that said it made aliens come) both had heavy game mods so now i am scared again to used any other hack type things other than insim :S also.. a bit off track, but i am not sure if i have found a new bug or what... it's happened to me now twice and I haven't seen any patches for it or mentions of it on the patches. This is new since AL, but the problem is my top level law enforcement sims.. (captain hero) ... the nanny doesn't get there right at 9am when they have to leave for work, but she comes a few mins later.. enough time for them to head off to work and still make it. So once the nanny is there they "walk to work"... and when they come home they are totally invisable except for their wedding ring and the plumbob when ever they are selected. o.O This has happened twice now... and thinking back it happened the same way.. they say they can't leave their kids and then once the nanny is there I have them walk to work.. and the come home invis. Have you guys had anything like this... have you read about anyone else having this trouble? Anyone brave enough to sacrifice a sim to see if you can get the same results?

You know what i hate, closing out the game period. Whenever my computer runs a "scan" it always takes me out of the game just to tell me that......UGH! Oh! When I had my old computer, my Norton Anti-Virus used to do that to me all the time if I played around the time of my daily scan, which was usually about 5pm. It would just minimise the game so I could see what it was doing, and then it would take about 5 minutes to click the game from the task bar and load it up. I'm using an Anti-Virus program which doesn't use up as much of your system resources now, and I have to play in windowed mode now anyway so it doesn't matter so much! I haven't had that happen, although I haven't really played the game properly recently. Haven't heard about it happening to others either... I'll do a bit of research for you and see what I can find.

Oh, that's weird Dizzy. I've never had that happen, either. I also don't have AL, so...? I've had kids come back from college and be shaded in like they are outside when it's dark out, but never invisible.

Something i have just recently noticed... that used to be a musing of mine. When sims first moved in they were given $20,000.. no matter the size of the household moving in.. they all got the same amount. But recently.. and I think it's since AL.. I have noticed that larger families get a bit more. One to two person households still get $20,000, but I have noticed that 3 or 4 person ones get like $35,000 and 8 person households get $55,000. It had always been one of my musings if there was a way to have larger families get more money... it only seemed fair. At least this one musing was answered Along these lines.. I have always thought it unfair that all the money earned yet unspent during uni is lost when moving back home... they get the standard $20k. They should be able to keep the money they made from either working or bonuses each semester. My feeling is they should get the base $20k PLUS what ever they earned in uni added on, because that's how it would be in rl o.O (or maybe this does happen now since AL and I have just not paid attention to that fact )

At least they don't take any debts with them from their uni days into adulthood like I did in real life!

awwww :/
Maybe that is Sims unexplained reason for taking all the money they earned... it paid for the debts so they only get the base $20k like all other sims....hmmm

I have new musing!!
So since all this mess with bad blind dates and such and people coming to leave flaming poo bags and knocking over garbage cans I have had a thought....
Sims should be afraid or nervous to do those things when someone in the law enforcement career track lives in the house. I mean seriously... would you go to a Captain hero's house and kick over his trash can O.O I know i wouldn't! So my musing is that careers of the sims living there effect behaviors of the other passer bys.
