This isn't a usual WCIF and I wasn't quite sure where to post this, but, am having real problems with vitasims2... I can't download anything on there, i click the download link and just get sent to a page with a load of nonsensical writing.. I tried accessing it on IE instead of FireFox to see if that made a difference and I also tried clearing my cookies and cache etc, but it didn't make any difference So I was just wondering if anyone else is having the same problems really. Is it the site? Or is it me? And does anyone know how I can fix it if it is me? Thanks

Its your PC worked fine here. Check what your file association is for zip files with firefox. (Tools > Options > Select the content tab then in press the Manage button and see what the default behavior is for zips. If there is nothing there for zip then check your windows file association is set to. After that I am not sure Hope that makes sense. DTM

Before doing the stuff below find a zip file you have downloaded previously and double click on it if it opens correctly ie shows the files within then the stuff below wont help and I would suggest drinking instead . If it opens like it did for the download then try the steps below. To check the file association go into windows explorer. (right click on start then explore). From the menu select Tools then select Folder Options. Select the file type tab and find zip in the file list. It should look something like this. Then press the change button and you will get a dialog that looks like the following Zip should be associated with something like Compressed Zipped (this is the windows XP default) Winzip , Winrar , PKzip, Lzarc or something along those lines.

ok its not you the site has some "issues" on it. I clicked on a link this morning and it did as you described others just worked. The ones that didnt work I got to download by right clicking and selecting"Save Link As" on FF and Save Target has in IE. The file then opened properly when I opened it from my hard drive. See how that goes and if it works have a celebratory drink if it doesn't just drown your sorrows and have a drink
