Wow.. that looks like it will be fun! It reminds me of OFB a bit.. but like to the next level. Hopefully it's out in early summer. And I was just wondering today as I started my game up what and when the next EP was coming out.

Does this mean we can finally go to work with our Simmies? ;D
It does look good, but I'm hoping they add a lot of new careers. Inventing looks great, I'm already thinking about the mad inventors I'm going to create hehehe!

Yes Kate we'll be able to go to work with our sims. Taken from the announcement on the Sim3 Official SiteFEATURES- For the first time ever, you control your Sim’s actions and interactions while they’re on the job.
- Be a hero or mess with the neighbors as a firefighter, private investigator, doctor, ghost hunter, and more!
- Choose how your Sim’s career progresses—will they work for good or evil, pursue creative endeavors, rise to success as a mogul, or shirk responsibility as a slacker?
- Your Sim’s on-the-job choices now change their town and affect other Sims as well. Modify the town’s structure as an architect or set neighborhood fashions as a stylist.
- Enjoy all-new skills and activities! Master the arts of inventing, sculpting, and tattooing, and use your skills to earn Simoleons.

YAY! At last, one of the things (I think I can speak for all here) we have wanted for ages.
I think one of the things I'm looking forward to the most is having a Simmie slide down the fireman's pole. Hehehe. Ghost hunter sounds good too, it'll be like Ghostbusters.

I like the sound of this EP, but I a little worried too. Sims 3 are already a little more involved to take care of and watch over.. at least i think so.. So now if we have to go to work with each of them will bad things happen if we have to switch over to the other one... BAH! I can't get out what I mean in words...lol
I am just wondering if there will be like a auto pilot option or if we have to go to work all the time with all sims.

^ Oh, I know what you mean! I have to presume there will be an auto-pilot function as, if not, it would be very complicated. I'm also guessing we'll be able to jump back and forth between Sims like we usually do when one is at a community lot and one is at home/another place. Unless EAxis are throwing in a whole new world (like China, France, Egypt) called "Worktown" or something... I hope not! Just keep it in the 'hood, EAxis. Also, Sims in TS3 aren't completely unaware of their own wants and needs so I think they'd be able to handle having to work at their careers on their own. I only discovered this the other day - and this is off topic, but I am too sleepy to care - but did you know, when Sims go to work, you can already control their performance? Below the 'work' icon that pops up in the top left hand corner, you can click on the drop-down box and change performance from Business as Usual to stuff like Slack Off or Meet Co-workers...very handy when you need to work on a specific area to get that promotion! ^ Long explanation is long... sorry XD

Though I think they would have to ... knowing that usually multiple people in the house work and always going to other "worlds" puts the main on on pause. it would be very screwy to do that with work O.O Also, Sims in TS3 aren't completely unaware of their own wants and needs so I think they'd be able to handle having to work at their careers on their own. I think I have dumb sims they still starve themselves and wet themselves... and I have been wondering about the claims that TS3 sims are better able to take care of themselves.. cause I have yet to see that in my game. I only discovered this the other day - and this is off topic, but I am too sleepy to care - but did you know, when Sims go to work, you can already control their performance? Like you said is great for having them concentrate on one area of work if it needs it.

Oh no! My Sims definitely look after themselves. The other day I walked away from my computer as my game was saving to make myself a cup of tea...when I came back I realised I hadn't paused the game and the game had gone on without me! My Sims were asleep and seemed to have coped without me, most of them had fully green mood bars (except one, but I put that down to the 'insane' trait).
I didn't know about the job performance thing...but now that I do, I consider it a godsend!
