Blossom Hills Asylum - FINAL UPDATE!! 16/4!

Ok I found some spare time and wanted to show you what I've been up to!
It's only brief but...

Feel free to read/ignore/comment/praise/slate!

This is my asylum challenge...

So let's take a look at the

Blossom Hills Asylum

Here is the lovely exterior:

And a plan of the inside:

Very lavish indeed!
(All maxis content as I haven't replaced all my lost downloaded furniture yet.. and we don't want anything too fancy in an asylum!)

Now to meet the patients...

This is Parker:

(He is my "controllable" sim)

He's a popularity sim.
And he's stuck in there until he manages to become a media magnate!

The rest of the bunch are:

Sarah:

(Aspiration - Family)

David:

(Aspiration - Knowledge)

Camille:

(Aspiration - Romance)

Polly:

(Aspiration - Fortune)

Shane:

(Aspiration - Romance)

Aston:

(Aspiration - Pleasure)

And Jenna:

(Aspiration - Popularity)

As the patients got settled in, the gossip quickly started.

It seems like Shane is going to be quite popular!

As some of the patients headed inside to check out the decor, Shane and Aston decided to play "Who can make the biggest splash?!"

Meanwhile inside Camille was playing in the bathtub...

Am beginning to see that there may be some justification in keeping some of the sims in here!

Very quickly a queue for the bathroom formed... but undeterred by this, Sarah decided she had to fully clean the toilet as well as flushing it after using it...

She then preceeded to make everyone a plate of sandwiches and before eating her own cleaned up everything she touched in the process!

I think she may quickly become Parker's favourite room-mate!

*hate* *hate* Jenna for using the toilet

*hate* *hate* *hate* Shane for being in the bath!

I can see only having one bathroom is going to get old verrryyy quickly!

Yep! Oh dear...

The asylum's first "accident".. right on Aston's feet Jenna!! Lovely...

But he's apparantly not to phased.. as Polly complained about the stench, he calmly mopped it up!

As night drew in, the 5 bed spaces quickly got taken and a poor tired Parker resorted to running around outside chasing some fire-flies with a jar to pass the time until somebody got up...

Will Parker ever manage to get some sleep??
Will Sarah continue to clean everything??
Will Jenna ever get over the fact she weed on the floor?!

Yeh it sucks bout my downloads... but it's not all bad I spose, I was due a clear out I just never got round to it!
And I got the chance to try out some new default eyes and skintones which am really liking

Day Two in the Blossom Hills Asylum...

And we have our first fire!!

Who started it I hear you cry?! Well, it was Mother Nature...

But that didn't stop an extreme reaction from two of the patients...

Culminating in Jenna sitting out in the lawn in her underwear yelling at the sky!

Thankfully after a few chicken impressions somebody appeared to offer her some "medication"...

Back inside, a jobless Parker was having to resort to fixing the broken shower/bathtub all by himself...

At least he enjoyed it though!

Apparantly poor Jenna couldn't wait for it to be fixed though... and an angry Sarah was left to clean up the mess.

Yikes! She really isn't happy...

An undeterred Jenna would rather talk to her "new friend" than have a shower though...

Oooookkkk...

As another night drew in, the patients all found themselves relatively comfortable places to catch some rest...

Well except David...

And Jenna who decided to head outside and spend some more quality time with her "friend"!

And Aston who decided he'd rather be outside jumping in some puddles at 4 in the morning!

And err.. Polly who chose to sleep on the floor in between the beds rather than in one...

Anyways...

The next morning Parker decided enough was enough, he needed to work towards getting himself out of there! So he found some work. There were no openings in journalism so he settled for the next best thing, a career in politics!

He could find out plenty of scandalous gossip and then use it to break into the world of news!

The rest of the day passed relatively uneventfully until a VERY unwanted guest payed the asylum a visit!

I am as baffled as they are!!!

One minute he was cycling away, the next minute, dead!

RIP David...

The next morning Parker headed off for his first day at work...

(Dear god help them all!!)

Much to my horror, as Parker had barely left the street I realised most of the patients were starving and due to the lack of funds there was no food in the fridge!!

It's ok though I thought, they'll eat the left-overs, there's plenty of those!

Apparantly however, this was not the case, as the lack of food caused Sarah to become even more agitated with Jenna!

And then... the horror....

NO!!! Not Shane!!
Not another exercise bike related death!! I thought the only thing I had to fear would be the stove??!

I know it's cheating but I don't care! I am deleting that dam thing.. wish I'd never bought it in the first place!!
*curse* *curse*

RIP Shane...

Parker finally arrived home from work! Not a moment too soon...

Yes he'd had a good day but all I cared about was a fully stocked fridge!! I don't want them all dying after 3 days...

After the rest of the patients were all fed and taken care of though, Parker found some time to check the newspaper again and...

Woohoo! One step closer to getting that LTW and getting himself outta here!!

That evening Polly decided not to sleep on the floor... But to spend the cold dark winter night outside birdwatching!

The next day relations between Sarah and Jenna got even worse!

So Camille decided to hide out from the conflict in her favourite place...

As Parker headed off to start the day at his new job...

Will there be any patients left when he gets back?!
Will there be any new patients to replace poor David and Shane??! (Yes I know it's cheating but that's how life gets interesting ok! )

I have heard of pregie sims dying on the runner thing (name is escaping me atm) but never the bike LOL.
And i did the same thing when i had my asylum sims did, just added more LOL

Asylum Challenge!!!! Eeeeeeeep!!! Ok I haven't read it yet as I type this, but I shall do now. Changing tabs to read...

Am back and have read it so far!!

It's looking crazy, as should be, tee hee! I was anticipating lots of fires as that is what I got used to happening in mine, but I'm shocked as the deaths were caused by exercise bike!

I like Parker, he's cute. Hehehe. ^_^

And you're not as shocked as I was!! Dam exercise bike...

Am glad you think Parker's cute! I didn't originally make him to be good looking... (unlike Shane - sob!) but he turned out interesting looking and I really think he's got something about him. That's why I made him my chosen controllable sim, I didn't want to see him suffer!

I had a sick day today! I've been really poorly all morning But into the afternoon after dinner I picked up a bit so I put in some playing time... so hopefully I'll have time to put together an update on sunday.

Some time later...

From the big sim bin in the sky I give you...

Josh (Fortune sim)

and...

Jason (Pleasure sim)

Welcome to the asylum boys!

Despite them arriving together, Jason very quickly decides he's not actually that keen on Josh!

Thank goodness there's lots of other patients for them to socialise with then... and no exercise bike!

Err... way to go Jason, now it's your turn to be disliked! Talk about going in heavy, you only just met!! Maybe that's why he's in there... social issues...

Meanwhile, outside the front of the house:

Great, and Parker is at work! Bring on an infestation Pleeasseee pick it up somebody!!

A quick check shows the most likely candidate to clean up the mess, Sarah, is clearly too busy...

Evilling poor Jenna while she reads the paper! *sigh*

When Parker comes home from work that afternoon, I buy a treat for the patients, a new (and hopefully less deadly!)
way to exercise...

They seem impressed!

Erm.. I wouldn't eat that if I were you Jenna...

No.. I didn't think it looked too tasty!

With the new patients in, that night the couch was the only place where poor Parker could get some rest...

Have some respect people, he's the bread-winner of this asylum!! *Tsk*...

After he got up the next morning, the first (of many!! Some cut so as not to become SO god dam repetitive!!) fights broke out between Sarah and Jenna...

Aw look at that, to get away from the conflict, Jason has decided to clear the garden!

Bless him...

Aww their first snow together!

It didn't settle though (sadly)... So Jenna decided to head outside and undo all Jason's good leaf collecting work!

You're going to make yourself another enemy girl!!

Ok so it does look a little fun...

Moving on!!

The next day Aston decided to do his best to impress Josh into becoming his new best friend...

Who doesn't love a bit of air guitar??!

Outside the snow had finally settled so Aston and Polly headed out to (have a snowball fight) play catch...

Right... great choice of entertainment!

Back inside, Jason was going down in my opinion...

There he is congratulating Jenna for winning one of the many fights she's had with Sarah. Yet 30 seconds previous to that he was congratulating Sarah!! *Tut* Suck up! Pick a side and stick with it Jason...
Who's side are you on?? Vote now!!

Poor Polly was feeling a little concerned about her lack of fortune...

Meanwhile, Josh was bragging about his to Jenna...

"You've got bars of gold??! Yeh right!!! *Guffaw*
Aww poor Josh.. it was a rather far-fetched lie I suppose...
And apparantly it amused Jenna so much her face got stuck like that!!

I OUGHT TO HANDCUFF YOU UP FOR THAT!!

It stayed like that for several sim moments until Sarah decided to jump on her...

That soon wiped the daft look off her face!
(Note that Aston appears to be enjoying that fight a litttttttle too much!)

Later that day events got worse and worse...

Watch tv Josh and Jason??

Sarah says NO!!

Jesus Aston give Polly some privacy!!

And get some manners!!

Bleugh... that sure ruined meatball night!

Parker please come back home from work and save me from this!!

There were so many epic moments in this update! Forgive me but I'm going to quote a lot of them... hehehe... I'll try not to make this post a mass quote-a-thon!

Josh looks like somebody I know... I can't quite put my finger on who, but I know I've definitely seen someone in real life who looks like him

P.S. Whenever I read Aston's name I think of James Bond, simply because I associate sexy Aston Martin cars with him.
