Yeah they annoy me to. Sometimes i worry about the people of Maxis, what the hell were they thinking with this one..grr (there are of course plenty of others as well). It annoys me even more when it isn't their 'hobby'. GRR again!

Chapter Seven
The next morning, Matthew woke up very happy and healthy again, Jezlyn was thinking he was faking the flu so he didn’t have to clean up after the party. Especially since he woke her with kisses along her neck and a gleam in his eye. (Guess he couldn’t keep his hands off her).
Not long after Matthew toddled off to work, Jezlyn started to feel ill and had to rush to the toilet.


Cursing her husband for giving her the flu, she asked Ethan to keep an eye and ear on his little brother while she got some sleep.


Still feeling a bit of nostalgia, Jezlyn had lunch with her two eldest children after waking up from her nap feeling a little bit more rested.


Though she was feeling sad that Derek would also be growing up.
Derek on the other had couldn’t wait and wanted to eat the cake before the candles were even blown out.

It was the wee hours of the morning, and the house was quiet when one of the residents left their bed and yelled out.
Doing a spin on the spot something happened…..
….Opps?!....
Pop one…


Guess Jezlyn wasn’t sick after all, and it seems that Matthew just cant keep his hands off his wife. Jezlyn is shocked but happy about the ‘opps’ baby that she is now pregnant with.
But at the same time is a little scared as that now makes 4 children, with only one family member brining in an income. Matthew on the other hand isn’t sure how it happened.
Jezlyn is assuming his parents never taught him about birds and bees.
Derek is hoping his mum will have another boy, while Ashley is hoping for a sister. Ethan doesn’t care either way, just as long as he doesn’t have to change dirty nappies.

The next day, which should have been Derek’s first day at school…


At least the kids are happy.
Even though Ethan is teen, he still finds time to spend with his siblings as they enjoy ‘snow day’


Pop two…any day now


Ashely finally came home with the grades she wanted….


…while Derek wasn’t so happy.


Jezlyn is wondering while all her children get so depressed with bad grades on the first day, and is hoping the new baby wont be like that.
At 5.30am the next morning, Jezlyn woke Matthew from his sleep and started yelling in pain.
She gave birth to a baby.


Did Matthew get enough sleep before he was woken?Will he finally know what the birds and bees are?
Will the family have enough money for another baby? Or is it to late for that?

Awww I wanna see the new baby!! I hope it's a girl... or I think Ashley might be getting a little out-numbered!

Katie, don't even talk to me about girls being outnumbered. One of my families has two sets of twin boys and now a baby boy as well! Ashley probably would feel a bit outnumbered, though...

I liked the bit about Ethan not caring, as long as he doesn't have to change any diapers. None of my male sims seem to enjoy changing diapers too much. lol

hehe Colada, i had to write something about Matthew as half the time they carry on when its birth time LOL It seemed fitting.
BTW it could be one of each (boy and girl) then both Ashley and Derek will be happy lol and Jezlyn will be closer to her 10 kids LMAO

Kae i am outnumbered by my siblings to. I have 2 brothers, one on each side of me. So i know how it feels. BUT if it turns out to be a boy then Ashley will just have to deal with it and hope the rest of them are girls LOL

Chapter Eight

It was realized in the last chapter that it was missed on what the baby’s gender was.
Jezlyn had another girl, Morgan.


Ashley is ecstatic at getting a sister. Like her siblings before her, Morgan has her mums skin and eyes and dads hair.
Even though she was an opps, Jezlyn is happy Morgan has joined the family.

Derek finally got the marks he wanted


While later that night Matthew came home with another promotion
(sorry about the lack of pic…again)

The next day was double birthday time again.
Ashley was up first


As a teen


Then it was Morgan’s turn. It only felt like yesterday that she was born

With the paintings complete of all her children


Jezlyn decided to try her ‘Picasso’ painting


Been a teenager, Ethan thinks its high time he looks into scholarships for uni, so he places a call. While on the phone he thinks he will get a better chance if he sticks his finger in his eye.


It must have worked, as he got 3. One for his excellent grades, one for his fancy footsteps and one for…

With his 3 scholarships Ethan saw no reason to stick around home anymore, becides the family really could use the extra room and bed. So with that decided Ethan picked up the phone, and placed a call to the uni.
A moment later a taxi arrived to take him to Uni. His parents are both proud and a little sad.

After Ethan left, Jezlyn started getting that nostalgic feeling again. So Matthew wanting to cheer her up pulls her into an embrace, and gives her a kiss. Showing her and the rest of the neighborhood, even though they have older children now, they still have ‘it’.


With Ethan gone and Matthew working so hard, they were able to afford some new things. Like Matthew’s favorite…a new TV, Jezlyn got a better dresser and a few rugs to throw around, a few more couches to add to the others, a brand new desk for the computer and a few lamps. Matthew wanted more but Jezlyn put her foot down, as she wanted money left in the bank incase something were to happen, besides because they got new stuff the sim city council loved putting up bills because of it.

While trying to finish off her painting, Jezlyn maxed out her creativity skill. She is now hoping when she sells it, it will bring in a decent amount.


It sold for $535. Not bad, but still no Picasso. Though Jezlyn thought differently, and now has a memory of ‘selling a master piece’.

That night, was yet again, double birthday night.

Chapter nine
With all her ‘babies’ grow up Jezlyn thinks its time she went out and got another job. Especially since she had the want for it since Derek turned into a child. And even though painting was fun and now was bringing in some money, it just wasn’t enough.


Looking in the daily paper she picked the team mascot job in the athletic career track.
While that afternoon, Matthew came home with another promo! Woot.


As Jezlyn headed off for her first day at her new job


Morgan came home from her first day at school, and like the others she wasn’t happy with her grades.


Due to another bad chance card Jezlyn once again came home jobless, at felt the affects of De Ja Vu.


After a bit of annoyance that she lost yet another job, and getting another bad memory card because of it, Jezlyn searched the computer for a better job that had a better uniform. The Lama suit just didn’t do anything for her figure


There were 5 jobs available, all looked good. Jezlyn decided on the Playground Monitor in the Education career track. She has always loved kids and really did want more of her own. And she is hoping they will have better uniforms.

That’s better…


Jezlyn thinks she finally found the job she can like. On her first day she came home with a promotion to Teachers aid! Woot Jezlyn. And she can wear her own clothes, bonus.

Getting on in age, Ashley decided it was about time to apply for some scholarships.
Following in her brothers footsteps, she put her finger in her eye for a better chance.


She didn’t get as many as Ethan, but did well. She got 2. One for her excellent grades and one for her fancy footwork.
It was probably a good thing she never got one for her cooking skills. Opps


With her school week finished and with 2 scholarships under her belt, Ashley places a call. And a few minutes later heads off to College. Bye Ashley.


Matthew is doing very well with his career. He is almost there.


With the extra money Matthew brought home, they were able to build an extra bedroom in the house. Derek moved out of the pokey room he was in (as all it fit was a single bed) and into the new one. Jezlyn went out and brought two more new desks while she was at it, so Derek and Morgan didn’t have to do their homework on the floor anymore.
Mathew is worried that Jezlyn has his spending bug.

Oh it happens all so fast. It has rolled around to that time again the Legacy house. Its birthday time. Jezlyn and Matthew are due to become elders.
Jezlyn was up first….

After a make-over


(yeah..they still have it LOL)

Will Matthew be able to get that LTW so he can retire? Or will he die before he can obtain that goal?
Now that she is an Elder will Jezlyn also give up her job? Or will she get fired instead?
And now that Jezlyn can’t have anymore kids, what will she do?
Will I ever get onto the next Generation? Or will this end up boring me?

Aww Jezlyn got old! No more babies from her
This was a lonnnggg generation though, she probably deserves to retire from baby making! Though maybe she should keep up her career for a little bit since she only just started it!
Hope Matthew manages to make it to the top in his.
And hope you do move onto the next gen, am sure Jezlyn would love some grankids!!
