Long time no hello + Help

Hey everyone!

I'm so sorry I haven't been more active. I have been working my butt off to butt off to bring home the bacon. I am officially on leave now so I have a chance to catch up. Anyways, I finally bought ofb! And yes, it is a magnificent game. Much much better than UNI.

I do have a question and I think I am going to lose my sanity...

Whenever I buy a lot at Bluewater, I go there, hire staff, promote a manager and ask him/her to mind the store, I then leave. (I have a bustling business back home) Well, now this is my predicament. Whenever I leave, my sim runs around and chases everyone away and "closes" the shop. I have tried literallly EVERYTHING to avoid this, but somehow she always ends up chasing the people away and closing the store. I would like to macro manage it from home, yet I am not able to do that. It just tells me, this and this didn't make money today, it is time you went in there and shook things up! If i check on the pc, there is no movement at my store, whatsoever. What am I doing wrong?

Please help as I am slowly thinking of smashing my pc.

O.O wow I have never heard of that problem. Of course I have not really played OFB to its fullest. Sorry i donno how to help... hopefully one of the other people that have played OFB more will know.

I tried running shops a while ago and couldn't even figure out how to promote someone to be a manager! So you've gone one better than me already...
