So in my game I just had a sim die and it (not saying he or she because it's part of my legacy and I am not gonna give away details about who i am talking about ) is the first sim in a long while that I was actually sad to see pass on. Before with Sims 2 I would get overly attached to my sims.. so much so when one got close to turning to elder I would have them constantly drink that stuff from the magic cooler that extended their lives, or I would stop playing them and make a new family. After starting doing legacy challenges it was a big deal for me that first time the sim turn old and then passed on. So I have been able to let go of sims easier, but every once in a while there is just that one that really captures my heart. How about you guys? Do you often fall in love with certain sims and then have a hard time when they get old or pass on? Or do you just love all yer sims and it's hard to see any of them go, or is it okay with you and you can easily watch any sim pass away?... after all it's one less sim to take care of.

It depends on my sim. There are some i am just utterly attached to, like one of my legacy sims who is days away from dying. She wasn't born in nor is she a founder, but I made her (my rules haha) and have become very attached to her. And like you Diz I tend to not play them or try to feed them as much life saving fruit, just to keep them around longer and when they do go, there is such a sense of loss. So much so I get excited when I see them out of their graves as ghosts LOL
