Oh that actually looks kind of fun. Seems like it adds a lot more personality background to sims, I like that. I still haven't gotten to the store to get Seasons, but I have been working up a want to play sims again. I think I might delete like 90% of my custom content that isn't EA made (other than skin, eyes and a few select hairs). Hopefully that will help my game run a little smoother. That's one reason I haven't played so much in a while, my game had gotten really choppy.

Today is University Life release date here in the UK; my copy arrived in the post yesterday (hooray for preordering!).
I have to admit, I haven't played TS3 for almost a year (for several reasons...not having PC is the main one. My MacBook, although I adore it, just cannot handle TS3 without major lag). However I've spent the past few months keeping up to date with TS3 news, and I've found that the Sims bug has bitten me again.
I am really excited about University, hence the preorder, and can't wait to play it. I'm a few EPs behind though (I haven't got Showtime, Supernatural or Seasons...shoot I needs me some Seasons!) so am putting it aside until I gradually buy the others and, of course, get a new PC. The PC part is coming in the very near future! :-)
Here's my question to the barren CF: have you got University Life yet? If so, what do you think?!

I haven't, but it and Seasons have been half way luring me back. I kind of want to get those two to play. This new take on university (compared to the sims2 version) looks like a lot of fun. And like they have added a lot of character developing aspects into it.
Hopefully someone gets it and reports back here how it is. I am curious on the actual learning side of it. They never show the boring things in the trailers, but the sims 2 uni was just dreadful to go through. So hard to actually do the fun things in uni that they showed in the trailers. I am curious if it will be the same case this time around.

I will try to report back for you. Since I am now up to date expansion pack wise, I am going to play as much as I can today with UL.
From lurking on the official TS3 forums and seeing people posting stuff about it, I think it should be more enjoyable than the TS2 version. Hope it doesn't lag as much!
