So I was looking around the official site and noticed a new tab that said " Create a world" I was intrigued and clicked it and found that EA has released in beta the tools to create our own world for our sims..lol pretty much what the title says. It is free and I have downloaded it.. not tested it out yet, but it sounds fun. And seems it will help with one of my grips about the Sims3 = you can't add in new lots at any time to build on. This build a world tool says it will let you not only create the landscape, but also lay out the towns' roads and lots.. so we could just lay out a bunch more lots than they give int he normal games towns. Have any of the rest of you downloaded this? Tried it out? What do you think? I will report back here once i have installed it and fiddled around a bit.

Oh, now I didn't see this (don't often lurk on the TS3 site), so this is something completely new to me!
After taking a quick glance at it, I have to say I'm intrigued. At the same time I'm slightly daunted - it looks a little complicated! I'm glad we'll finally be able to create worlds for TS3 and not have to stick to what EAxis provided us with.
Before doing anything with that tool I better unwrap and install my copy of World Adventures, hehehe...

lol.. it is a little daunting. I have read that this is the very same program the creators used to make the sim worlds we have in the game. I have been fiddling with it a bit and I am not finding it exactly easy. Part of the problem is the guide is nowhere near as extensive as I would like it to be. Hopefully before it comes out of beta they rewrite it O.O
