Yeah, that it true. They do like saving the best for last. I guess 6 months with it won't be to bad. Besdies, I'm planning on acutaly reading some reveiws on the sims 3 before it comes out this time.  I see what you mean laurie. But, it still depends more on the individual. I know that as soon as I pick up a copy of the sims 3, that I probably won't touch my sims 2 anymore. I haven't played my sims 1 game at all since I swithced and I don't plan to go back.  |

Also there hasn't been an official confirmation that Apartment Life is going to be the last expansion pack - I think we've got at least one more in it yet.

It looks promising. I love the magic aspect of it. I really enjoyed MM when it came out for sims 1. And I've been kinda disappointed that they hadn't done anything similar since.
I don't think I'm gonna get Sims 3. I'm really fond of the Sims 2...even more so than the original, and I wasn't going to get the Sims 2 when it came out. But I've not seen all that many things that make me want to upgrade to the next game. Maybe after I see more previews.

Hm. That makes sence. Well, kate. This expansion is suposed to come out in august. So, maybe they'll get another mini pack, but I think as soon as the sims 3 comes out, the'll only put half as much effort into the sims 2. They might release another ep, but I'm not sure. Oh and laurie, I never thought of that. I guess you'd have tosee the reaction to the sims 3. And even then, you can't make sim 3 custom content without the game itself....  |

I've already got my copy pre-ordered. All it took for me was the apartments and the baby playthings LOL. I can not wait for it to come out. The only bad part is waiting for a few hacks to come out.

I like the idea! Just from reading the name... and how timely as I am about to move into my own apartment in a few weeks.. hehe  looking at the pictures I see a curving staircase. i really like that. I think the idea of being able to have multiple families in one building is cool, also like Kate said I think, would come in handy to move the left over kids from a generation of the legacy int the other apartments. And the 3 key thing really sucks! especialy since they are relatively not that expensive of a game.. is not like 600$ photoshop or something like that. And ugH! I have had to uninstall and reistall the game 3 times in one day before! |

The playground equipment looks really nice. I think it's really impressive that they're making a bunch of new stuff for this game. I'm pretty excited. haha!! That mailbox is neat. I hope the sims don't fight over it.  |

Hey everyone!! Just to let you know, there's a trailer for the sims 2 apartment life. And I can perasonaly say that it looks very promising. Well, after watching that (and laughing a lot at the end at the "wow-we-must-chuck-all-of-our-existing-products-for-this-game-in-now" advertising), I can actually admit that this looks good. I liked how he progressed through apartments which got increasingly better as time went along.
I want my true love to live next door, heh. That's a little cliché, but if it sells the game...
