Okay I love yer line when Indi is getting her make over and her Aunt says if Superman just needed glasses....LOL It made me laugh big time because I have always wondered how people couldn't see past Superman's glasses.. sheesh people can be blind. HAHAHA I have always laughed over the convenience of him just putting on glasses and his entire look is meant to change LAFFFS So when I changed her look I had to add that line in LOL that was the idea, to make you want to come here more LOL to bad you weren't with the Ophra army. LAFFS dont let the crocodile scare you, they are only in northen Aus and as long as you don't go swimming etc where its not safe then its not an issue. If you ever come to Oz then you will always have a place to stay. Though no idea where that will be LAFFS LOL Let me just say here, because it kind of freaked Kate, that Jace is a "typical teenage boy". And cause you asked (and because i need to catch it up some, update will follow shortly)

Please excuse the different colour 'blues' in some of the pics. As you all know sims are sometimes very limited and I had to get rid of the grass somehow LOL Makes me so made sometimes! Chapter seven(Jace’s life) I was on the top deck, making sure it was clean and the ropes were neat when I saw her. She was looking at the boat, admiration in her eyes, and I just couldn’t look away from her. I wasn’t into red heads, but something about her was just stunning. She had the perfect body, and I just wanted to kiss her full lips. I was still staring at her when a slight frown crossed her brow and she looked around her and then towards the dock. She must have felt me staring at her, but even then I couldn’t look away, I knew she wouldn’t be able to see me so I kept staring, trying to get my fill of her. I was mesmerized and became even more so when she was called and her frown was replaced by a smile which was so bright and warm that it lit up her face. I kept watching her until she disappeared below me. “Indi. That’s a pretty name,” I mumbled to myself, “It must be short for Indigo. Even Indigo is pretty. I wonder why she prefers Indi?” I was lost in my thoughts, my work forgotten. I had to see her close up. I wanted to see the colour of her eyes and I wanted to see how full those lips were. I know it was childish, but couldn’t help it. Luckily, knowing the boat so well, I climbed down and made my way closer to the deck with the lounges for the passengers. I knew she would be in there; it’s where Mack liked to take everyone as soon as they had boarded the boat. She was in there, laughing with the people she came with. Her eyes were a bright, clear green which suited her perfectly. Her lips were what I thought they were, full and kissable. She had a heart shaped face, high cheek bones and a slightly upturned nose. She was a stunner. I wanted to go inside and talk to her, to introduce myself, to flirt with her even, but a girl like her wouldn’t be interested in me. She was perfect. With another look I moved away to get back on with my work, hoping like hell I would get to see more of her before worked finished. I had just finished getting new orders from Mack and had stepped out of the cabin when I saw her standing on the deck. Her short red hair was flying around her face, she was laughing as she tried to control it. My heart started racing, I just wanted to stay at watch her. Her clothes flapped and whipped about her little body, because of the wind, leaving little to the imagination. That was when she looked over at me. I froze, unsure of what to do. I felt like an idiot. So instead of going over to talk to her I pretended to fix the ropes at my feet. I could see her watching me out of the corner of my eye, like she was sizing me up. I turned to look at her a little confused. A blush that was very becoming on her crept onto her face. She was so damn hot! It was then I saw her slipping, it was like slow motion and I had super speed. I caught her he before she fell to the hard floor. My face was inches from hers. My hands burned where I held her, while I itched to kiss her lips. “Are you ok?” I asked her instead. Her eyes cleared as she nodded her yes. With my hands still burning, I let her go, not considering that she wasn’t on her feet properly yet, so instead of standing up, she hit the floor of the boat, sending water splashing up over my legs. I felt like such a dork for letting her go. “Oh…I am so sorry Indi” I said, wishing instantly I hadn’t said her name and praying that she wouldn’t have noticed. “It’s ok, it was my fault,” She said, giving me one of those warm smiles. Making my heart jump, she grabbed onto my hand so I could pull her up. I was so startled by the feeling from the contact that I almost missed her accent. Most American tourists I had dealt with had very strong accents, but not hers, Indi’s was soft and melodic, and almost indistinguishable, she almost sounded like any Australian, expect for the small hint of an American accent. “You got your footing now?” I asked her stupidly, mentally cringing for such a dumb question. Thankful she didn’t notice and just nodded. I let her go slowly this time, I wasn’t sure if it was because I wanted to keep hold of her or to make sure she wasn’t going to fall again or maybe it was a little of both. “How did you know my name?” she asked breaking the silence, making me mentally cringe again. So she did notice. “Oh…uhh….I heard someone call it out before and I, ahh…just guessed” I said lamely, even though it was true. “Oh,” she replied, distracted. “Oh, my shorts!” she said moments later as she twisted her body to look at her cute little backside. Her boobs pushed up against her thin shirt and were thrust up as she turned, giving me a nice view. “I can get you a towel?” I asked her without thinking, my eyes glued to her chest. My imagination went wild wondering what she would look like without clothes on. “No, it’s ok” she said turning back around. She put her hands on her small hips and started to tug down her shorts. I froze, my face went red. It was almost if I had spoken and asked her to take her clothes off. She was doing just that. I swung around so fast I almost lost my footing. She let out a little giggle. ‘Crap,’ I thought to myself, ‘I guess she did notice.’ “Ok I am decent now” her sweet voice came at my back. Without thinking about how she would have managed that without a towel or any spare clothes in her hands I turned around. She was standing in front of me in the tiniest bikini, it was almost as good as seeing her naked. I felt myself going red again. “Did you think I was naked? Or where you hoping I was?” she asked me, reading my thoughts. It was then I got tongue tied and found myself unable to speak or even make a coherent sentence. “I…I…I…” I stammered, “I…ah, have to go.” I felt like such a tool. With one more look at her I made a run for the stairs and disappeared into the toilet on the deck below. I was so nervous and couldn’t believe what a stupid fool I had made of myself. I was never this clumsy or tongue tied around girls, I didn’t get it. I just hoped that I wouldn’t have to see her for the rest of the trip. My wish wasn’t granted. Half an hour later I was on the back outer deck waiting for her to come up. Mack had assigned me to snorkel with her, for safety’s sake. I tried to make some stupid excuse about wanting to help the chef but Mack wouldn’t hear it. He said since we were the same age we should have lots in common. I didn’t have a choice. The group she was with had gone already, they had taken the option of going diving with Holly. Indi however wanted to snorkel and she was the only one. It was typical of my luck, nothing ever went the way I wanted it. I just had to hope now I could stop making a fool of myself. I was pulling off my top when I heard her voice. “Nice body” she giggled. “Thanks” I mumbled, my shirt tangling up and trapping me. My arms were stuck above my head inside the shirt. I was unable to move. I was so embarrassed. “Umm, Indi?” I asked, hoping she had gone. She hadn’t. “Yes?” She asked me sweetly. “Umm…this is so embarrassing, but umm...do you think you could give me a hand, I am umm…kind of stuck.” “Sure” Indi said laughing. A moment later I felt her small warm hands on my back. “You will have to lean down a little” she requested to which I did. A short moment after that, she yanked my shirt off of me, freeing me. “Thanks” I said, taking the shirt from her. “Happy to be of service!” She grinned. “So now you owe me a favour, right?” Her grin became impish. I gave her a small nod, dreading that look in her eye, while hoping she would ask if she could have someone else take her out. “I want to know your name” she said, her face solemn. I couldn’t help but grin in relief. “That’s what you want?” I questioned her, a little disbelieving. “Yes.” She replied seriously. “Jace. My name is Jace.” Her grin slowly crept its way back onto her face. “Hi Jace, my name is Indi.” She said, sticking out her hand. I looked at it dumbly then looked back to her face. “But I already know your name” “Dah…silly, but I didn’t know yours! So now we are properly introduced. Are you going to shake my hand or are you going to make me stand here like an idiot?” “Oh-crap-sorry” I said, grabbing her hand. I gave it a small shake before letting go, my hand burning. “Do you know who is taking me snorkeling?” she asked sweetly. “Yes.” I replied, feeling stupid. She looked around the empty space we were standing in. “Well, umm, who is it then?” she asked. “You are looking at him.” I said to her with a tight smile, feeling a little rejected. “Oh.” She said in surprise, making me feel even worse. “Yeah sorry, I tried to get out of it, but I couldn’t.” “It’s ok” She said in a soft voice she looked down at the floor, so I couldn’t see her expression. “If you aren’t ready I can wait” I said, trying to change the subject. “Ahh, give me 10 minutes, ok?” she asked looking back up at me. “Sure, take as much time as you need” I said with a quick smile. She returned it before quickly turning around and walking away. I couldn’t help myself I watched her little bikini clad bottom as she walked away from me. My mouth went dry as I watched her walk.

(for those still out there lol)Chapter eight
After the boy had left I sat down on one of the chairs on the top deck and soaked up some sun, wishing he would come back. I wanted to talk to him. I wanted to get to know him. He looked like fun. However he didn’t come back and I was starting to burn, so I headed back down to my family. Sarah and Jack were sitting at the same table talking. I told them what had just happened with the boy upstairs. Of course they both laughed and gave me tips on flirting. With a newly found grin, I couldn’t wait for him to make an appearance so I could try out my new tricks. An hour passed and he still hadn’t shown his face and I found myself wondering where the hell on the boat he could be? Yes it was a big boat, but there had to be only so many hiding places, right? Before I knew it we got to the reef and a lady named Holly came to get Sarah and Jack, leaving me alone. Mack came down a few minutes later and told me my guide should be on the back deck waiting for me. I thanked him and made my way slowly to the back of the boat, hoping for another glimpse of the hot guy. Of course, I didn’t see him, but when I opened the back door, there he was. I couldn’t believe my good luck and to top it off he was taking off his shirt, I felt my mouth water as I drank in his chest. I walked over to him, hoping he was my guide. “Nice body” I giggled as I reached him. “Thanks” he mumbled through his shirt which didn’t go any further, treating me to an unobstructed view. I was still staring when he called out to me. “Umm, Indi?” “Yes?” I replied dreamily, pulling myself from my thoughts. “Umm…this is so embarrassing, but umm...do you think you could give me a hand, I am umm…kind of stuck” He said quietly. I couldn’t help but laughing, as this was something I would do, and I knew how it felt. “Sure” I said praising my luck again, because this time I got to touch that yummy body. I even made the excuse that he was too tall just so I could prolong it. Though like all good things it had to come to an end, so with a tug I freed him from his t-shirt prison. “Thanks” he said taking the shirt from me. I wanted to keep it; it smelt like him and the sea. “Happy to be of service!” I grinned, pushing my embarrassing thoughts away. “So now you owe me a favour, right?” I said grinning evilly now. I wanted to know his name, he knew mine. “I want to know your name” I said, my face serious. He must have liked that because he gave me the cutest grin. “That’s what you want?” he questioned, it’s almost as if he didn’t believe me. What I really wanted was to touch his chest again, but I couldn’t ask that. “Yes.” “Jace. My name is Jace.” he smiled at me. I grinned at him again, cute name for a cute guy I thought to myself. So now I knew his name I had to put my flirting to good use and I needed to touch him again so I stuck out my hand. “Hi Jace, my name is Indi.” I said, he just looked down at it like he had no idea what it was then back up to my face. “But I already know your name” I replied still not making a move to take up my hand, making me feel stupid for trying. “Dah…silly, but I didn’t know yours! So now we are properly introduced. Are you going to shake my hand or are you going to make me stand here like an idiot?” I questioned him. “Oh-crap-sorry” he said in a rush as he grabbed my hand firmly and gave it a small shake. He quickly let go, as if I had burned him. I felt a little rejected and had to change the subject quickly before I did something stupid. “Do you know who is taking me snorkelling?” I asked sweetly hoping he would say it was him. Instead he just replied “Yes.” I looked around me, my heart falling at the fact that it wouldn’t be him “Well, umm, who is it then?” I asked sadly. “You are looking at him.” he replied with a tight smile. “Oh.” I said in surprise. I was conflicted though. He didn’t seem to be happy about that, yet my heart started doing flip flops at the prospect of spending the day with him. “Yeah sorry, I tried to get out of it, but I couldn’t” he replied. My heart plummeted to my stomach. So he wasn’t interested in me. “It’s ok” I replied looking down at the floor, I bit my bottom lip, hiding the rejection I was feeling. I was sure it would show on my face. “If you aren’t ready I can wait” he said trying to be nice. “Ahh, give me 10 minutes, ok?” I said, feeling sad. I really wanted to see the reef, but I didn’t want him feeling like he owed me anything. “Sure, take as much time as you need” he said with a quick smile. I turned around and walked away from him quickly before he could see the silly tears building in my eyes. I made my way to the girl’s bathrooms. It was stupid to cry really. He was just one boy out of millions of others. I just really liked him and thought he maybe felt the same from what Jack and Sarah had said. I felt really rejected, but it was also then I started to feel angry. Why should I care if he didn’t want to take me out snorkelling? It was his job to make me happy and if he had to suffer my company, that was just too bad. I washed my face and fixed my hair. To be honest, I don’t know why I did that, since it would be wet with sea water within a matter of minutes. I looked down at my body. I had to make him pay attention. I had to make him want me. So, with a bit of fiddling with the top half of my bikini, I managed to show a bit more skin than was really necessary. I did the same with the bottom half. “I almost look sexy” I said to my reflection, “And now I sound conceited.” With a giggle I left the toilet and walked with deliberate slowness and a subtle strut like aunty Ruby did on the cat walk. The moment I opened the door, his eyes flew over to me and never left. I knew then my little changes must have made a slight difference and I was back in the game. I couldn’t help but mentally woot. “Wow,” he breathed, his eyes slightly glazed. “You are hot”. “Excuse me?” I asked, feigning innocence. He blinked rapidly and turned red. “Umm, nothing…ahh…um…are you ready?” he asked, flustered. I put on my brightest smile “Yes!” I breathed. Jace pushed a set of goggles and a snorkel into my hands. “If they don’t fit then I can get you some others” he said, nervously avoiding my eyes. “Thanks,” I replied, putting the goggles on, they were a perfect fit. “They are fine” I smiled “So can we get wet now?” I asked him sweetly. “Sure,” he said, still avoiding my eyes. He led the way down some more steps to a platform that was floating just under the waters surface. He jumped down on it then reached up to give me a hand. I bent down at the waist and put my hands on his shoulders, giving him a view of my cleavage. I saw him swallow before he put his hands on my waist and lifted me into the cold water. I let out a little shrill of shock as my lower body got used to the temperature. “Sorry, I should have warned you” he said softly. “It’s ok” I grinned at him “I am fine now and it was only the initial shock.” I winked at him and spit into my goggles before washing them with sea water. “How did you know to do that?” he asked impressed. “I’m not just a pretty face” I replied grinning widely. He turned pink before doing the same with his own goggles “Ready?” he asked me. “As I’ll ever be” I said looked over the deep blue water excitedly.

Cause its X mas eve here and because I think these chapters work better closer together..read on hehe...Chapter nine (contains swearing and things that may offend some. Please keep in mind, I wrote him to be a stereotypical male teenager. )I watched the door close behind her and then started to feel bad for acting like I had. I felt like an utter arsehole. She must have thought I didn’t want to take her out with the way I acted. She must have felt terrible. I needed to apologise to her for the stupid comment about trying to get out of it. It should be her choice. I mean if she wanted someone else to go with her, then that should be her decision and I should be ok with that. So why did I want to hurt the person that got that honour? Though I did have to say sorry and to ask her what she wanted, rather than make another stupid and inconsiderate comment. I heard the door open a few minutes later. She had changed somehow, but it was still the same cute bikini. I didn’t get it, she was even hotter then she was a few minutes ago, I couldn’t tear my eyes from her, she was so goddam sexy. I felt myself get warm. Then I said the most stupid thing I have ever said in my life. “Wow. You are hot” I said saying my thoughts out loud. “Excuse me?” she asked, confused. I felt my face heat up in humiliation. I couldn’t believe I had just told her what I was thinking. I mean of all the stupid idiotic things to do. “Umm, nothing…ahh…um…are you ready?” I asked her flustered now. I needed to think about something else. Spying the goggles and the snorkel I grabbed for her earlier, I shoved them into her hands. “If they don’t fit I can get you some others,” I said, looking everywhere but at her. “Thanks,” came her reply. She must have tried them on because a moment later she said “They are fine. So can we go get wet now?” I felt myself get warm again, upon hearing those words. It was crazy how such simple words could do that to a person. “Sure,” I said, still avoiding her eyes as I walked away. I led her to the platform that was just under the waters surface. I jumped in not even feeling the temperature of the normally cold water; I was so hot it was almost cooling. I turned around to help Indi down and my breath caught in my throat. As she leant down and put her hands on my shoulders, her cleavage was shoved into my face. The cold water stopped working on my hot body as I put my hands on her tiny waist. I lowered her carefully into the water. She let out a gasp as she hit the water, her nipples puckering under the top of her bikini. “Sorry,” I said lamely, tearing my eyes away from her chest “I should have warned you.” “It’s ok” she said looking at me with a grin that made my heart flip flop. “I am fine now and it was only the initial shock”. She gave me a wink before she turned her attention to her goggles and used the age old method of spitting into them to stop them fogging up. I couldn’t believe it, most girls balked at doing that. Indi though just went ahead and did it, even without direction. I was more then impressed and a little shocked. “How did you know to do that?” I asked impressed. “I’m not just a pretty face” she said grinning widely at me. I didn’t doubt that one bit; she had a sexy body to go with it. I went red with that thought. “Ready?” I asked her, pushing the thought from my head. “As I’ll ever be” she said excitedly as she looked over the water. Putting my own goggles on, I put my snorkel into my mouth and pushed off from the platform, Indi was right next to me. She looked at me and smiled around her own snorkel before she turned away. She looked back at me a moment later and pulled the snorkel from her mouth. “Where is the coral?” she questioned, “There’s only sand down there.” I couldn’t help it. I started laughing, my snorkel falling from my mouth. To me it was a silly question, but coming from her it was just cute. She just glared at me, a frown appearing on her smooth face “I thought we were at a reef, there is no need to laugh” she said crankily. “We are,” I said in between snickers, “The boat can’t get to close to the coral or it will break. It’s super fragile” I said, grinning now. “We have to swim out to it. It’s not very far. If you want, I can go back and get a tube to take you out there if you can’t or don’t want to swim” I said genuinely. “Oh well, now I feel like an idiot” she said blushing. “Though those blushes suit you, it’s an easy mistake to make” I said smiling at her. “Ok” she said her blush getting deeper “so what are we waiting for?” she said eagerly. “Nothing” I said putting my snorkel back into my mouth. I started swimming slowly to the edge of the reef. It didn’t take long to get there. I saw a clown fish swim by below me. As much as I loved looking at the wildlife on the reef, there was something more exciting to watch today, so I turned to look at Indi. Her face was lit up, her eyes were wide with excitement and she let out a little squeal when she spotted the clown fish. I couldn’t help but chuckle through my snorkel. For most of the morning Indi would make little squealing noises over something new, or the colour of the coral. Watching her was like seeing the reef for the first time all over again. When she wanted to see something up close, she would dive down into the water. I of course watched her butt when she did that. We stayed out there till the bell rang, signalling lunch. “Hungry?” I asked her treading water. “Starved” she answered. “Well lunch is ready, though I doubt the others will be back from diving. They are usually gone till much later, so you could be all by yourself” I said feeling almost bad for her. “That’s ok” she said happily “but if I go in, can I come back out again later? I am just having so much fun and I want to see everything”. “I am more then happy to come back out with you” I smiled “or if you want, someone else can take you.” “Awesome. Let’s go eat then” she said smiling at me. It didn’t take long to get back to the boat. I helped her back up on the platform then went to hop out myself, when everything felt like it had stopped. She was bending down in front of me. Her skin was glistening with the droplets of water that were stuck to her skin; her little derrière was positioned right in front of me as she picked up her towel. I committed that to memory, figuring that if I didn’t see her again, this would be how I would remember her. With a mental shake of my head I got out and reached for my own towel, pushing it to my face first to clear the salt from my eyes. I lowered it a moment later and caught her staring at me, a dreamy look in her eyes. She saw me looking and started to blush again. I had the overwhelming urge to touch her cheeks to see if they were as warm as they looked. “Where do we go for the food?” she said pulling me from my thoughts. “Oh, ahh…It should be set up on the level you were first shown. If it’s not there ask Jane, she should be in the bar. She will be able to give you more directions” I said, smiling at her. “You aren’t coming with me?” she asked almost sadly. “No, I don’t eat with the guests” I replied, disappointed myself. “Oh. Well, I am changing that rule today” she said confidently “so, ahh…will you come eat with me?” “Umm…I am not sure if Mack would like that” I said making up a lame excuse. “If he says anything you tell him to come and talk to me” she said stubbornly “I really don’t want to eat alone.” I thought about my lame vegemite sandwich, which was sure to be squashed and laying at the bottom of my bag. I had already seen some of the food that they would be eating, it was more then I had ever seen in my lifetime and it looked absolutely delicious. “Ok” I nodded almost shyly. I figured if her family were there then I could go and eat my sandwich. “Great” she said grinning widely. She moved away and headed for the stairs to lead the way. Not that I minded, I got to watch her bum sway with every step. It was a view I enjoyed very much.

Note: We did go to the Great Barrier Reef, from two places. At the 2nd place we hired some underwater cameras that took some great pics. We got our photos back on a disk from the camera shop. With this disk there were also a number of pictures of coral/fish/etc. Mine sucked compared! So instead of using mine, I used the sample pics they added to my disk. So the pictures you see of the reef are thanks to the camera shop! Sadly normal picture never come out that great (unless you have a really great but super expensive camera), BUT when you are on the reef looking at the above (and more to come) it pretty much looks exactly like it.

Chapter ten(contains swearing)I could not believe the silly stupid things I was doing and saying. I mean how dumb was I for demanding to know where the coral was and then when Jace laughed I felt even sillier. It was like I was a child again, needing to know the answer to my every ‘why’ question. I was thankful that Jace couldn’t read my mind, I was so embarrassed, but soon forgot that when I saw the coral and the ‘Nemo’ fish that swam past my goggles. It was exactly like the movie, but real instead of a cartoon, I couldn’t help but squealing. I just hoped that he didn’t hear me, as I still sounded like a child. Jace didn’t try to talk to me again while we were swimming, sometimes he would point out a brightly coloured fish or some funky coral. I would have loved to take some home to show everyone, but it was a living thing and not only was it illegal but it would have died if I had tried. Instead I enjoyed my dream come true, and was so thankful it was Jace that got to show it to me. It was hours later when Jace pulled me to the surface telling me that lunch would be ready. I wasn’t sure if I was more disappointed that I had to get out of the water or that my time with Jace was up. I was so excited when he said we could get back in. Though I wasn’t sure if he trying to get someone else to show me the reef so he didn’t have to come back out. Too bad if he was, he wasn’t going to get away from me that easily. Before I knew it he was helping me back onto the platform of the boat. Once I was finished drying myself off, I saw him reach for his towel and everything around me stopped moving. His skin was shining; water was rolling down his wide chest. I bit my bottom lip watching one of the droplets. I wanted to put my mouth to his body and lick it off of him. I was still staring at him when he caught me looking. I blushed, hoping he wasn’t seeing my thoughts mirrored in my eyes. “Where do we go for the food?” I asked him trying to think of something other then the blush that was staining my cheeks. “Oh, ahh…It should be set up on the level you were first shown. If it’s not there ask Jane, she should be in the bar. She will be able to give you more directions” he said, smiling. “You aren’t coming with me?” I said disappointed that I wouldn’t get to spend more time with him. “No, I don’t eat with the guests” he replied. That may have been so on normal tours, but this wasn’t a normal tour and I just didn’t want him to get off it all so easily. “Oh. Well, I am changing that rule today” I said with a confidence I wasn’t sure I was feeling. “So, ahh…will you come eat with me?” “Umm…I am not sure if Mack would like that” he said still making excuses, which made me slightly mad. “If he says anything you tell him to come and talk to me” I said getting stubborn now, “I really don’t want to eat alone” I watched a range of emotions cross his face and wondered what excuse he would give me now, and was pleasantly surprised when he didn’t give me an excuse. “Ok” he nodded. “Great” I grinned widely, showing him my pleasure. I led the way to the makeshift dining room. Jace was wrong. They were back from diving and were already eating when we arrived. I was almost disappointed in seeing that they had come back. I was hoping to have lunch with just Jace there. I wanted to know more about him, and if it was only me there he would have had to answer my questions. “Oh, it looks like they are back. I ahh…guess I you don’t have to eat alone after all” he said almost sounding disappointed, though I was sure that’s what I wanted to hear. “I will see you later then I guess.” “Where the hell are you going?” I demanded. Wow, I couldn’t believe the little shrew I was turning into today. My parents had taught me better. “To eat my lunch” was his confused reply. “Yeah, you are” I said nodding. He gave me a confused look and started to walk away. “Jace” I called, before running over to him. “You are going the wrong way.” Jace looked at me like I had lost my marbles. With a sigh, I grabbed his hand firmly in mine and tugged him forward. It took a bit of effort before he got the idea and started to move freely on his own. I kept hold of his hand until we reached the buffet, savouring the feel of it. Letting it go I turned to him with a smile before I grabbed a plate and put some of the yummy looking food on it. Once I had what I wanted I headed over to the table and took a seat. Where I watched and waited for Jace to sit down next to me. He walked over to us, his own plate full, unsure of where to sit. I patted the seat next to me. Smiling he sat down next to me. I gave him a smile before joining in with the conversation that was going on at the table. Jace remained quiet for the entire lunch. After everyone had finished Mack called Jace away for a while. While he was gone Sarah pulled me aside. “What did you do kiddo?” She asked her face bright with laughter. “What do you mean?” I replied, confused. “Baby, that boy is head over heels for you already! What did you do? I need to know your secret!” she said laughing now. “I didn’t do anything. I’ve been making a silly fool of myself all day. He keeps making excuses to leave, but I am making him suffer my company” I said, laughing at my own stupidity. “Oh honey, he isn’t suffering,” she said, fanning her face. “Trust me, he likes you!” “No!” I said to my aunt before pausing. Was that true? “Really?” I asked. “Yes, really!” She said, wiggling her eyes brows like dad does, “Trust me, if you were to kiss him, I can guarantee that he would kiss you back.” “Sarah!” I exclaimed a little shocked. Though I stopped for a moment to think about what she had just said “But what if you are wrong? How embarrassing would that be?” “Baby girl, listen to your aunt Sarah” she said a cheeky grin on her face “I am not wrong. He couldn’t keep his eyes off you. Trust me, I am right. And tell you what if, I am wrong then I will do something equally embarrassing. Deal?” “Let me think about it” I said laughing now “so tell me what was it like to dive?” Sarah continued to talk about how great it was and if I wanted to go she was sure Holly would take me down. It sounded tempting, but on the other hand, it was even more tempting to spend the time with Jace. I chose the latter. An hour after lunch had finished Jace came back to get me. The others were out diving again, having had so much fun they wanted to see more. So once again it was just Jace and I. “Ready to go back out?” he asked when he saw that I was waiting for him. “Absolutely” I grinned back. “Let’s go”. This time he didn’t make an offer to change to someone else. I was grateful he didn’t, I didn’t want to have to demand again. He took me to a different part of the reef this time, and it was slightly shallower than the last one. There were sandy patches we could stand in so I could get a closer look at the coral. I was busy checking out some that looked like leather when Jace yelled out in pain. I immediately looked over at him. His face was white, like he had seen a ghost. “Jace? You ok?” I questioned him. He looked at me. His face was getting paler (if that was even possible) and he shook his head. “No,” he gasped “I…I…stepped on a stone fish. They are deadly poisonous” he said still gasping. “Oh my god,” I said rushing over to him, “What do I have to do?” I yelled. He looked at me with clouded eyes. “You…you…” was all he could manage before falling back into the water. “Jace!” I screamed grabbing him. I shook him hard but there was no response. Getting behind him, I wrapped my arms around my body and pulled him back towards the boat as fast as I could. Once I reached the platform I started screaming for help. I knew Mack was inside somewhere. With strength I didn’t know I had, I pulled Jace up onto the deck above the platform and leaned over him. He had stopped breathing. Checking his wrist he had a weak pulse. Without a second thought, I pushed his head back and pinched his nose as hard as I could with my fingers. Putting my mouth to his, I blew air into his lungs, screaming out for help in between every breath. In a short time Mack was beside me. “I have radioed for help Indi. Move over, take a break and tell me what happened” he said pushing me aside. I was grateful, it felt like my lungs were going to explode, but it was then that Jace started breathing on his own again, though he did nothing more than cough and vomit water, he didn’t regain consciousness. “He said something about a stepping on a stone fish” I said to Mack as I watched Jace’s face, willing him to wake up. “Oh fuck!” Mack swore. “Stay with him” he yelled before he took off at a run. I stayed where I was, watching Jace. His breathing was shallow, but least he was breathing now. Before I knew it Mack was back. He explained if it wasn’t treated fast then Jace could die. It would take too long to get back to shore by boat. Besides, we couldn’t leave those who were diving here as they didn’t know about Jace. So instead a helicopter was on its way to pick him up. I didn’t care; I just wanted it to be here already. I didn’t want him to die. I was so worried about him. Before we knew it, the chopper arrived and had taken him away. He still hadn’t opened his eyes. The paramedics injected him with some anti-venom and commended me on my fast actions in getting help. They called me a hero. Though I didn’t think I did anything special, I just did what anyone would have done. Once he was gone I got dressed and sat staring out the window of the boat. Mack offered to get someone else to go with me, but I didn’t want to. What had been a brilliant day, made even better because of Jace, but it had turned out to be pretty terrible. I just wanted him to be ok.

On a sad note, Jace died and that's the end of the story hahaha.
WHAT?! You think I would really do that so soon in a story? *I think that may be a hint?* HAHA the sad note is FOR NOW the chapters don't need to be read so close together...so its back to working for it LOL

Happy New Year everyone!! Hope 2011 is a great one for you! This chapter is for Tami who said I wasn't old *smooths out wrinkles* LOL Love ya kid Chapter eleven(contains swearing)I moped around for a week after we got home from the reef, each day wondering how Jace was. Until Sarah rang Mack and found out that he made it, and although he was still very weak, he was fine. He also said to commend me again. But I didn’t want to hear it, I was just glad Jace was ok. I decided a week after that there was nothing more for me to stay here for, so I talked to Jack and organized to go home in 3 weeks. It was enough time for me to go see my grandparents, since I had promised, and was also enough time for Jack to visit his family. We figured it was easier for him to go first. So I had been staying with Uncle Bryon and Aunt Simone for the last week. I enjoyed their company, and their girls were so much fun. They even managed to keep my mind off Jace, who I missed terribly. “You sure you will not stay any longer?” Aunt Simone had tried to change my mind one day when she caught me moping. “The girls would love to have you stay longer, and so would I for that matter. You have been a godsend Indi, you have kept them entertained where I couldn’t,” she said, rubbing her very large belly. “I have been so tired this last month waiting for this one to come along!” she looked down at her belly. “And Bryon, god bless him, is running himself ragged trying to do everything. All of us love having you here” she ended with a hopeful grin. “Umm, can I think about it?” I asked her. “Of course honey. I am just being selfish. I really will understand if you want to go home. If you ever come back you will always be very welcome here!” She said, hugging me as best as she could. Aunt Sarah was the same as Aunt Simone. She too wanted me to stay longer, and she promised me no more horrible Great Barrier Reef trips. I told her that I would think about it too. But unlike Aunt Simone, Aunt Sarah was more persistent. One night she came over and made me put on a really nice dress, she styled my hair and said she was taking me out to show me how much fun I would be missing out on if I left. She had managed to talk her older brother, my Uncle Keegan and his girlfriend Cassidy into joining us. I hadn’t seen him yet as he was so busy with work so I gave in and followed her wishes. Before I knew it we were at one of the nicest restaurants in town. It was maybe a bit too snobbish for me, but it made Sarah happy. I put on my best smile, determined to enjoy myself. (Jace’s life) It annoyed me the way things happened sometimes and I cursed my bad luck the entire time I was recovering from more of my bad luck. I knew better than to just walk about the reef bed without checking it first. It was a stupid thing to do, but I was more interested in watching Indi than watching where I was going. The next thing I remember was that excruciating pain in my foot, which spread quickly, and then I felt my muscles going weak. It was then I knew I must have stepped on the stone fish hard, as I had a massive dose of the venom. I don’t remember anything after that, but Mack told me that Indi somehow got me back onto the ship and was doing CPR on me when he came to see what the commotion was about. She saved my life and I owed her, big time. I was just so pissed that I didn’t even get to say thanks or good-bye. I hated my luck, or lack there of. Of course Mum didn’t see any of this as life threatening. She just complained that I was faking it, and that my stay in hospital was no more than a holiday I hadn’t even earned. As soon as I got home, it was business as usual, even though my foot was still causing me grief. Mack was much nicer about it, telling me to get better and that when I was ready he would give me a paid job aboard his boat. I couldn’t believe my good luck with that! Now I could give up my shitty job at the restaurant I hated. So, I handed in my resignation but the fat, tight-fisted arse that I worked for demanded I finish out the week before he’d let me go. It was a pain in the arse and I would have told him where to stick it, but I needed the money. I still hadn’t been paid for the work I had done the two weeks previously, so I swallowed my pride for one more week. It wasn’t so bad, knowing I would be leaving. It was almost a relief. Today was my last night, and it just happened to be the busiest night of the week. Saturdays always were. To top it all off, the chef was in a really bad mood. “JACE! For fucks sakes, get this fucking trash OUT of here! It fucking stinks!” He yelled at me, and his double chin jiggled as he did. I looked at the dishes next to me that I had yet to clean. They were piled to the roof! I really hated this job. It was bullshit anyway. Kitchen hand my arse, it was more like shit kicker. Sighing, I walked over to the bin and picked it up. I was just walking out the door when I slipped. I fell to the floor, and the trash landed on top of me. As I got to my feet, all I could hear was the chef laughing his arse off at my situation. “I told you ages ago to get better shoes then the ones you have, you silly twit!” He was still laughing, his huge belly bouncing around. “But did you listen? No. You continue to slide around my kitchen. You’ve paid the price now, hey?!” “Whatever,” I grumbled as I pushed the rubbish back into the bin. I looked down at my apron: I was covered in filth. Everything from egg shells to cabbage leaves. I didn’t even dare look at myself in the mirror. I knew what I would see. With a large sigh I headed out the back door to dump my load and take my break. That stupid chef didn’t realise I had no money for new shoes that were non-slip. They cost a fortune! He was right though, I did do more sliding then walking. It couldn’t be helped. Flipping over an old crate near the back door, I flopped down on it, thankful yet again that it was my last day. At least it was just garbage that landed on me and not boiling hot water or left over soup that I often had to carry around. I was still sitting there moping over the incident when I heard that voice. I would know it anywhere. She was arguing with someone, although hers was the only voice I heard. I got up off the overturned crate, slowly, not believing my luck could be that good twice in my lifetime, and I moved slowly towards her. She looked stunning in her backless pink dress; her hair was styled and perfect. She was indeed arguing with someone on her phone. Still, she didn’t sound like she was angry. It sounded like she was trying to convince whoever was on the other side that she wanted to go home. Whatever that meant. I stood there in the shadows watching her talk and move around. She was absolutely stunning. She could wear a paper bag and still be stunning. She finished her phone call and sighed, staring off into space. She moved over to the wall and leant against it, putting her head back to let out another big sigh. She sounded so sad. I wanted to hug her and I was about to do just that when I remembered what I looked like. I was a mess! She would laugh at me and assume I had crawled out of the dumpster. I was torn. I wanted to thank her for saving my life. I wanted to get her number so I didn’t have to be without her in my life. She was like no one I had ever met before. But my damn pride got in the way. With one last lingering look at her, I sunk back into the shadows and stepped on something. It made a loud cracking noise. She jumped away from the wall and looked in my direction, squinting. “Who’s there?” She called out, clearly afraid. I cursed my luck again. In no way did I want her to be scared, so I decided to call out to her. “It’s ok Indi, it’s just me.” With a mental cringe, I gathered the last of my dignity and stepped out of the shadows and into the light. “Oh…my…god! Jace?!” Indi gasped, looking utterly surprised. She looked me up and down, taking in my rotten state. “What the hell are you doing here?! Why are you covered in flour and egg?” “I’m covered in egg?” I asked, touching my hair which was stuck to my face. It was incredibly sticky. I looked back at her; she was trying not to laugh at my appearance. “Go for it,” I said soberly. “Just laugh.” Upon hearing that, she let out a loud burst of laughter that was sweet to my ears. I couldn’t help myself after that, and I let out my own chuckle. “It’s that bad hey?” She nodded. “I am sorry, but I really wish I had my camera right now. You look a picture!” I grinned back at her evilly. “Maybe I should share my state? I mean, I do owe you a lot of gratitude.” I started to make my way slowly to her, arms outstretched. She stopped laughing and looked at me seriously; all traces of humor left her face. I stopped in my tracks and let my arms drop. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to offend you.” I wondered what it was that had caused her to stop laughing. She shook her head. “No Jace, you didn’t offend me.” She replied. Indi then took the last few steps I didn’t and pushed her little body up against mine and wrapped her arms around my neck in a tight hug. “I am just so glad you are ok. I was so scared you were going to die.” She confessed, tears threatening to fall from her eyes. “Oh, Indi! I am fine thanks to you,” I replied, wrapping my own arms around her. She’d begun to cry quietly. “If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t be here today, seriously. It’s ok, you can stop crying.” “But you almost died Jace!” She sobbed into my shoulder. “I was the reason behind the whole thing! I shouldn’t have demanded that you swim with me. Then you would have never been hurt at all! I feel so guilty! It was really wrong of me and I am sorry, I really am!!” “Don’t you dare apologise for the best day of my life. Yeah, granted, it didn’t end well, but I wouldn’t swap any of it and I would do it all over again if it meant getting to meet you Indi.” “Really?” She asked, looking at me now. I smiled at her. “Really.” “Oh Jace,” She cried, before pressing her lips to mine. At first I was shocked and stood there like an idiot just holding her. It wasn’t like this was my first kiss; it wasn’t like it was my first anything! I’d had lots of girlfriends and had done everything from kissing to having sex. I knew how to kiss a girl, but for some stupid reason it felt like my first time: my head refused to catch up. As I felt her start to pull away, it was then I caught up. Crushing her to me tightly so she couldn’t move, I moulded my lips to hers and kissed her soundly.

This chapter is for Dizzy as a belated X mas prezzie. Chapter twelveMy mobile phone went off during dinner. Normally I would have ignored it, but the caller ID was flashing ‘home’. I knew it was Mum, Dad or even one of my siblings. Excusing myself from the table, I went outside to talk. “Hello?” I answered once I was outside. “Hey Indi!” came two happy voices. “Hi Mum, Hi Dad,” I laughed, recognising the voices right away. “How is it going over there, baby?” Mum asked me. I had already called them to tell them about Jace and the adventures at the reef, but it had been a few days since I last talked to them and they didn’t know that I had made a decision to come home. “Umm well, I was going to call later tonight, but you beat me to it.” I had to tell them, it was now or never. “I, ahh, I am going to cut my holiday short and come home,” I announced in a rush. “Jack is visiting his family this week, after that I’m going to go see the grandparents, and then we are both coming home.” “Wait, Indi, hang on.” Dad announced, and I could hear the concern in his voice immediately. “You’re telling us you want to come home? Already?! After all that begging you did for us to let you go? What the hell has happened Bub?” “Nothing!” I lied, of course they saw right though that. “Indi, don’t lie to us. We are your parents; tell us what’s going on,” Dad continued, “We can fly over there if you’re in any trouble?” “No Dad, it’s not that,” I sighed, “I just want to come home.” Mum and Dad continued to argue with me. I thought they would have jumped at the chance for me to come home early, since they were reluctant to let me go to Australia in the first place, but in some weird world we’d done a swap. I argued with them for a bit longer before they dropped the subject. I knew I could tell them anything, but it felt awkward telling them I wanted to come home because I missed Jace and had no way of ever seeing him again. It was a lost cause and I wanted to run away from it. After I hung up the phone, I leaned against the restaurant wall, trying not to cry, when I heard something in the alley next to me. My heart jumped and raced at the sound. “Who’s there?” I called out, my voice sounding as shaky as I felt. “It’s ok Indi, it’s just me.” The voice I had come to know well in just one day called out, and I couldn’t believe my luck. I was frozen to the spot. That’s when he stepped into the light. “Oh…my…god! Jace?!” I exclaimed. It didn’t feel real. Then I looked at him a bit closer. He was covered from head to toe in what looked like flour and egg; he had a lettuce leaf stuck to his shirt. He looked like he had been rolling around in a dumpster. “What the hell are you doing here?! Why are you covered in flour and egg?” I asked him, trying my hardest not to laugh at his appearance. “I’m covered in egg?” He replied, reaching up to his hair. His fingers were met by an area of sticky yolk. I couldn’t help but snort. “Go for it. Just laugh.” Upon hearing that, I let out the laughter that was forcing its way out anyway. He was a sight to behold. “It’s that bad hey?” he asked, laughing at himself. All I could do was nod. “I am sorry,” I gasped once I had some breath, “But I really wish I had my camera right now. You look a picture!” He grinned back at me, his own sense of humor showing for his own state of dress. “Maybe I should share my state? I mean, I do owe you a lot of gratitude.” He started to walk towards me. It was then I stopped laughing and remembered the last time I had seen him. All I could see was his white face from that day and the fact that he almost died. The emotions that I had been pushing down came rushing out, like a flood gate had been opened. I just stood staring at him stupidly. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to offend you.” He stopped in his tracks, looking embarrassed. I shook my head “No Jace, you didn’t offend me.” Before I could think about it I took the last few steps towards him and threw myself at him, wrapping my arms around his neck in a tight hug. I didn’t ever want to let him go. I needed to be sure for myself that he really was ok. “I am just so glad you are ok. I was so scared you were going to die.” I said, feeling the tears building in my eyes. “Oh, Indi! I am fine thanks to you,” Jace replied, wrapping his arms around my waist. I felt my tears as they started to fall down my face. “If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t be here today, seriously. It’s ok, you can stop crying.” “But you almost died Jace! I was the reason behind the whole thing! I shouldn’t have demanded that you swim with me. Then you would have never been hurt at all! I feel so guilty! It was really wrong of me and I am sorry, I really am!!” I sobbed into his shoulder, letting out all that I had been holding back from everyone, especially the guilt I had been carrying around since that day. “Don’t you dare apologise for the best day of my life. Yeah, granted, it didn’t end well, but I wouldn’t swap any of it and I would do it all over again if it meant getting to meet you Indi.” “Really?” I asked him, shocked that he considered it the ‘best day of his life’. He smiled at me. “Really.” “Oh Jace,” I cried, and Sarah’s words came back to me in a rush. If he did like me and if I were to kiss him, he would kiss me back. So without a second thought I pressed my lips to his in my first kiss. I was crushed when he didn’t do anything but continue to hold me. I guessed Sarah was wrong and I had completely embarrassed myself yet again. I stared to pull away when his arms crushed me hard to his body and his lips started to move against mine. I was in heaven. I made a mental note to thank Sarah before I lost myself to the kiss. It was everything I imagined my first kiss to be and more. It felt like hours later when we pulled ourselves away from each other both rather breathless. “Wow,” I whispered. Jace just grinned at me. “I have wanted to do that ever since I first saw you standing on the dock looking up at the boat.” “You were the one watching me?” “Guilty as charged,” he replied, looking sheepish. “I will forgive you if…you do it again,” I said, smiling at him softly. “What, stare at you again?” “No, kiss me.” I was still smiling. With a groan he put his lips to mine again, this time he pushed my mouth open with his tongue and let it dart over my lips, sending little shivers down my body. We came up for air a few minutes later. I was still catching my breath when he looked down. “Your dress is ruined. I’m sorry.” He said apologetically. I shook my head, deciding to borrow his words. Beaming from ear to ear, I announced: “Don’t you dare apologise for the best day of my life Jace. I would do it all over again, just to have my first ever kiss and for it to be with you.” “I was your first kiss?” He asked in both shock and surprise, causing me to blush. “Yes,” I replied, lowering my head. My cheeks were heating up. The next moment I felt one of his hands under my chin and the other on my left cheek. “Don’t be embarrassed,” he grinned, his fingers brushing my cheek softly. “And I really do love those blushes. I have wanted to see if they were as warm as they looked the first time I saw them.” “Why didn’t you then?” “’Cause I didn’t ever think, even in my wildest dreams, and they are wild, that a girl like you would ever be interested in me. And then to top it off I kept embarrassing myself and saying stupid things.” He sounded a little embarrassed. “And I wasn’t doing stupid things?” I asked him laughing, “At least you didn’t fall on your ass and get wet!” I laughed at the memory. “You didn’t know what was going through my mind when you started taking off your clothes,” He replied, a red blush beginning to form on his own cheeks. I started laughing again. “We really did make a mess of things didn’t we?” I grinned once my laughter had subsided. “I thought you didn’t want to be with me. You kept running away or offering to get someone else. I was determined to make you suffer my company!” “Suffer?! Oh, that I did!” He grinned. “You were such a pain in the arse, prancing in that tiny little bikini of yours.” “You perv!” I shrieked with mock anger. “I couldn’t help myself, you are hot! And talking about arses...please turn around so I can look at yours again!” He pushed me back so he could look down at my body, causing a blush to creep onto my cheeks again. I did a little half turn, then stuck my bum out, wiggled it and then continued to turn. Jace had a silly grin on his face. “So do I get a favor too?” I asked him, my own silly grin on my face. “You can have anything if you do that again!” Jace laughed. I did it again, this time I wiggled my tooshie a little longer before turning back around. “Can I have that favour now?” I giggled. Jace nodded his eyes as wide as his grin. I stepped up to him and put my hands on his waist and grinned. His eyes locked onto mine, he did move an inch but I just grinned back. I left my hands there for a minute before I moved them up and under his shirt. I closed my eyes as I let my hands run over his taunt chest, letting my fingers feel the contours of his body. “Mmm, now I have wanted to do that from the moment you got caught in your t shirt…” I trailed off, still grinning as I let my hands wander. With a groan Jace pulled me back to him and pressed his lips to mine in a burning kiss. “What are you doing tomorrow?” He asked me once he had branded my mouth. “I am doing what ever you are doing,” I grinned back. “Good answer,” He replied before kissing me again. Note: I know its all happening very fast for these two, but please understand their attraction to each other is VERY great and it wouldn't have worked it I had made it "slow".

YAY!! Another update! Thanks Shell. But I still want more!! Most romances in books go fast, so it doesn't seem strange to me, but then i tend to read quite a few romance novels It still puts a smile on my face that they found each other again Though i figured they had to so the story could continue, but still... nice that they didn't have to wait too long before the evil controller You, Shell, let them find each other.
