I saw this on facebook. It looks great!!! Just one issue, so did uni look great when it came out and there are things with uni that bug me. For example if you DONT send them to uni they sook about it for a few days. I hope its not the same with this ep. BUT saying that I am looking forward to it!

I believe that graduation scene is for graduating high school and not Uni because they talk about new things to do for celebrations. With all the other things this is adding in i doubt they are also adding in a whole higher learning aspect to the game.

No you miss understand. With Uni the sims got a 'new age' yeah i know this one isn't giving us a new age, but from the looks of things we are giving them a 'mid life crisis' for example and I am saying if what they are after isn't for filled they will sook about it. So with Sims 2 if the teen didn't go to uni and just grew up they sooked about it for a few days. Made it frustrating. I am very much looking forward to this ep, but the above remains my only question. I don't want to be forced to choose something for my sim to not carry it out and then they go nutso on me.

Oh I thought you were talking about them actually going to uni in this one. Yeah it was frustrating when you did not send a sim to uni and they kept being upset about it for ages after. I am not sure how this game will handle mid-life crisis.. maybe it will be a random thing. Like a random sim will randomly have a break down and want to change their life's path. So far with the info I am thinking it's sounding kinda interesting. And ang3l22 You don't need to see the video. We are talking about the next ep and I posted the info given for it.

Oh I thought you were talking about them actually going to uni in this one. No, thought you misunderstood me. Have a habit of doing that at the moment. I was using that one as an example. Swap it for a teen thing. So they are pranksters. Will they crack it if they don't get 'their way'. Guess time will tell me this!~

Generations, YAY! I stumbled upon news of this last night! My initial reaction was disappointment as the new EP didn't really seem to incorporate much. However after some additional research into it (yay for Snooty Sims!) I am really really really looking forward to this EP. So much so I have just placed my preorder Oh, I just thought, I own Late Night but I haven't even installed it yet. LOL. Better get playing that before Generations comes out! That's what happens when University work takes over your life (no, not the TS2 version, tee hee). I shall make an official thread for Generations in a bit...I am a bit late (but aren't I always these days?) but I've found out lots of info and I'd like to share. Also, on an end note from me: the chemistry set is coming back. OH YEAH. I used to love that in TS1...brings back fond memories of my friend and I playing TSO (The Sims Online, was basically an online version of TS1) where we had to slave over the chemistry set/piano/jamming station/etc. in order to make money

WOW! Thanks to Kate and all her new information i am now ever more excited about this EP than I already was.. and I was pretty excited It seems with this EP they really tried to listen to what players wanted. We have been asking for more family interactions for years and this EP sounds like it's adding quite a few really fun ones too. Like teaching a teen to drive, slumber parties, Sim home movies! I can't wait for some of my kids to have a slumber party and tell ghost stories and have one of the older kids play a prank or something like that! People have also bee asking for memories to come back into the game, and I am happy dating is coming back. Also, I doubt anyone else thought this, but when i first saw this the bottom left picture of the wedding couple totally made me think Bill Weasley and Fleur's wedding...lol... I think i have been watching too much of The Deathly hallows part one

Was reading a bit about the new EP as it's getting closer to coming out in the states and I am very excited. Anyways.. saw there was a new lifetime reward called Clean Slate. Apparently in this game (I am guessing because dating it being added back in) your sim can get a reputation. Like if you sleep around a lot and maybe don't call the people again word gets around and people in town will talk about you. And you can buy the clean slate reward to clear out your current reputation. I LOVE the sound of this! I have also been reading bunch of reviews and comments on the new EP and so many people are putting it down because in their opinion it's not adding much, but I think this EP is adding a whole lot. Though i am one that plays one family for long periods of time and like the more in depth games, that really build and have a history so the thought of getting new ways to explore my sims' lives and really live them to the fullest is very appealing to me. Although after reading the list of things being added from this post it looks like quite a lot of content is being added. Needless to say I am in count down mode now! 25 Days To Go!

I know, right! I was reading all the reviews you posted and the comments left after them and then found that one post and read the HUGE list of what's in the EP and it made me think the people saying "nothing much is being added to the game with this EP" were making too quick a judgement long before all the information was out. Cause i donno.. it seemed like quite a lot was being added. And i just got my tax refund and I have enough money to set some aside to get the game YAY! 24 Days To Go!

Thanks for posting the link Diz. Can't WAIT for some of the features/etc. I think those who are saying that not much is been added are fools. Either that or they want EVERYTHING in one ep, which is NEVER going to happen.
