I should deff have them.. well the graphics i know should be here on monday... geeky me wanting it I looked up the tracking # and it is only a few miles from me now at the fedex base... so I am sure it will be here on monday. And the RAM is supposed to be here on the 29th. but then i am gonna have to put them in and not blow up my computer.... probably not a good thing that the thought of opening up my 'puter scares the heck out of me. But I don't want to take it some where cause they will keep it, and there is a bad problem here of them giving back the wrong computer.. and I will be having $300 worth of stuff added in. I think it was Colada that said.. the people that do that for a living (working on computers) had to start somewhere. And i would like to be able to do little things like that with my computer I guess no time like the present to learn.

Luckily for me my Dad is a bit of a "Computer Tech God" and he knows everything - and anything he doesn't know my best friend Billy would know, as he's a "Computer Tech God" too.
I always watch closely when my dad takes out and replaces any bits in my computer - I also watched my best friend closely when he installed my new RAM for me, and so now I'm pretty sure of how to do it if I ever want to add/change my RAM.
I took out and replaced my Graphics Card the other day as that needed cleaning (was covered in dust, bluergh) and that was pretty straight forward.
I'm also pretty sure that with your Motherboard you get an instruction manual that explains where everything should go - I would have thought it helps to refer to that when you're installing new stuff in your computer!
Everything seems to be happening this Monday - I have a handful of stuff happening tomorrow. I get my exam question for Photography, the new album by a band I like is coming out, my friend says he has a "surprise" for me tomorrow, and now your new G-Card is coming?! Whoa, details galore.
Hope the installation goes well, Diz... to be honest once you've figured out where everything goes it'll be a piece of cake.

Dizzy its not to hard to replace these items. Just make sure you have the machine unplugged from the power and make sure you arent producing any static. With the graphics card you should download the latest driver from Nvidias site it will be newer than the one on the CD supplied. Memory can be hit or miss depending on your motherboard, what the other memory chips are etc. Anyway give us a yell if you want a hand. DTM computer consultantancy
