HELLLLLOOO EVERYONE!

So, looooooooooong time no see...or talk to...or anything. I hope you all are doing fantastic. I don't even know when I was here last. It's been ages for sure.

Long story short, I've been on summer break for a little over a month and I got really bored, so I played the sims. And from there, my mind wandered everywhere until i thought of this wonderful website we all started over six years ago.

A little bit about what i've been up to recently: I took a semester off after graduating from high school last June. I am 19 years old now and I will be attending St. Mary's College of Maryland in the fall and I couldn't be more excited.

It's apparent that this place has pretty much stayed a ghost town. :/ I don't predict that changing anytime soon. It would be awesome to socialize with you guys again. I've missed you all. I don't know how much more I will be playing the sims in the future (on and off, here and there).

Hopefully I won't be a stranger. We need to insert some new life in here. Haha!

(BTW sorry if my sentences are incoherent. It's 1 a.m. on the east coast right now...)

OMG Anti it's so great to hear from you! You're 19 now?! Jeez, time really does fly. Although I'm no spring chicken myself, being 22 now haha.

As Diz said, congratulations on your graduation and starting college in the fall! Music and psychology, eh? Sounds awesome.

CF is a ghost town, but I'm trying my hardest to drop in every now and again. I don't play Sims at all much anymore, other games frequently take over my life (currently I'm obsessed with Minecraft). Plus the game and all the files are on my PC, I mainly use a MacBook Pro nowadays. (Saying that I should really power up the slow PC and update the Warners soon).

Anyway, am going off on one. Glad to hear you're well. It'll be good if we can all start socialising a little bit more on here!

Yeah I gave up a bought a mac myself. Then I gave up a bought the Sims 3 for my mac. Such is life when you're bored.

I am super happy to have you guys back! I missed talking about random things and being dramatic when "writing" stories. Haha!

I was thinking... we could always add other sections to the site to talk about other games that take over our lives. Seeing as a lot of us don't just play Sims anymore (or at all). I know we shied away from that idea a few years ago, but at the time there was still quite a few more of us around and most were still just playing Sim games.
Just a thought to maybe also bring others back and to show them they don't have to talk about JUST the Sims here.

I want to start writing proper stories again, I really miss it. I've been writing something for the past few years which I come back to now and again, but whenever I write something nowadays I seem to trash it immediately.

That's not a bad idea Diz. In fact it's a really good one.

I TOTALLY AGREE!! While this site did start out as a sims only site (more specifically a sims 2 site), we have all grown tremendously. Plus we have managed to incorporate the sims 3 (and it looks like the sims medieval).

Also, this isn't called the sims cookie fest or festival of the sugar cookie sims. It's just Cookie Fest which has and always will always be a friendly site for people too share and receive positive and supportive feedback.

I know that I have improved a lot as a writer, and while I don't write all of the time, I do have a few stories up my sleeve. I would love to share them with you. In the past, I usually had issues with incorporating the sims into my work. It was always exhausting feeling the pressure to have pictures and contorting sims into poses for story-telling purposes. I would be to happy to just write and share freezing in this community.

I think it will be fun to expand. It's always a good to continue continue improving and changing as times go on.
