The Dark Knight. Saw it this afternoon, and I already want to go see it again.
It was fantastic; even so much more than that - Heath Ledger's fabulous portrayal of the Joker made me feel uncomfortable the whole way through the film.
Want to see it again. Want to see it.

I agree with you. I was really excited to see it and it only lived up to about half my expectation. I also didn't realy like the ending very much. And the moster was just.....weird.
But, I did get the really cool lookin poster with the statue of liberty's head fallen off. Haha!!

I Sky+ed a number of movies over the past couple of days to watch when I'm bored... they were showing some of Heath Ledger's best films, as well as some of Christian Bale's on Film4 (a film channel we have here in the UK... I love it because it's free). This afternoon I watched American Psycho: an eighteen rated film, where Christian Bale plays the lead role. It was a little freaky and confusing; I had to look the film up on IMDB to clarify some things. Loved it though, a nice dark comedy

The Machinist. The film completely intrigued me, and although it wasn't something I'd usually watch, I really enjoyed it. I think I've found another genre I like.
Although I have to say Christian Bale's physique in the film made me cringe at the beginning (to anyone who doesn't know, Bale dropped 60 pounds - I think - for his role in this film).

On Tuesday night I watched The Orphanage. It was ok, pretty scary!
Anddd I also watched some of Team America: World Police - so crude but also very funny! Especially when watched with 3 teenage boys (brother and 2 cousins) and my boyfriend who still has a teenage boy's sense of humour!

After collapsing on the sofa last night, I watched Bridget Jones's Diary - I love that film! I was appalled when my mum confessed she had no idea who Colin Firth was and so consequently I had to explain the whole "Mr. Darcy" appeal of him Am going to see Batman again tonight - yippeee!!!

Yaayy for Bridget Jones's Diary! I love it too!
The Dark Night was dead good! Little long, but definitely worth sitting through. Very dark. And everybody is right, Heath Ledger is amazing!

The Dark Knight - even better a second time around. Although the atmosphere at the cinema this time was different, a lot of people laughed at the antics of the Joker! Although I can't say I blame them, because he is quite a comical character... just wasn't expecting it

Hehe quite a few people laughed when I went to see it Kate, and I was one of them! Guess people where I live have a darker sense of humour lol

I know, I laughed this time too... but I was so caught up with the intensity of it the first time I saw it, I guess I just didn't laugh then!

Probably about a week ago now I watched Garden State... quite enjoyed it, although I can't say it's one of my favourite films.
Last night I went to go see the new The Mummy 3 flick with my friends. Like Garden State I enjoyed it, but not enough to brand it as one of my favourites. Did like Alex though, yum yum.

I watcvhed Penelope, 3 days ago. It's a very interesting movie. I liked the music and most of the characters were very easy to get to know. Although the plot started off fast then got slow...real slow... and then they kinda rushed to the end. I was also confused as to where the movie actualy took plac.e It was very odd. Some of the characters had British accents, most of them didn't. They drove on the right side. And almost throughout the entire movie they were all dressed for cold weather. So, I dunno. Very odd. I would recomend it, if you are really bored and feel like just watching something. ;D

I seem to be going through a "Must-watch-all-of-Christian-Bale's-Films" obsession at the moment, where I seem to be watching a lot of films with Christian Bale in On Wednesday night I watched Shaft, which led to me saying "mother-trucker" at the end of every sentence for the rest of the evening. The ending surprised me actually, I thought something else was going to happen... And then yesterday I watched Metroland, which I liked - it was a cute story. I watched it through Youtube, hehe, I've never done that with a film before!
