So, I've been reading all these sim stories and it's made me think it would be fun to do my own. But I'm not too sure of the idea so I thought I wsould bounce it off you guys before I start the actual writting. I was thinking of something with two twin boys a bad one and a goody, good one, and how they both like this same girl. I was thinking of doing a little when they were kids for back ground and then a bit more in high school for some more back ground. The main part would be while they are adults. So what do you think? Has that idea been played before? Is it not original enough? Let me know I welcome all advise good and bad. Thanx!

Yeah dizzy! You could so it so the bad twin ends up kidnapping the girl and making her marry him or something, then the good twin saves her but gets shot or something.... (sorry, I always get carried away)

I didn't even think about that. Okay so I'm likeing the idea more now. I'm just slow to the process.
A question for those of you that have written stories. Before you start posting do you have the entire thing all written out, like you know what happens each chapter? Or do you make up each chapter as you get to them? Did that make sense?

yes it does.....either way you chose to do it is up to you......but my suggestiong would be to have it written out first....that way updating it will be easier for you.....i've done it before where i wrote the chapters up as i went and it takes me a while to do it and than get my pictures done to.....which makes the updating process slower......but do it the way you feel most comfortable with.....

I had a similar idea for a story. Mine went like this: Jack and Jill were high school sweethearts. They attended the same college, they graduated together, they got married. They decided to wait for a while before trying to start a family. After Jack had gotten to level 6, they tried to get pregnant, but they just couldn't. Enter Jack's identical twin brother, James. James wasn't exactly Mr. Sweetheart, but he agreed to be a sperm donor so that Jill could have a child that was almost biologically with Jack. Chaos ensued. It was a right complicated affair, let me tell you. So I think the 'Good twin, bad twin' aspect can be played so many ways, it's nice to see how other people choose to put their own spins on it.

Wow, where's that story? It sounds very interesting. I can asure you what I'm thinking is nothing like that. The ideas are formulating in my head and coming together a bit more now. So hopefully it wont be too much longer till I start writting it out.
Thanx for all the comments guys it really helps.

about the planning and writing out beforehand - DO IT.
it makes things so much easier, plus if you HAVE to update and you just do a rushjob without really thinking about your story and you don't have a plan, you may end up with something that doesn't really fit the story, or something that you don't like very much. then you're stuck with it. it will just make your life so much easier!
and about the idea - yes, it sounds very interesting, kind of a cross between a soap opera and a drama. i like it! i'd read it!
