Hey, i remember reading in someones story that there was a hack that allows "No more (dam) clones!" (or well a hack that gives different DNA to in game born sims) Does anyone remember which story it was in...who said it (found it)... or where i can get it...any of these will help. Thanks!

The best way to stop getting clones I find, is to wait until your sim goes into labour, pause and save the game and exit to the neighbourhood. Then go into the CAS screen, make a family with children - thus pressing the "roll the pacifier" button to make them. Press it a few times. Then go back to the neighbourhood (you don't have to save the family) and back into the house and let your sim give birth. This "rolling the pacifier" should stop you from getting "first-born" syndrome, where all the children are the same as the first. You need to do it before every birth though, or the next one will be a clone of the first... and it can be a bit time consuming if you have big loading times! So there's this hack... www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,72.0.html Does a lot of things! Including the "RERANDOMIZE SIM GENERATOR" which does the same job as rolling the pacifier. As it says though, it will exit the lot without saving, so you still have to save, and wait a while as it sorts something out... Although, Kate has said it didn't actually work for her and she still got clones! So I guess you will have to give it a try and see maybe.... Rather a long post! Hope you understood all that and I helped a bit

The only reason the "re-rolling the pacifier" didn't work for me was that I did the stupid thing of starting my Legacy with dominant features - I think the major clone attack I suffered was on the Quinn Legacy... although it might have been the Greene, I don't remember. I think the thing Katie was trying to link to you on MATY is the FFS Lot Debugger (the nuclear war edition )... It's got a feature that allows you to re-roll the pacifier on the lot you're playing, so you don't have to exit the lot, load CAS, re-roll the pacifier a few times, exit CAS, enter your lot etc. Try my link and see if this works...?

Ahh that link worked, thanks. And, because of my legacy, is why i am asking about the clones thing. I did kind of the same thing, started off with some strong features ,and homemade townies (sims), therefore giving my legacy kids the same features. Maybe starting again is a good idea.....

Ooops sorry Shelll, my link would have worked if you'd highlighted the end of it and pasted it in your browser... I didn't notice but for some reason it didn't make the last bit of the link clickable... But you found it anyways thanks to Kate. Hope you get it sorted anyways and get your no clones! Whatever you decide to do. Just a little more info in case.... The "Lot Debugger" is an item you need to purchase in buy mode... it's under miscellaneous, and then miscellaneous again in the buy catalogue. It's a black box with what looks like a batman symbol on the top. You have to place it somewhere on the lot, and then click on it with the option to "rerandomize sim generator" or something like that... just in case you were wondering, coz when I first downloaded it I couldn't figure out how to get it working! lol. And once again.. remember to save before you use it!! Happy legacy!
